In this work,the phase evolution mechanism and nanomechanical properties of(CoCrNi))(82)Al_(9)Ti_(9)high-entropy alloy(HEA)prepared by selective laser melting(SLM)in the molten pool were *** HEA contains multiple primary elements and undergoes high-temperature gradient and rapid cooling during *** leads to significant inhomogeneity of nano-scale microstructure characteristics and instability of *** optimizing process parameters,the microstructure evolution at the optimal parameter volume energy density of 440 J/mm^(3)was studied.A phase transition from BCC to FCC occurred in the melt *** the micro-area of the melt pool results in a temperature rise and the combustion-induced loss of Al ***,the Ni element content increases significantly outside the melt *** process enhances the phase stability of FCC and facilitates phase ***,rapid cooling leads to the formation of distinctive ultrafine equiaxial crystals inside the melt pool,accompanied by the generation of intracrystalline needle-like nano-scale *** the melt pool,the accumulation of energy results in the formation of coarse ***,the nano-hardness inside the molten pool is remarkably high at 11.79 GPa,while the outside the molten pool is reduced to 9.58 *** the fracture toughness outside the melt pool also *** with inside the melt pool,the residual stress outside the melt pool changed from compressive to tensile stress and decreased from 603.28 to 322.84 MPa.

Fluoropyrimidine-based combination chemotherapy plus targeted therapy is the standard initial treatment for unresectable metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC),but the prognosis remains *** phase 3 trial(***:NCT03950154)assessed the efficacy and adverse events(AEs)of the combination of PD-1 blockade-activated DC-CIK(PD1-T)cells with XELOX plus bevacizumab as a first-line therapy in patients with mCRC.A total of 202 participants were enrolled and randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive either first-line XELOX plus bevacizumab(the control group,n=102)or the same regimen plus autologous PD1-T cell immunotherapy(the immunotherapy group,n=100)every 21 days for up to 6 cycles,followed by maintenance treatment with capecitabine and *** main endpoint of the trial was progression-free survival(PFS).The median follow-up was 19.5 *** PFS was 14.8 months(95%CI,11.6-18.0)for the immunotherapy group compared with 9.9 months(8.0-11.8)for the control group(hazard ratio[HR],0.60[95%CI,0.40-0.88];p=0.009).Median overall survival(OS)was not reached for the immunotherapy group and 25.6 months(95%CI,18.3-32.8)for the control group(HR,0.57[95%CI,0.33-0.98];p=0.043).Grade 3 or higher AEs occurred in 20.0%of patients in the immunotherapy group and 23.5%in the control groups,with no toxicity-associated deaths *** addition of PD1-T cells to first-line XELOX plus bevacizumab demonstrates significant clinical improvement of PFS and OS with well tolerability in patients with previously untreated mCRC.

BACKGROUND Enhancing awareness and use of pre-exposure prophylaxis(PrEP)and postexposure prophylaxis(PEP)is vital to curb human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)***-risk behaviors prevalent among sexually transmitted infection clinic outpatients underscore the need for increased PrEP/PEP education in this *** To investigate the effects of both onsite and online health education on the knowledge of,and willingness to use,PrEP and PEP among individuals receiving PEP *** Participants were drawn from a cohort study on PEP service intervention at an STD/AIDS outpatient clinic in designated HIV/AIDS hospitals in Beijing,conducted from January 1 to June 30,*** education was provided both onsite and online during *** assessing knowledge of,and willingness to use,PrEP/PEP were administered at baseline and again at 24 wk *** A total of 112 participants were enrolled in the study;105 completed the follow-up at week *** percentage of participants with adequate knowledge of,and willingness to use,PrEP significantly increased from 65.2%and 69.6%at baseline to 83.8%and 82.9%at the end of the intervention(both P<0.05).Similarly,those with adequate knowledge of,and willingness to use,PEP increased from 74.1%and 77.7%at baseline to 92.4%and 89.5%at week 24(P<0.05).Being between 31 years and 40 years of age,having a postgraduate degree or higher,and reporting a monthly expenditure of RMB 5000 or more were found to be significantly associated with knowledge of PrEP and PEP(both P<0.05).CONCLUSION The findings show that both onsite and online health education significantly improved the knowledge of,and increased willingness to use,PrEP and PEP in individuals utilizing PEP services.

Orientation optimization plays an important role in the lay-up design of composite *** orientation optimization methods face the main problem of huge number of design ***,a patch concept is proposed to reduce the number of design ***,the traditional stress-based method can not deal with patch orientation optimization of composite *** this paper,we propose an extended stress-based method to deal with such *** considered problems are to minimize the mean compliance under multiple load cases or to maximize the eigenvalues of a composite *** numerical examples are solved to demonstrate the efficiency of the new *** is shown that the new method has the ability to deal with constraints on orientation angle,such as symmetric,antisymmetric and discrete orientation angle *** iteration is less time-consuming because no sensitivity analysis is needed and a quick convergence rate can be achieved.

A biarc-based shape optimization approach to reduce stress concentration effects

In order to avoid stress concentration, the shape boundary must be properly designed via shape optimiza- tion. Traditional shape optimization approach eliminates the stress concentration effect by using free-form curve to present the design boundaries without taking the machin- ability into consideration. In most numerical control （NC） machines, linear as well as circular interpolations are used to generate the tool path. Non-circular curves, such as non- uniform rotational B-spline （NURBS）, need other more ad- vanced interpolation functions to formulate the tool path. Forming the circular tool path by approximating the opti- mal free curve boundary with arcs or biarcs is another op- tion. However, these two approaches are both at a cost of sharp expansion of program code and long machining time consequently. Motivated by the success of recent researches on biarcs, a reliable shape optimization approach is pro- posed in this work to directly optimize the shape boundaries with biarcs while the efficiency and precision of traditional method are preserved. Finally, the approach is validated by several illustrative examples.

Effects of Ti addition on corrosion behavior of Zr-based metallic glass in chloride medium

The effects of Ti element on the corrosion resistance of the metallic glass ***0.8 in aqueous solution with various chloride concentrations were investigated, and the effect mechanism was discussed. X-ray diffraction con-firmed that Ti-added ***0.8 metallic glasses with diameter of 3 mm were all metallic glasses. weight loss and electrochemical method were introduced to characterize their corrosion resistance, and X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy study was used t9 characterize the passive film composition. The results show that the corrosion resistance of metallic glass is significantly improved with Ti addition, and Zr dioxides dominate in passive film during corrosion when Ti content is low. High Ti addition can lead to an obvious accumulation of Ti dioxides, which results in a thicker, Ti-enriched protective passive film.

Influence factors of international gold futures price volatility

Based on the commodity property and finance property of gold in the international gold futures market,the influence factors of international gold futures price volatility are analyzed from the perspectives of supply and demand factors,financial factors and speculation *** structural vector autoregression(SVAR)model is applied to investigating the direction and strength of the effects of influence factors on the international gold futures prices and the variance decomposition approach(VDA)is used to compare the contributions of these *** results show that the supply and demand factors still play a fundamental role in the international gold futures price volatility and the role of“China’s gold demand”is *** financial factors and speculation factors have significant impacts on the international gold futures price volatility,which reflects that the financial property of gold becomes increasingly *** and investors should pay close attention to the financial property of gold futures.

Shape optimization of axisymmetric solids with the finite cell method using a fixed grid

In this work, a design procedure extending the B-spline based finite cell method into shape optimization is developed for axisymmetric solids involving the centrifugal force effect. We first replace the traditional conforming mesh in the finite element method with structured cells that are fixed during the whole design process with a view to avoid the sophisticated re-meshing and eventual mesh ***, B-spline shape functions are further implemented to yield a high-order continuity field along the cell boundary in stress analysis. By means of the implicit description of the shape boundary, stress sensitivity is analytically derived with respect to shape design variables. Finally, we illustrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed protocol by several numerical test cases as well as a whole design procedure carried out on an aeronautic turbine disk.

Volatility forecasting in Chinese nonferrous metals futures market

This paper seeks to model and forecast the Chinese nonferrous metals futures market volatility and allows new insights into the time-varying volatility of realized volatility and leverage effects using high-frequency *** LHAR-CJ model is extended and the empirical research on copper and aluminum futures in Shanghai Futures Exchange suggests the dynamic dependencies and time-varying volatility of realized volatility,which are captured by long memory HAR-GARCH ***,the findings also show the significant weekly leverage effects in Chinese nonferrous metals futures market ***,in-sample and out-of-sample forecasts are investigated,and the results show that the LHAR-CJ-G model,considering time-varyingvolatility of realized volatility and leverage effects,effectively improves the explanatory power as well as out-of sample predictive performance.

Phosphatase and Tensin Homologue Genetic Polymorphisms and their Interactions with Viral Mutations on the Risk of Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Background： Chronic hepatitis B virus （HBV） infection is the major cause of hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC）. Some HBV mutants and dysregulation of phosphatase and tensin homolog （PTEN） may promote the development of HCC synergistically. We aimed to test the effects of PTEN genetic polymorphisms and their interactions with important HBV mutations on the development of HCC in HBV-infected subjects. Methods： Quantitative po[ymerase chain reaction was applied to genotype PTEN polymorphisms （rs1234220, rs2299939, rsl234213） in 1012 healthy controls, 302 natural clearance subjects, and 2011 chronic H BV-infected subjects including 1021 HCC patients. HBV mutations were determined by sequencing. The associations of PTEN polymorphisms and their interactions with HBV mutations with HCC risk were assessed using multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results： Rs1234220 C allele was significantly associated with HCC risk compared to healthy controls （adjusted odds ratio [AOR] = 1.35, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1,07-1.69） and HCC-free HBV-infected subjects （AOR = 1.27, 95% CI = 1.01-1 .57）. rsl234220 C allele was significantly associated with increased frequencies of HCC-risk A 1652G, C 1673T, and C 1730G mutations in genotype B H BV-in fected subjects. Rs2299939 GT genotype was inversely associated with HCC risk in HBV-infected patients （AOR 0.75, 95% CI 0.62-0.92）. The interaction of rs2299939 variant genotypes （GT＋TT） with A3054T mutation significantly increased HCC risk （AOR = 2.41, 95% CI = 1.08-5.35）; whereas its interaction with C3116T mutation significantly reduced HCC risk （AOR = 0.34, 95% CI 0.18-0.66）. These significant effects were only evident in males alter stratification. Conclusions： PTEN polymorphisms and their interactions with HBV mutations may contribute to hepatocarcinogenesis in males. The host-virus interactions are important in identifying HBV-infected subjects who are more likely to develop HCC.
