Evaluation of hydraulic fracturing of horizontal wells in tight reservoirs based on the deep neural network with physical constraints

Accurate diagnosis of fracture geometry and conductivity is of great challenge due to the complex morphology of volumetric fracture network. In this study, a DNN (deep neural network) model was proposed to predict fracture parameters for the evaluation of the fracturing effects. Field experience and the law of fracture volume conservation were incorporated as physical constraints to improve the prediction accuracy due to small amount of data. A combined neural network was adopted to input both static geological and dynamic fracturing data. The structure of the DNN was optimized and the model was validated through k-fold cross-validation. Results indicate that this DNN model is capable of predicting the fracture parameters accurately with a low relative error of under 10% and good generalization ability. The adoptions of the combined neural network, physical constraints, and k-fold cross-validation improve the model performance. Specifically, the root-mean-square error (RMSE) of the model decreases by 71.9% and 56% respectively with the combined neural network as the input model and the consideration of physical constraints. The mean square error (MRE) of fracture parameters reduces by 75% because the k-fold cross-validation improves the rationality of data set dividing. The model based on the DNN with physical constraints proposed in this study provides foundations for the optimization of fracturing design and improves the efficiency of fracture diagnosis in tight oil and gas reservoirs.

Integrating electrochemical reduction of CO_(2)and electrochemical oxidation to recycle degraded superalloys is a promising solution to ease resource scarcity and safeguard environmental ***,we propose an electrochemical technique for the conversion of bulk superalloy scraps and CO_(2)into oxide powder at the anode and solid carbon at the cathode,*** particular,a borax-modifi ed CaCl_(2)-based molten salt electrolyte is used for enhancing the electrochemical oxidation of superalloy *** a temperature of 700℃and a voltage of 2.8 V,90.55 wt.%of alloy scraps were oxidized in a molten CaCl_(2)–NaCl–CaCO_(3)–Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7)with an acid–base ratio(K_(a/b))of *** synergy of Cl−and B_(4)O_(7)2−of electrolyte prevents the passivation of the alloy anode and enables continuous ***,the Ni and Co in the anode products are recovered by sulfation roasting with recovery efficiencies of 85.58%and 95.27%for Ni and Co,***,modulating the alkalinity of the electrolyte for enhancing oxidation/pulverization of alloy scrap anode provides new insight into electrochemically recovering superalloy scraps.

Enhancing flotation recovery of residual carbon from gasification waste by mixing hydrophobic powder with diesel as collector

Coal gasification fine slag(CGFS)is a solid waste containing residual carbon and ash generated during the coal gasification process,and the separation of the two components is the essential way to realize its environmental pollution reduction and resource value *** flotation is the preferred method for separating CGFS,but there is a barrier of low carbon recovery in this process due to the extensive adsorption of collector by the well-developed pores on residual *** this study,a sufficiently simple yet innovative collector,a mixture of hydrophobic powder and diesel,was proposed in an attempt to break the *** experiments with common diesel and this novel collector were performed respectively,and FTIR,XPS,and SEM-EDX were employed to analyze the collector action *** results revealed that the novel collector could significantly improve the residual carbon recovery;test results demonstrated that the novel collector could increase the hydrophobic functional group content on the fine slag surface,and the hydrophobic powders in this novel collector mainly appeared at the pore openings of the flotation *** essence of the mechanism is that the hydrophobic powders play a dual role of blocking pores and providing adsorption sites,thus facilitating the spreading of diesel on the carbon surface and promoting its *** study can provide creative ideas for the efficient disposal of coal gasification waste.

Real-time model correction using Kalman filter for Raman-controlled cell culture processes

Raman spectroscopy has found extensive use in monitoring and controlling cell culture *** this context,the prediction accuracy of Raman-based models is of paramount ***,models established with data from manually fed-batch cultures often exhibit poor performance in Raman-controlled ***,there is a need for effective methods to rectify these *** objective of this paper is to investigate the efficacy of Kalman filter(KF)algorithm in correcting Raman-based models during cell ***,partial least squares(PLS)models for different components were constructed using data from manually fed-batch cultures,and the predictive performance of these models was ***,various correction methods including the PLS-KF-KF method proposed in this study were employed to refine the PLS ***,a case study involving the auto-control of glucose concentration demonstrated the application of optimal model correction *** results indicated that the original PLS models exhibited differential performance between manually fed-batch cultures and Raman-controlled *** glucose,the root mean square error of prediction(RMSEP)of manually fed-batch culture and Raman-controlled culture was 0.23 and 0.40 g·*** the implementation of model correction methods,there was a significant improvement in model performance within Raman-controlled *** RMSEP for glucose from updating-PLS,KF-PLS,and PLS-KF-KF was 0.38,0.36 and 0.17 g·L-1,***,the proposed PLS-KF-KF model correction method was found to be more effective and stable,playing a vital role in the automated nutrient feeding of cell cultures.

Network Configuration Entity Extraction Method Based on Transformer with Multi-Head Attention Mechanism

Nowadays,ensuring thequality of networkserviceshas become increasingly *** are turning toknowledge graph technology,with a significant emphasis on entity extraction in the identification of device *** research paper presents a novel entity extraction method that leverages a combination of active learning and attention ***,an improved active learning approach is employed to select the most valuable unlabeled samples,which are subsequently submitted for expert *** approach successfully addresses the problems of isolated points and sample redundancy within the network configuration sample *** the labeled samples are utilized to train the model for network configuration entity ***,the multi-head self-attention of the transformer model is enhanced by introducing the Adaptive Weighting method based on the Laplace mixture *** enhancement enables the transformer model to dynamically adapt its focus to words in various positions,displaying exceptional adaptability to abnormal data and further elevating the accuracy of the proposed *** comparisons with Random Sampling(RANDOM),Maximum Normalized Log-Probability(MNLP),Least Confidence(LC),Token Entrop(TE),and Entropy query by Bagging(EQB),the proposed method,Entropy query by Bagging and Maximum Influence Active Learning(EQBMIAL),achieves comparable performance with only 40% of the samples on both datasets,while other algorithms require 50% of the ***,the entity extraction algorithm with the Adaptive Weighted Multi-head Attention mechanism(AW-MHA)is compared with BILSTM-CRF,Mutil_Attention-Bilstm-Crf,Deep_Neural_Model_NER and BERT_Transformer,achieving precision rates of 75.98% and 98.32% on the two datasets,*** tests demonstrate the statistical significance and effectiveness of the proposed algorithms in this paper.

Potential evaluation of saline aquifers for the geological storage of carbon dioxide: A case study of saline aquifers in the Qian-5 member in northeastern Ordos Basin

The well-developed coal electricity generation and coal chemical industries have led to huge carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions in the northeastern Ordos *** geological storage of CO_(2) in saline aquifers is an effective backup way to achieve carbon *** this case,the potential of saline aquifers for CO_(2) storage serves as a critical basis for subsequent geological storage *** study calculated the technical control capacities of CO_(2) of the saline aquifers in the fifth member of the Shiqianfeng Formation(the Qian-5 member)based on the statistical analysis of the logging and the drilling and core data from more than 200 wells in the northeastern Ordos Basin,as well as the sedimentary facies,formation lithology,and saline aquifer development patterns of the Qian-5 *** results show that(1)the reservoirs of saline aquifers in the Qian-5 member,which comprise distributary channel sand bodies of deltaic plains,feature low porosities and permeabilities;(2)The study area hosts three NNE-directed saline aquifer zones,where saline aquifers generally have a single-layer thickness of 3‒8 m and a cumulative thickness of 8‒24 m;(3)The saline aquifers of the Qian-5 member have a total technical control capacity of CO_(2) of 119.25×10^(6) *** the largest scale and the highest technical control capacity(accounting for 61%of the total technical control capacity),the Jinjie-Yulin saline aquifer zone is an important prospect area for the geological storage of CO_(2) in the saline aquifers of the Qian-5 member in the study area.

The safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines in the elderly,a high-risk group for severe COVID-19 infection,have not been fully *** clarify these issues,this prospective study followed up 157 elderly and 73 young participants for 16 months and compared the safety,immunogenicity,and efficacy of two doses of the inactivated vaccine BBIBP-CorV followed by a booster dose of the recombinant protein vaccine *** results showed that this vaccination protocol was safe and tolerable in the *** administering two doses of the BBIBP-CorV,the positivity rates and titers of neutralizing and anti-RBD antibodies in the elderly were significantly lower than those in the young *** the ZF2001 booster dose,the antibody-positive rates in the elderly were comparable to those in the young;however,the antibody titers remained ***,age,and underlying diseases were independently associated with vaccine immunogenicity in elderly *** pseudovirus neutralization assay showed that,compared with those after receiving two doses of BBIBP-CorV priming,some participants obtained immunological protection against BA.5 and BF.7 after receiving the ZF2001 *** infection symptoms last longer in the infected elderly and pre-infection antibody titers were negatively associated with the severity of post-infection *** antibody levels in the elderly increased significantly after breakthrough infection but were still lower than those in the *** data suggest that multiple booster vaccinations at short intervals to maintain high antibody levels may be an effective strategy for protecting the elderly against COVID-19.

Endoscopic features and treatments of gastric cystica profunda

BACKGROUND Gastric cystica profunda(GCP)represents a rare condition characterized by cystic dilation of gastric glands within the mucosal and/or submucosal *** is often linked to,or may progress into,early gastric cancer(EGC).AIM To provide a comprehensive evaluation of the endoscopic features of GCP while assessing the efficacy of endoscopic treatment,thereby offering guidance for diagnosis and *** This retrospective study involved 104 patients with GCP who underwent endoscopic *** demographic and clinical data,regular patient followups were conducted to assess local *** Among the 104 patients diagnosed with GCP who underwent endoscopic resection,12.5%had a history of previous gastric *** primary site predominantly affected was the cardia(38.5%,n=40).GCP commonly exhibited intraluminal growth(99%),regular presentation(74.0%),and ulcerative mucosa(61.5%).The leading endoscopic feature was the mucosal lesion type(59.6%,n=62).The average maximum diameter was 20.9±15.3 mm,with mucosal involvement in 60.6%(n=63).Procedures lasted 73.9±57.5 min,achieving complete resection in 91.3%(n=95).Recurrence(4.8%)was managed via either surgical intervention(n=1)or through endoscopic resection(n=4).Final pathology confirmed that 59.6%of GCP cases were associated with *** analysis indicated that elderly males were more susceptible to GCP associated with ***,multivariate analysis identified lesion morphology and endoscopic features as significant risk *** analysis demonstrated no statistically significant difference in recurrence between GCP with and without EGC(P=0.72).CONCLUSION The findings suggested that endoscopic resection might serve as an effective and minimally invasive treatment for GCP with or without EGC.
