Microstructure and electrical properties of Sc_2O_3-doped CaCu_3Ti_4O_(12) ceramics

CaCu3Ti4O12 ceramics doped with different contents of Sc203 （mol%, x = 0, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, and 0.20） were prepared by the traditional solid-state reaction method. Scanning electron microscope （SEM） and X-ray diffraction （XRD） were used in the microstructural studies of the specimen, and the electrical properties were inves- tigated. XRD results show that the Sc has no influence on the phase composition. The results from the dielectric measurements show that further increase of Sc doping could decrease the dielectric loss slightly. A high dielectric constant and low dielectric loss can be achieved when the doping concentration is 0.10 mol%.

Single-atom catalysis recently attracts great attentions,however,whether single atom or their nanoparticle(NP)has the advantage in its intrinsic activity remains under heated ***/Al_(2)O_(3) is a widely used catalyst for many catalytic reactions,while the effect of Ag particle size on the actity is seldom investigated due to the great difficulty in synthesizing single atom Ag and Ag clusters/particles with different ***,we firstly prepared an atomically dispersed Ag/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst using a nano-sized y-Al_(2)O_(3) as the support,subsequently obtained a series of Ag/Al_(2)O_(3) catalysts with different Ag particle sizes by H_(2) reducing single-atom Ag/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst at various *** Ag/Al_(2)O_(3) treated at 600℃demonstrated superior CO oxidation performance over single-atom Ag/Al_(2)O_(3) and the Ag/Al_(2)O_(3) treated at 400 and 800℃.Based on experimental data and dpnsity functional theory(DFT)calculation results,we reveal that the larger Ag°particle is beneficial to oxygen activation and improves the valence stability during oxidation reaction,while the aggregation of Ag°particle also accordingly decreases the concentration of surface active sites,hence,there is an optimum Ag0 particle *** findings clearly confirm that Ag0nanoparticle has the advantage over single-atom Ag species in its intrinsic activity for CO oxidation.

In a recent quantum oblivious transfer protocol proposed by Nagy et al., it was proven that attacks based on individual measurements and 2-qubit entanglement can all be defeated. Later we found that 5-body entanglement-based attacks can break the protocol. here we further tighten the security bound, by showing that the protocol is insecure against 4-body entanglement-based attacks, while being immune to 3-body entanglement-based attacks. Also, increasing the number of qubits in the protocol is useless for improving its security.

One possible mechanism suggested for somaclonal variation is the activation of transposable elements. The activation of retrotransposons by stresses and external changes is commonly observed in plants. In previous study, we isolated the reverse transcriptase （RT） gene sequences of Ty 1-copia retrotransposons from tissue culture strawberry （Fragaria x ananassa） plant, but not the transcriptionally active sequence. For further understanding the relationship between retrotransposon and somaclonal varation, in this study, we isolated the transcriptionally active RT gene sequences from strawberry plants subjected to different abiotic stresses. These retrotransposons were activated by spraying strawberry leaves with 2 mmol L^-1 salicylic acid （SA）, 50 mmol L^-1 methyl jasmonate （MeJA）, 50 mmol L^-1 abscisic acid （ABA）, 50 mmol L^-1 2,4- dichlorophenoxyacetic acid （2,4-D） or by inducing callus growth in 2 types of MS media： first medium supplemented with 0.5 mg L^-1 6-benzylaminopurine （6-BA）, 0.5 mg L^-1 gibberellic acid （GA3）, 1.0 mg L^-1 thidiazuron （TDZ）, and 0.1 mg L^-1 2,4-D, and the second medium supplemented with 0.5 mg L^-1 6-BA, 0.5 mg L^-1 GA3, 2.0 mg L^-1 TDZ, and 0.02 mg L^-1 indole butyric acid （1BA）. Analysis of gene sequences of 17 RTs revealed that none of them contained stop codons and/or indels disrupting the reading frame. These different stress-origin transcriptionally active RTs were remarkably similar to each other- FATEXP2-8 and FATEYS9-7 showed 100% sequence identity. Analysis of pylogenetic of these transcriptionally active RTs and the RT sequences from genome showed that there were close phylogenetic relationships of most of the transcriptionally active RTs. The results of this study have contributed to the background information necessary for future studies for evaluating the relationship between retrotransposons and somaclonal variation.

The wavelet analysis technique is a powerful tool and is widely used in broad disciplines of engineering,technology,and *** this work,we present a novel scheme of constructing continuous wavelet functions,in which the wavelet functions are obtained by taking the first derivative of smoothing functions with respect to the scale *** to this wavelet constructing scheme,the inverse transforms are only one-dimensional integrations with respect to the scale parameter,and hence the continuous wavelet transforms(CWTs)constructed in this way are more ready to use than the usual *** then apply the Gaussian-derived wavelet constructed by our scheme to computations of the density power spectrum for dark matter,the velocity power spectrum and the kinetic energy spectrum for baryonic *** computations exhibit the convenience and strength of the *** transforms are very easy to perform,and we believe that the simplicity of our wavelet scheme will make CWTs very useful in practice.

One of the primary goals of space-borne gravitational wave detectors is to detect and analyze extreme-mass-ratio inspirals(EMRIs). This task is particularly challenging because EMRI signals are complex, lengthy, and faint. In this work, we introduce a2-layer convolutional neural network(CNN) approach to detect EMRI signals for space-borne detectors, achieving a true positive rate(TPR) of 96.9% at a 1% false positive rate(FPR) for signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) from 50 to 100. Especially, the key intrinsic parameters of EMRIs such as the mass, spin of the supermassive black hole(SMBH) and the initial eccentricity of the orbit can also be inferred directly by employing a neural network. The mass and spin of the SMBH can be determined at 99% and 92% respectively. This will greatly reduce the parameter spaces and computing cost for the following Bayesian parameter *** model also has a low dependency on the accuracy of the waveform model. This study underscores the potential of deep learning methods in EMRI data analysis, enabling the rapid detection of EMRI signals and efficient parameter estimation.

Photocaged prodrug under NIR light-triggering with dual-channel fluorescence: in vivo real-time tracking for precise drug delivery

Light-triggered drug delivery system is an effective strategy for precise diagnosis and therapy in cancer treatment. However, it suffers from difficultly balancing the dosimetry of drug with light dose and a lack of in vivo models for validating their clinical benefits. here we report an unprecedented near-infrared(NIR) light photocaged cyanine-based prodrug Cy-CPT-Biotin with dual-channel fluorescence mode, enabling NIR light to precisely regulate where, when and how the intact and active prodrugs are delivered. The synergy of photochemical reaction and modulation in π-conjugated polyene backbone of cyanine can fully perform distinct dual-channel fluorescence changes in a NIR light-mediated manner. The prodrug has striking characteristics of excellent tumor-targeting ability, real-time monitoring of the in vivo behaviors by dual-channel mode and NIR-light triggering,especially for achieving fine regulation and on-demand drug release in the precise dosimetry of drug with light dose in living animals. This optical orthogonality strategy that conjuncts with NIR light-triggered and dual-channel fluorescence in vivo imaging provides a powerful tool for in vivo real-time tracking and finely tuning the prodrug release for precise drug delivery.
