Cordycepin(3′-deoxyadenosine) from Cordyceps militaris has been reported to have anti-tumor effects. However, the molecular target and mechanism underlying cordycepin impeding pancreatic cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo remain vague. In this study, we reported functional target molecule of cordycepin which inhibited pancreatic cancer cells growth in vitro and in *** was confirmed to induce apoptosis by activating caspase-3, caspase-9 and cytochrome c. Further studies suggested that MAPK pathway was blocked by cordycepin via inhibiting the expression of Ras and the phosphorylation of Erk. Moreover, cordycepin caused S-phase arrest and DNA damage associated with activating Chk2(checkpoint kinase 2) pathway and downregulating cyclin A2 and CDK2 phosphorylation. Very interestingly, we showed that cordycepin could bind to FGFR2(KD = 7.77 × 10-9) very potently to inhibit pancreatic cancer cells growth by blocking Ras/Er K pathway. These results suggest that cordycepin could potentially be a leading compound which targeted FGFR2 to inhibit pancreatic cells growth by inducing cell apoptosis and causing cell cycle arrest via blocking FGFR/Ras/ERK signaling for anti-pancreatic cancer new drug development.

The frictional rupture mechanisms of rock discontinuities considering the dynamic load disturbance still remain *** paper investigates the transitional behaviors of slip events happened on a planar granite fracture under cyclic normal stress with diferent oscillation *** experimental results show that the activations of fast slips always correlate with unloading of normal ***,the intensive normal stress oscillation can weaken the shear strength which is recoverable when the normal stress return to *** rupture patterns are quantifed by stress drop,slip length and slip *** the efect of small oscillation amplitudes,the slip events show chaotic shapes,compared to the regular and predictable style under constant normal *** the amplitude is large enough,the big and small slip events emerge alternately,showing a compound slip *** amplitude of the cyclic normal stress also widens the interval diferences of the slip *** work provides experimental supports for a convincible link between the dynamic stress disturbance and the slip behavior of rock fractures.

It is a challenge to reduce the dielectric loss and increase the tunability of pure barium strontium titanate(BST)films for microwave tunable application because these two properties change ***,a novel composite of strontium titanate(ST)and potassium-doped BST(KBST)has been designed as ST/KBST/ST sandwich-type film with various ST and KBST layers.X-ray diffraction patterns show that the film exhibits cubic perovskite polycrystalline structure composed of BST and ST phase,mainly grow along(110)crystal plane with average grain size of less than 20 nm and decreasing BST phase/ST phase ratio with increasing film *** electron microscope shows that no interfacial layer can be observed,indicating that ST and KBST are fully *** dielectric loss and high tunability at-10-10 V and stable and excellent dielectric properties at 1 GHz are achieved,meeting the needs of microwave tunable application at high *** surface structures are also studied by other analysis methods,and ST/MgBST/ST sandwich-type film is compared.

Based on Newton’s second law and the thermal network method,a mechanical thermal coupling model of the bearing rotor system of high-speed trains is established to study the interaction between the bearing vibration and *** influence of lubrication on the vibration and temperature characteristics of the system is considered in the model,and the real-time relationship between them is built up by using the transient temperature field *** considering the lubrication,the bearing outer ring vibration acceleration and node temperature considering grease are lower,which shows the necessity of adding the lubrication *** corresponding experiments for characteristics of vibration and temperature of the model are respectively *** the envelope spectrum obtained from the simulation signal and the experimental signal,the frequency values corresponding to the peaks are close to the theoretical calculation results,and the error is very *** the three stages of the temperature characteristic experiment,the node temperature change of the simulation model is consistent with the *** good agreement between simulation and experiments proves the effectiveness of the *** studying the influence of the bearing angular and fault size on the system node temperature,as well as the change law of bearing lubrication characteristics and temperature,it is found that the worse the working condition is,the higher the temperature *** the ambient temperature is low,the viscosity of grease increases,and the oil film becomes thicker,which increases the sliding probability of the rolling element,thus affecting the normal operation of the bearing,which explains the phenomenon of frequent bearing faults of high-speed trains in the low-temperature area of Northeast *** analysis shows that faults often occur in the early stage of train operation in the low-temperature environment.

We propose an extended BCS–Hubbard model and investigate its ground state phase diagram in an external magnetic *** mapping the model onto a model of spinless fermions coupled with conserving Z_(2) variables which are mimicked by pseudospins,the model is shown to be exactly solvable along the symmetric lines for an arbitrary on-site Hubbard interaction on the bipartite *** the zero field limit,the ground states exhibit an antiferromagnetic order of *** the large field limit,on the other hand,the pseudospins are fully polarized *** the increase of the applied field,a first-order phase transition occurs between these kinds of phases when the on-site Coulomb interaction is less than a critical value U(c).Above this critical U_(c),a novel intermediate phase emerges between the fully polarized and antiferromagnetic *** ground states in this phase are macroscopically degenerate,like in a spin ice,and the corresponding entropy scales linearly with the lattice size at zero temperature.

In this study,single-channel photoplethysmography(PPG)signals were used to estimate the heart rate(HR),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),and systolic blood pressure(SBP).A deep learning model was proposed using a long-term recurrent convolutional network(LRCN)modified from a deep learning algorithm,the convolutional neural network model of the modified inception deep learning module,and a long short-term memory network(LSTM)to improve the model’s accuracy of BP and HR *** PPG data of 1,551 patients were obtained from the University of California Irvine Machine Learning *** to design a filter of PPG signals and how to choose the loss functions for deep learning model were also discussed in the ***,the stability of the proposed model was tested using a 10-fold cross-validation,with an MAE±SD of 2.942±5.076 mmHg for SBP,1.747±3.042 mmHg for DBP,and 1.137±2.463 bpm for the *** with its existing counterparts,the model entailed less computational load and was more accurate in estimating SBP,DBP,and *** results established the validity of the model.

Climatic Effects of Air Pollutants over China:A Review

Tropospheric ozone（O3） and aerosols are major air pollutants in the atmosphere. They have also made significant contributions to radiative forcing of climate since preindustrial times. With its rapid economic development, concentrations of air pollutants are relatively high in China; hence, quantifying the role of air pollutants in China in regional climate change is especially important. This review summarizes existing knowledge with regard to impacts of air pollutants on climate change in China and defines critical gaps needed to reduce the associated uncertainties. Measured monthly, seasonal, and annual mean surface-layer concentrations of O3 and aerosols over China are compiled in this work, with the aim to show the magnitude of concentrations of O3 and aerosols over China and to provide datasets for evaluation of model results in future studies. Ground-based and satellite measurements of O3 column burden and aerosol optical properties, as well as model estimates of radiative forcing by tropospheric O3 and aerosols are summarized. We also review regional and global modeling studies that have investigated climate change driven by tropospheric O3and/or aerosols in China; the predicted sign and magnitude of the responses in temperature and precipitation to O3/aerosol forcings are presented. Based on this review, key priorities for future research on the climatic effects of air pollutants in China are highlighted.

Simulated Spatial Distribution and Seasonal Variation of Atmospheric Methane over China:Contributions from Key Sources

We used the global atmospheric chemical transport model,GEOS-Chem,to simulate the spatial distribution and seasonal variation of surface-layer methane （CH4） in 2004,and quantify the impacts of individual domestic sources and foreign transport on CH4 concentrations over *** surface-layer CH4 concentrations over China exhibit maximum concentrations in summer and minimum concentrations in *** annual mean CH4 concentrations range from 1800 ppb over western China to 2300 ppb over the more populated eastern *** emissions were found to have large impacts on CH4 concentrations over China,contributing to about 85％ of the CH4 concentrations over western China and about 80％ of those over eastern *** tagged simulation results showed that coal mining,livestock,and waste are the dominant domestic contributors to CH4 concentrations over China,accounting for 36％,18％,and 16％,respectively,of the annual and national mean increase in CH4 concentration from all domestic *** from rice cultivation were found to make the largest contributions to CH4 concentrations over China in the summer,which is the key factor that leads to the maximum seasonal mean CH4 concentrations in summer.

Magnetic metals （Fe, Co, Ni） and alloys thereof are easily synthesized as nanoparticles, but obtaining highly dispersed graphene-based magnetic nanomaterials remains challenging. Here, three CoNi/graphene nanocomposites （CoNi/GN） are successfully assembled for the first time via a one-pot strategy without templating by manipulating the reaction time and solvents used for the same precursors. Moreover, the reduction of graphene oxide utilizing this method is more effective than that by conventional methods and the alloy particles are firmly embedded on the GN substrate. Compared to n- and p-CoNi/GN nanocomposites, o-CoNi/GN nanocomposites show the best electromagnetic wave absorption properties with the maximum reflection loss of -31.0 dB at 4.9 GHz for a thickness of 4 mm; the effective absorption bandwidth （〈 10.0 dB） is 7.3 GHz （9.5-16.8 GHz） for a thickness of 2 mm. The structures and electromagnetic wave absorption mechanisms of the three composites were also investigated. This research provides a new platform for the development of magnetic alloy nanoparticles in the field of microwave-absorbing devices.
