Cassava peel has a lot of nutrients which can be utilized as fertilizer in agriculture. However, high cellulose contents may cause difficulty for organic digestion and slow down the nutrient absorption for plants. This study aims to reach the microorganisms or their combination for biodegradating the cassava peel waste. The initial result shows that after 21 days the glucose concentration in all samples was the highest during experiment times. The reducing glucose produced in mg/mL by the selected bacteria was 9.32, higher than the selected fungie of 1.57 mg/mL. The percentage degradation of cassava peel weigh was the highest for fungi which was 52% of weigh, respectively. Meanwhile, bacteria only degradated about 31.6% after 4 weeks. However, the combination between bacteria and fungi provides the highest glucose concentration, 19.29 mg/mL and digests 62% of the mass cassava in experiment. This study suggests that biodegradation of agro-wastes in the environment to reduce biomass waste pollution is very promising.

Injury-induced rapid activation of MAPK signaling in dechorionated eggs and larvae of the silkworm Bombyx mori

Previous study showed that diapause in Bombyx mori eggs can be ter- minated by dechorionation and that activation in the mitogen-activated protein kinase （MAPK）/extracellular signal-regulated kinase （ERK） in dechorionated cultured eggs is involved in diapause termination. In the present study, the possible mechanism underlying activation of ERK upon dechorionation was further investigated. Results showed that me- chanical injury of diapause eggs without medium incubation also resulted in rapid increase in the phospho-ERK levels and that injury increased the phospho-ERK levels at different stages of both diapause eggs and eggs in which diapause initiation was prevented by HC1. Effects of anaerobiosis on dechorionation-stimulated phospho-ERK levels showed that the mechanical injury itself but not the dramatic increase in oxygen uptake upon injury is in- volved in a rapid activation of ERK. Chemical anaerobiosis on dechorionation-stimulated phospho-ERK levels and the in vivo effect of anaerobiosis showed that the supply of oxygen also plays a role in ERK signaling. In addition, injury induced the phosphory- lation of c-jun n-terminal kinases （JnKs） and p38 kinase, components of two parallel MAPK pathways. A kinase assay showed a dramatic increase in .InK kinase activity in egg lysates upon injury. When newly hatched first instar larvae were injured, an increase in the phospho-ERK levels similar to that in dechorionated eggs was observed. From the results, we hypothesize that the injury-induced rapid activation of MAPK signaling, which serves as a natural signal for embryonic development, is related to diapause termination in dechorionated eggs.

Boolean satisfiability （SAT） is a well-known problem in computer science, artificial intelligence, and operations research. This paper focuses on the satisfiability problem of Model RB structure that is similar to graph coloring problems and others. We propose a translation method and three effective complete SAT solving algorithms based on the characterization of Model RB structure. We translate clauses into a graph with exclusive sets and relative sets. In order to reduce search depth, we determine search order using vertex weights and clique in the graph. The results show that our algorithms are much more effective than the best SAT solvers in numerous Model RB benchmarks, especially in those large benchmark instances.

Organic matters（OMs） and their oxidization products often influence the fate and transport of heavy metals in the subsurface aqueous systems through interaction with the mineral surfaces. This study investigates the ethanol（EtO H）-mediated As（Ⅲ） adsorption onto Zn-loaded pinecone（PC） biochar through batch experiments conducted under Box–Behnken design. The effect of EtO H on As（Ⅲ） adsorption mechanism was quantitatively elucidated by fitting the experimental data using artificial neural network and quadratic modeling approaches. The quadratic model could describe the limiting nature of EtO H and pH on As（Ⅲ） adsorption,whereas neural network revealed the stronger influence of Et OH（64.5%） followed by pH（20.75%）and As（Ⅲ） concentration（14.75%） on the adsorption phenomena. Besides, the interaction among process variables indicated that Et OH enhances As（Ⅲ） adsorption over a pH range of2 to 7, possibly due to facilitation of ligand–metal（Zn） binding complexation ***, hybrid response surface model–genetic algorithm（RSM–GA） approach predicted a better optimal solution than RSM, i.e., the adsorptive removal of As（Ⅲ）（10.47 μg/g） is facilitated at 30.22 mg C/L of Et OH with initial As（Ⅲ） concentration of 196.77 μg/L at pH 5.8. The implication of this investigation might help in understanding the application of biochar for removal of various As（Ⅲ） species in the presence of OM.

In this study,we developed a novel optical-flow algorithm for determining the wall shear-stress on the surface of *** algorithm solves the thin-oil-film equation using a numerical scheme that recovers local features neglected by smoothing filters.A variational formulation with a smoothness constraint was applied to extract the global shear-stress *** algorithm was then applied to scalar images generated using direct numerical simulation(DnS)method,which revealed that the errors were smaller than those of conventional *** application of the proposed algorithm to recover the wall shear-stress on a low-aspect-ratio wing and on an axisymmetric boattail model taken as examples in this study showed a strong potential for analysing shear-stress *** to the methods used in previous studies,proposed method reveals more local features of separation line and singular points on object surface.

network-on-chip(noC) communication architectures present promising solutions for scalable communication requests in large system-on-chip(SoC) designs. Intellectual property(IP) core assignment and mapping are two key steps in noC design, significantly affecting the quality of noC systems. Both are nP-hard problems, so it is necessary to apply intelligent algorithms. In this paper, we propose improved intelligent algorithms for noC assignment and mapping to overcome the drawbacks of traditional intelligent algorithms. The aim of our proposed algorithms is to minimize power consumption, time, area, and load balance. This work involves multiple conflicting objectives, so we combine multiple objective optimization with intelligent algorithms. In addition, we design a fault-tolerant routing algorithm and take account of reliability using comprehensive performance indices. The proposed algorithms were implemented on embedded system synthesis benchmarks suite(E3S). Experimental results show the improved algorithms achieve good performance in noC designs, with high reliability.

This paper provides insight into the wing kinematics,the power requirement and the dynamic stability characteristics of a hawkmoth model in vertically ascending *** wing kinematics of the hawkmoth model is obtained based on the minimum required power *** optimization process is conducted using genetic and simplex algorithms that are coupled with an artificial neural network to rapidly predict the aerodynamic force and required *** training data for the neural network are generated from an unsteady vortex-lattice *** to hover,the results in this study show the larger flapping frequency and the smaller rotation amplitude of the hawkmoth wing kinematics in ascending ***,more power is required when the ascending speed *** conducting a dynamic modal analysis based on a cycle-average approach,the certain effect of the ascending speed on the modal structures of the hawkmoth model was observed.

This study demonstrates the influence of the Ag^(+)/PO_(4)^(3-)ratio in precursor solution on the crystal structural formation,morphology,physical properties,and photocatalytic performance of a Ag_(3)PO_(4)photocatalyst that is fabricated,using a facile precipitation method,from AgnO_(3)and na2HPO_(4)·12H_(2)*** material characterizations were carried out using x-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy(EDX),Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET)surface area,Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)absorption,Raman scattering,x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),UV-vis absorption,and photoluminescence(PL).The results show that Ag_(3)PO_(4)crystallizes better when the excess PO_(4)^(3-)content increases,and the lattice parameters decrease slightly,while the crystal diameter and the particle size *** change is also observed in the Raman scattering and FTIR spectra with the increase in the vibration frequency of the[PO_(4)]*** compression of the[PO_(4)]unit was also confirmed in the XPS spectra with the shift of P 2p peaks toward higher binding *** photocatalytic results showed that the samples synthesized from excess PO_(4)^(3-)solution exhibited higher photocatalytic performance compared to the sample with a Ag^(+)/PO_(4)^(3-)ratio of 3:1.A sample prepared from the precursor solution with a Ag^(+)/PO_(4)^(3-)ratio of 3:1.5 was optimal for RhB decomposition under both visible light and natural sunlight,completely decomposing 10 ppm RhB after 15 minutes of xenon lamp irradiation and after 60 minutes under solar light *** is attributed to the high crystallinity,small particle size and low electron–hole recombination rate of the sample.
