Road traffic is the main factor causing the decline in amphibian populations worldwide. The proper design of an amphibian tunnel is one of the most efficient measures to mitigate the negative impacts of road traffic on amphibians. However, no study has investigated the effectiveness of amphibian tunnels under semi-controlled conditions in Asian amphibians. Here, we selected two representative amphibian species, the Chinese brown frog, Rana chensinensis, and the Asiatic toad, Bufo gargarizans, which suffer the most severe road mortality along the roads in Northeast China. We placed experimental arrays of culverts of various sizes(diameters of 1.5, 1, and 0.5 m for circular culverts; side lengths of 1.5, 1, and 0.5 m for box culverts), and substrate type(soil, concrete, and metal) to examine the preferences of both species during the migratory season between May and September in 2016 and 2017. The results revealed that the Chinese brown frog preferred mid-and large-sized culverts as well as soil culverts. We concluded that culverts with a side length ≥ 1 m, lined with soil, and accompanied by a ≥ 0.4 m high guide drift fence and ≤ 45° gradient on the roadside ditch wall would best facilitate road crossings for both species and likely for other amphibian species in Northeast China.

This study was aimed to design the first dual-target small-molecule inhibitor co-targeting poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase-1(PARP1)and bromodomain containing protein 4(BRD4),which had important cross relation in the global network of breast cancer,reflecting the synthetic lethal effect.A series of new BRD4 and PARP1 dual-target inhibitors were discovered and synthesized by fragmentbased combinatorial screening and activity assays that together led to the chemical *** these compounds,19 d was selected and exhibited micromole enzymatic potencies against BRD4 and PARP1,*** 19 d was further shown to efficiently modulate the expression of BRD4 and ***,compound 19 d was found to induce breast cancer cell apoptosis and stimulate cell cycle arrest at G1 *** pharmacokinetic studies,compound 19 d showed its antitumor activity in breast cancer susceptibility gene 1/2(BRCA1/2)wild-type MDA-MB-468 and MCF-7 xenograft models without apparent toxicity and loss of body *** results together demonstrated that a highly potent dual-targeted inhibitor was successfully synthesized and indicated that co-targeting of BRD4 and PARP1 based on the concept of synthetic lethality would be a promising therapeutic strategy for breast cancer.

自加筋土出现以来,由面板、筋材、填土组成的加筋土挡墙被广泛研究并应于道路、铁路等土建工程中。填土的压实对加筋土挡墙的变形、土压力及筋材拉力等影响显著。为研究填土相对密实度对加筋土挡墙的影响,进行了3组不同相对密实度的离心模型试验,通过试验数据分析得到以下结论:相对密实度越大,墙体变形越小,特别是加载期变形量;压实可增大面板附近土体约束,使水平土压力大于设计值;试验挡墙设计较保守,筋材填土界面摩擦系数小于设计值;筋材面板之间连接拉力分析表明,连接拉力实测值小于测试土压力。

The South Mid-Atlantic Ridge(SMAR)19°S segment,approximately located along the line of Saint Helena volcanic chain(created by Saint Helena mantle plume),is an ideal place to investigate the issue whether the ridgehotpot interaction process affected the whole *** this study,we present major and trace elemental compositions and Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic ratios of twenty fresh lava samples concentrated in a relatively small area in the SMAR 19°S *** oxides compositions show that all samples are *** contents of compatible trace elements(e.g.,Ni=239-594 ppm and Cr=456-1010 ppm)and low Fe/Mn(54-67)and Ce/Yb(0.65-1.5)ratios of these lavas show that their parental magmas are partially melted by a spinel lherzolite mantle *** software PRIMELT3,this study obtained mantle potential temperatures(Tp)beneath the segment of1321-1348℃,which is lower relative to those ridges influenced by mantle *** asthenospheric mantle beneath the SMAR 19°S segment starts melting at a depth of^63 km and ceases melting at^43 km with a final melting temperature of^1265℃.The extent of partial melting is up to 16%-17.6%with an average adiabatic decompression value of 2.6%/*** correlations of major oxides(CaO/Al2 O3)and trace elements(Cr,Co,V)with MgO and Zr show that the parental magma experienced olivine and plagioclase fractional crystallization during its ascent to the surface.87Sr/86Sr(0.702398-0.702996),143 Nd/144 Nd(0.513017-0.513177)and 206Pb/204Pb(18.444-19.477)ratios of these lavas indicate the mantle source beneath the SMAR 19°S segment is composed of a three-component mixture of depleted MORB mantle,PREMA mantle,and HIMU mantle *** simple,binary mixing results among components from plume-free SMAR MORB,Saint Helena plume and Tristan plume show that asthenospheric mantle beneath the SMAR 19°S segment may be polluted by both Saint Helena and Tristan plume enriched *** abovementioned mantle potential temperatures,together with the low Sai

Changes of Oxidative Stress and Soluble Sugar in Anthers Involve in Rice Pollen Abortion Under Drought Stress

Two rice maintaining lines with different drought tolerances, viz., Jin 23B （tolerant） and Zhenshan 97B （sensitive）, were used to study the oxidative stress and soluble sugar in rice anthers and pollen viability under drought stress during flowering stage. Higher antioxidant enzyme activities and lower malonaldehyde （MDA） content in rice anthers were observed in Jin 23B than in Zhenshan 97B under drought stress. Further, a great increase in the content of soluble sugar in rice anthers of Jin 23B was observed across the whole drought exposure, while Zhenshan 97B showed significant decrease in soluble sugar during 9-12 d after drought stress （DADS）. Accordingly, a marked decline of pollen fertility and activity, pollen numbers in an anther and pollen numbers on a stigma was observed in Zhenshan 97B, whereas little difference was found in Jin 23B. Thus, we suggest that pollen abortion caused by drought stress may be related with the reciprocity between oxidative stress and soluble sugar content in rice anthers.

对GB 9985—2000中内标法测定餐具洗涤剂中甲醇含量的方法进行了改进,并比较了内标法和外标法在测定洗涤剂中甲醇含量的差异。通过向洗涤剂样品中加入异丁醇内标液,用75%乙醇定容到一定体积,经0.45μm针式微孔滤膜过滤,DB-FFAP色谱柱分离,火焰离子化检测器（FID）检测,内标法和外标法分别计算洗涤剂中甲醇的含量。实验得到方法的检出限为0.5 mg/L,内标法和外标法的相对标准偏差（RSD）分别为0.4%~0.9%和0.6%~1.2%,平均回收率分别为100%~102%和95%~99%。结果表明,采用内标法和外标法的定量方式获得的结果均能满足检测要求,但内标法的精密度和回收率优于外标法。
