In this paper,we introduce a novel Multi-scale and Auto-tuned Semi-supervised Deep Subspace Clustering(MAS-DSC)algorithm,aimed at addressing the challenges of deep subspace clustering in high-dimensional real-world data,particularly in the field of medical *** deep subspace clustering algorithms,which are mostly unsupervised,are limited in their ability to effectively utilize the inherent prior knowledge in medical *** MAS-DSC algorithm incorporates a semi-supervised learning framework that uses a small amount of labeled data to guide the clustering process,thereby enhancing the discriminative power of the feature ***,the multi-scale feature extraction mechanism is designed to adapt to the complexity of medical imaging data,resulting in more accurate clustering *** address the difficulty of hyperparameter selection in deep subspace clustering,this paper employs a Bayesian optimization algorithm for adaptive tuning of hyperparameters related to subspace clustering,prior knowledge constraints,and model loss *** experiments on standard clustering datasets,including ORL,Coil2.,and Coil100,validate the effectiveness of the MAS-DSC *** results show that with its multi-scale network structure and Bayesian hyperparameter optimization,MAS-DSC achieves excellent clustering results on these ***,tests on a brain tumor dataset demonstrate the robustness of the algorithm and its ability to leverage prior knowledge for efficient feature extraction and enhanced clustering performance within a semi-supervised learning framework.

A 16-bit 18-MSPS flash-assisted SAR ADC with hybrid synchronous and asynchronous control logic

This paper presents a 16-bit,18-MSPS(million samples per second)flash-assisted successive-approximation-register(SAR)analog-to-digital converter(ADC)utilizing hybrid synchronous and asynchronous(HYSAS)timing control logic based on an on-chip delay-locked loop(DLL).The HYSAS scheme can provide a longer settling time for the capacitive digital-to-analog converter(CDAC)than the synchronous and asynchronous SAR ***,the issue of incomplete settling or ringing in the DAC voltage for cases of either on-chip or off-chip reference voltage can be solved to a large *** addition,the fore-ground calibration of the CDAC’s mismatch is performed with a finite-impulse-response bandpass filter(FIR-BPF)based least-mean-square(LMS)algorithm in an off-chip FPGA(field programmable gate array).Fabricated in 40-nm CMOS process,the proto-type ADC achieves 94.02.dB spurious-free dynamic range(SFDR),and 75.98-dB signal-to-noise-and-distortion ratio(SNDR)for a 2.88-MHz input under 18-MSPS sampling rate.

ROS-responsive nanoparticles targeting inflamed colon for synergistic therapy of inflammatory bowel disease via barrier repair and anti-inflammation

The destruction of the intestinal barrier is likely to cause an increase in intestinal permeability and cause pathological *** studies have demonstrated that intestinal barrier function plays an important role in the occurrence and development of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).Oral administration is the most common route for intestinal *** this study,a synergistic strategy is proposed for IBD management through active barrier repair combined with anti-inflammatory treatment,which can interrupt the pathological process of IBD,resulting in the significantly improved efficacy of existing *** on the specific pH values and high reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels in inflammatory sites of IBD,an orally administrated ROS-responsive drug delivery system targeting inflamed colon has been designed,and confirmed in vitro and in *** anti-inflammatory drug dexamethasone acetate(Dex)and the barrier function regulator LY2.4002.are delivered by the synthesized nanocarrier to treat IBD synergistically by inhibiting inflammation and actively repairing the intestinal barrier through tight junctions(TJs).The accumulation of nanocarriers in the inflamed colon and synergistic efficacy has been validated in mice with *** brief,a drug delivery system and a therapeutic strategy for IBD are successfully developed.

Geant4 simulation of fast-electron bremsstrahlung imaging at the HL-3 tokamak

To further research on high-parameter plasma,we plan to develop a two-dimensional hard X-ray(HXR)imaging system at the HL-3 tokamak to measure HXRs with energies ranging from 2. to 300 *** application of an array-structured detector ensures that this system can measure HXR-radiation spectra from the entire plasma cross ***,it is suitable for the study of fast-electron physics,such as radio-frequency wave current drives,fast electrons driving instabilities,and plasma disruptions in fusion *** this study,we develop a simulation for calculating fast-electron bremsstrahlung in the HL-3 tokamak based on the Monte Carlo simulation code Geant4,in which the plasma geometry and forward scattering of fast-electron bremsstrahlung are *** preliminary calculation results indicate that the HXR energy deposi-tion on the detector is symmetrically distributed,even though the plasma distribution is asymmetric owing to the toroidal *** simulation results are helpful in constructing the relationship between the energy deposition on the detector and parameter distribution on the plasma cross section during HL-3 *** is beneficial for the reconstruction of the fast-electron-distribution function and for optimizing the design of the HXR-imaging system.

Process-driven susceptibility assessment of glacial lake outburst debris flow in the Himalayas under climate change

Global warming is causing glaciers to retreat and glacial lakes to expand in the Himalayas,which amplifies the risk of glacial lake outburst debris flows(GLODFs)and poses a significant threat to downstream lives and ***,the complex interplay between GLODF occurrences and associated indicators,coupled with the lack of a comprehensive susceptibility indicator system that considers the entire GLODF process,presents a substantial challenge in assessing GLODF susceptibility in the *** study proposes a process-driven GLODF susceptibility assessment indicator system responding to climate change that considers the complete process of GLODF formation,incorporating relevant parameters about upstream,themselves,and downstream of glacial ***,to mitigate subjective factors associated with traditional evaluation methods,we developed three novel hybrid machine-learning models by integrating classic machine-learning algorithms with the whale optimization algorithm(WOA)to delineate the distribution of GLODF susceptibility in the *** the hybrid models effectively predicted the GLODFs occurrence,with the WOA-SVC model demonstrating the highest prediction *** 34%of the catchments exhibit high and very high susceptibility levels,primarily concentrated along the north and south sides of the Himalayan ridge,particularly in the eastern and central *** capturing the physical formation process of hazards,such as topographic potential(highest relative importance value of 40%),can precisely identify GLODF.A total of 12. catchments pose potential transboundary threats,with 2. classified as having a very high susceptibility level and 2. as having a high susceptibility ***,the border region between China and Nepal is a prominent hotspot for transboundary threats of *** findings can provide valuable clues for disaster prevention,mitigation,and cross-border coordination in the Himalayas.

Tuning the membrane rejection behavior by surface wettability engineering for an effective water-in-oil emulsion separation

Membrane-based separation is a promising technology to eliminate water impurities from the oil ***,it remains a great challenge to separate water from highly emulsified viscous oil owing to the high stability of the water droplets in *** we report a surface wettability engineering on an alumina ceramic membrane to achieve an efficient separation of a water-in-oil(W/O)*** with different carbon chain lengths and fluorinated status were introduced to endow the alumina membrane with different surface *** all the modified membranes exhibited excellent separation of the W/O without Span 80(surfactant),the one with amphiphobic wettability and lowest surface energy failed to separate the Span 80 stabilized W/*** presence of Span 80 reduced the interfacial tension of water droplets,making them easier to deform and penetrate the modified membrane with the lowest surface *** reveals that engineering proper surface wettability is the key to separating the oil and water ***,the modified membranes maintained decent separation performance and stability under long-term run separation of the emulsified W/O.
