Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor reduces biliary fibrosis and ductular reaction in a mouse model of chronic cholestasis

Background:Biliary atresia is a rare congenital bile duct disease that is the leading cause of liver fibrosis in *** colony-stimulating factor(GCSF)is a potential therapy for hepatocellular diseases,but data on GCSF for cholestatic conditions remain *** and methods:The current study examines the role of GCSF in improving bile duct obstruction in *** doses were administered:10.0 mg/kg/day and 61.5 mg/kg/day,which is the animal equivalent dose of 5.0 mg/kg in *** days(D7)after bile duct ligation(BDL),Swiss mice were treated with phosphate buffered saline or GCSF for 5 *** intrahepatic adaptive response of BDL mice was evaluated on postsurgical days D12,D19,and ***:Treatment with 61.5 mg/kg of GCSF resulted in a significant increase in circulating leukocytes and neutrophils on *** of liver injury,as shown by reduced aspartate aminotransferase levels,increased albumin levels and survival rate,as well as reduced intrahepatic inflammation and hepatic myeloperoxidase expression,downregulated ductular proliferation,periportal fibroblast activation,and fibrosis,enhanced expressions of hepatocyte growth factor,peroxisome proliferator-activated receptoralpha,and ki67,and suppressed expression of cleaved caspase-3 protein,was noted after treatment with 61.5 mg/kg of ***,GCSF treatment was associated with an increased number of intrahepatic cd3-Sca1tc-Kitt bone marrow cells.

Environmental degradation is one of the most debatable topics at international forums and it is considered a prime concern for the entire ***,researchers and policymakers have turned their attention from conventional economic growth to green *** the existing literature has discussed several determinants of green growth,the impact of economic policy uncertainty(EPU),renewable energy consumption(RENE),and institutional quality(IQ)on green growth(GGDP)is relatively ***,this study is the earliest attempt to investigate the impact of EPU,IQ,and RENE on GGDP for emerging seven(E-7)countries from 1996 to *** doing so,we apply panel quantile regression(PQR).The empirical findings delineate that EPU has a negative impact on GGDP,whereas IQ and RENE enhance the GGDP in E-7 *** on the outcomes,this study suggests policy implications for achieving targets of the SDG 07,SDG 08,SDG 13,and SDG *** governments of these countries can achieve higher GGDP by ensuring political stability and reliable macroeconomic policies and through making such flexible policies that can easily control or address unpredictable future economic issues.

An Effective Integrated Machine Learning Framework for Identifying Severity of Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus and Their Experimental Validation

Tomato yellow leaf curl virus(TYLCV)dispersed across different countries,specifically to subtropical regions,associated with more severe *** TYLCV was first isolated in 1931,it has been a menace to tomato industrial production worldwide over the past *** groups were newly isolated from TYLCV-resistant tomatoes in 2022;however,their functions are *** development of machine learning(ML)-based models using characterized sequences and evaluating blind predictions is one of the major challenges in interdisciplinary *** purpose of this study was to develop an integrated computational framework for the accurate identification of symptoms(mild or severe)based on TYLCV sequences(isolated in Korea).For the development of the framework,we first extracted 11 different feature encodings and hybrid features from the training data and then explored 8 different classifiers and developed their respective prediction models by using randomized 10-fold ***,we carried out a systematic evaluation of these 96 developed models and selected the top 90 models,whose predicted class labels were combined and considered as reduced *** the basis of these features,a multilayer perceptron was applied and developed the final prediction model(IML-TYLCVs).We conducted blind prediction on 3 groups using IML-TYLCVs,and the results indicated that 2 groups were severe and 1 group was ***,we confirmed the prediction with virus-challenging experiments of tomato plant phenotypes using infectious clones from 3 *** virologists and plant breeding professionals can access the user-friendly online IML-TYLCVs web server at https://***/IML-TYLCVs,which can guide them in developing new protection strategies for newly emerging viruses.

Longitudinal Flight Dynamic Analysis on Vertical Takeoff of a Tailless Flapping-Wing Micro Air Vehicle

this paper first analyzed the longitudinal dynamic behavior during vertical takeoff without control of a Flapping-Wing Micro Air Vehicle （FW-MAV）. The standard linear flight dynamics based on small disturbances from trim condition was not applicable for our analysis because the initial flight condition, which was at rest on the ground, could be such a large disturbance from the trim condition that the linearization is invalid. Therefore, we derived linearized Equations of Motion （EoM） which can treat an untrimmed flight condition as a reference for disturbances. The Computational Fluid Dynamic （CFD） software ANSYS Fluent was used to compute the aerodynamic forces and pitching moments. Three flight modes were found： a fast subsidence mode, a slow subsidence mode and a divergence oscil- latory mode. Due to divergence oscillatory mode, the deviation from the reference flight grew with time; the FW-MAV tumbled without control. The simulation showed for the first 0.5 second after leaving the ground （the time that is long enough for delay of feedback control）, the FW-MAV flew up to a height of 6 cm with small horizontal and pitching motion, which is close to a vertical flight.

Comparison of Aerodynamic Forces and Moments Calculated by Three-dimensional Unsteady Blade Element Theory and Computational Fluid Dynamics

In previous work, we modified blade element theory by implementing three-dimensional wing kinematics and modeled the unsteady aerodynamic effects by adding the added mass and rotational forces. this method is referred to as Unsteady Blade Element Theory （UBET）. A comparison between UBET and Computational Fluid Dynamics （CFD） for flapping wings with high flapping frequencies （〉30 Hz） could not be found in literature survey. In this paper, UBET that considers the movement of pressure center in pitching-moment estimation was validated using the CFD method. We investigated three three-dimensional （3D） wing kinematics that produce negative, zero, and positive aerodynamic pitching moments. For all cases, the instantaneous aerodynamic forces and pitching moments estimated via UBET and CFD showed similar trends. The differences in average vertical forces and pitching moments about the center of gravity were about 10% and 12%, respectively. Therefore, UBET is proven to reasonably estimate the aerodynamic forces and pitching moment for flight dynamic study of FW-MAV. However, the differences in average wing drags and pitching moments about the feather axis were more than 20%. Since study of aerodynamic power requires reasonable estimation of wing drag and pitching moment about the feather axis, UBET needs further im- provement for hilzher accuracy.

Optimal Wing Rotation Angle by the Unsteady Blade Element Theory for Maximum Translational Force Generation in Insect-mimicking Flapping-wing Micro Air Vehicle

this paper provides a parametric study to obtain the optimal wing rotation angle for the generation of maximum transla- tional force in an insect-mimicking Flapping-Wing Micro Air Vehicle （FWMAV） during hovering. The blade element theory and momentum theory were combined to obtain the equation from which the translational aerodynamic force could be esti- mated. this equation was converted into a non-dimensional form, so that the effect of normalized parameters on the thrust coefficient could be analyzed. The research showed that the thrust coefficient for a given wing section depends on two factors, the rotation angle of the wing section and the ratio of the chord to the travel distance of the wing section in one flapping cycle. For each ratio that we investigated, we could arrive at an optimal rotation angle corresponding to a maximum thrust coefficient. this study may be able to provide guidance for the FWMAV design.

Purpose-Artificial neural network(ANN)is considered a good solution for building non-linear relationship between input and output parameters,which is suitable for solving production back allocation,which is the most important step for production planning of petroleum *** purpose of this paper is to suggest a solution for solving production back allocation problem at Samarang petrol mine based on ANN ***/methodology/approach-In this study,well operational parameters’surveillance was conducted and ANN was used to build relationships between operation parameters and production *** method is used for testing and evaluating the possibility of using ANN for supporting production planning at Samarang ***-Consequently,the proposed ANN solution can increase the accuracy of predicted values and could be used for supporting production planning at Samarang *** ANN uses well test data for training and predicting(without adding new devices),it could be a feasible and cheap *** limitations/implications-There is a need for applying other methods,such as:support machine vector,non-linear autoregressive models,*** better evaluation of ANN *** implications-The ANN models helped operation engineers to understand well production performance and make decision to improve production plan in timely *** solution could be generalized for the whole mine or to similar petroleum mines in ***/value-this paper aims to propose a solution based on ANN for solving production back allocation problem of petroleum *** solution is tested at Samarang mine.

Study on Extraction and Conversion Annatto （Bixa orellana L.） Color into Norbixin to Prepare Food Grade Water-Soluble Norbixin Powder

Response surface methodology was used in this research to optimize the technical parameters of the extraction and conversion color compound in armatto seeds into norbixin. Parameters affected the extraction efficiency and norbixin recovery yield were solvent concentration, rate of solvent/seed, incubation time, and incubation temperature. The optimization results including： concentration of ethanol is 51.82°; concentration of NaOH is 0.52 M; ratio of solvent/seed is 7.1/1; incubation time is 33.12 minutes, incubation temperature is 58.6℃, and the rate of 36% HCl/color solution is 0.5/5 （v/v）.

Designing Software to Analyze Sewing Process of Industrial Knitted Products

In the textile industry,garment manufacturing contains four major pro-cesses containing cutting,sewing,ﬁnishing,and *** is the most crucial and intricate section,dealing with a large number of varied operations.A successful sewing process needs to be optimized regarding different factors,including time,sewing equipment,and skilled *** lineﬂow is combined by a set of operations with a particular *** utmost impor-tance of all garment industry is to arrange the workstations to minimize the num-ber of employees in order to produce at the best productive rate with the most reasonable cost,shortest time,and satisfying *** most garment factories,the production lines are balanced using the empirical judgment of the line *** the whole process the data of production time at each step,labor pro-ductivity,proper choices of equipment were always needed to calculate line efﬁ*** far as the issue is concerned,there has not been an academically sewing process analyzing software providing adequate data of sewing motions and sewing time as the credible input for the line balancing *** this goal,this paper presents the results of research on optimizing academically self-built software to analyze the sewing process of knitted products applied to industrial production using Java programming language on Google *** results achieved by the software are not only to analyze sewing products and the technological sewing process,calculate the sewing time on the machine but also analyze the sewing activities of workers into manipulations,movements,and motions to calculate the preparation time for two typical knitted products,namely,Polo-Shirt and T-Shirt with the case studies at General Textile Garment Joint Stock Company Hanoi and Star Fashion Company Limited.

Effect of Wing Kinematics Modulation on Aerodynamic Force Generation in Hovering Insect-mimicking Flapping-wing Micro Air Vehicle

We investigated the effect of wing kinematics modulation, which was achieved by adjusting the location of trailing-edge constraint at the wing-root, i.e., by adjusting the wing-root offset, on the generation of aerodynamic forces in a hovering in- sect-mimicking Flapping-Wing Micro Air Vehicle （FW-MAV） by numerical and experimental studies. Three-dimensional wing kinematics measured using three synchronized high-speed cameras revealed a clear difference in the wing rotation angle of a wing section for different wing-root offsets. The extrapolated wing kinematics were in good agreement with the measured ones for various wing-root offsets. The Unsteady Blade Element Theory （UBET） was used to estimate the forces generated by the flapping wings and validated by comparison with results of measurements performed using a load cell. Although the thrust produced by a flapping wing with a wing-root offset of 0.20 c was about 4% less, its force-to-input-power ratio was about 30% and 10% higher than those with the offsets of 0.10 c and 0.15 c, respectively. this result could be explained by analyzing the effective Angle of Attack （AoA） and the force components computed by the UBET. Thus, a flapping wing with a wing-root offset of 0.20 c can be regarded as an optimal twist configuration for the development of the FW-MAV.
