Objective:This study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of Astragalus on diabetic foot,as well as the effects on the levels of serum VEGF,bFGF,MMP-2,and inflammatory factors in patients,and to provide a scientific basis for the treatment of diabetic foot with the traditional Chinese medicine ***:By taking 100 cases of diabetic foot patients who were admitted to the metabolic internal medicine division of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and met the criteria of natriuresis during April 2021-April 2023 as the study subjects,and according to the random number method,all patients were divided into the control group and the observation group,with 50 cases in each *** the control group,only basic treatment was carried out,while in the observation group,Astragalus injection was added based on the control *** 8 weeks of treatment,the clinical efficacy,serum VEGF,bFGF,MMP-2,and inflammatory factor levels of the patients in the two groups were compared,***:The total clinical efficiency of patients in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(χ^(2)=5.01,Pnificantly higher than in the control group(Pnificantly lower(Pnically effective in the diabetic foot,which can induce vascular endothelial repair and reduce the level of inflammatory factors,to improve the inflammatory state of patients and promote the restoration of ulcerated wound tissue,which is worth promoting in clinical practice.

Macroalgae dominate nutrient dynamics and function as high-value foods for microbial,meio-and macrofaunal communities in coastal *** of this vital role,it is important to clarify the physiological information associated with environmental changes as it reflects their growth *** evaluate the effects of the changes in salinity and nutrients,the photosynthetic efficiency of a green macroalga Ulva fasciata from the Daya Bay was tested at a range of salinity(i.e.,31 to 10 psu)and nitrogen content(i.e.,5 to 60μmol L^(-1)).The results showed that cellular chlorophyll a(Chl a),carbohydrate and protein contents of *** were increased due to reduced salinity,and were decreased by interactive nitrogen *** a short culture period(i.e.,18 h),the reduced salinity decreased the maximum photosynthetic efficiency(rETRmax and Pmax)derived from the rapid light response curve and photosynthetic oxygen evolution rate versus irradiance curve,respectively,as well as the saturation irradiance(E_(K)).This reducing effect diminished with enlonged cultivation time and reversed to a stimulating effect after 24 h of *** nitrogen enrichment stimulated the rETRmax and Pmax,as well as the E_(K),regardless of salinity,especially within short-term cultivation period(i.e.,ning lowers the photosynthetic efficiency of *** in the short term,which is mitigated by nitrogen enrichment,but stimulates it in the long term,providing insight into how macroalgae thrive in coastal or estuarine waters where salinity and nutrients normally covary strongly.

Dementia is characterized by synaptic and neuronal dysfunction in disease-specific brain regions. Repeated failure of dementia clinical trials with therapeutic drugs targeting abnormal protein aggregates has caused researchers to shift their focus to synaptic functions and increased the importance of clinically available imaging for synaptic density and the development of synapse-targeted intervention. Synaptic density imaging with positron emission tomography (PET) tracer enables non-invasive detection of synaptic loss and hence investigates the association with other neuropathological events exemplified by disease-specific abnormal protein accumulation. Many studies have reviewed the progress of synaptic density imaging;however, to our knowledge, there is no article yet that summarizes the research progress of multimodal imaging of synaptic density tracers combined with other dementia biomarkers. Moreover, synaptic function intervention for dementia therapy has not yet been summarized. In this review, first we detail the progress of synaptic density imaging including tracer development and preclinical/clinical application, followed by a discussion of multimodal imaging of synaptic density tracers combined with classic dementia biomarkers in the clinical research stage. Finally, we briefly summarize the synapse-targeted drugs for dementia therapy. © 2024

The ni-ZnFe_(2)O_(4)(nixZn_(1-x)Fe_(2)O_(4),x=0.4-0.7)spinel was synthesized using Zn2+extracted from electric arc furnace dust(EAFD),nickel chloride hexahydrate,and Fe^(3+)extracted from iron scale as raw *** zinc was selectively extracted from EAFD using CaO roasting followed by NH_(4)Cl solution *** ferric ion was leached from iron scale using HCl solution as acid *** experimental results demonstrate a high level of efficiency in the extraction of zinc,with a rate of 97.5%,and the leaching rate of ferric ion is 96.89%.The composition of the leaching solution is primary zinc and iron with low calcium,which is beneficial to the preparation of spinel *** influence of ni content(x)and calcination temperature on the synthesis and magnetic properties of nixZn_(1-x)Fe_(2)O_(4)compounds was investigated by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,and vibrating sample *** results revealed that both ni content and calcination temperature significantly affect the synthesis and magnetic properties of spinel nixZn_(1-x)Fe_(2)O_(4).Under the conditions of ni content set at x=0.6,calcination temperature of 1100℃,and a duration of 2 h,a spinel nixZn_(1-x)Fe_(2)O_(4)with high saturation magnetization(Ms=65.7 A m2 kg-1)and low coercivity(Hc=0.056 A m^(-1))was obtained.

Retrospective analysis of pathological types and imaging features in pancreatic cancer: A comprehensive study

BACKGROUND Pancreatic cancer remains one of the most lethal malignancies worldwide,with a poor prognosis often attributed to late *** the correlation between pathological type and imaging features is crucial for early detection and appropriate treatment *** To retrospectively analyze the relationship between different pathological types of pancreatic cancer and their corresponding imaging *** We retrospectively analyzed the data of 500 patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer between January 2010 and December 2020 at our *** types were determined by histopathological examination of the surgical spe-cimens or biopsy *** imaging features were assessed using computed tomography,magnetic resonance imaging,and endoscopic *** analyses were performed to identify significant associations between pathological types and specific imaging *** There were 320(64%)cases of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma,75(15%)of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms,50(10%)of neuroendocrine tumors,and 55(11%)of other rare *** imaging features were identified in each pathological *** ductal adenocarcinoma typically presents as a hypodense mass with poorly defined borders on computed tomography,whereas intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms present as characteristic cystic lesions with mural *** tumors often appear as hypervascular lesions in contrast-enhanced *** analysis revealed significant correlations between specific imaging features and pathological types(Pninvasive diagnosis and guide personalized treatment approaches.

The microstructure evolution and bainitic transformation of an Fe-0.19C-4.03Mn-1.48Si steel subjected to near-M_(s)austempering treatment were systematically investigated by combining dilatometer,X-ray diffraction,and electron *** additional austempering treatments with isothermal temperatures above M_(s)were used as *** show that the incubation period for the bainitic transformation occurs when the medium Mn steel is treated with the austempering temperature above M_(s).However,when subjected to near-M_(s)isothermal treatment,the medium Mn steel does not show an incubation period and has the fastest bainitic transformation ***,the largest volume fraction of bainite with a value of 74.7%is obtained on the condition of near-M_(s)austempering treatment after cooling to room *** and microstructure evolution analysis indicates that the elimination of the incubation period and the fastest rate of bainitic transformation are related to the preformed *** advent of preformed martensite allows the specimen to generate more bainite in a limited *** bainitic ferrite nucleation at austenite grain boundaries and through autocatalysis at ferrite/austenite interfaces,a model is established to understand the kinetics of bainite formation and it can describe the nucleation rate of bainitic transformation well when compared to the experimental results.

Influencing Factors and Decoupling Effects of Agricultural Carbon Emissions in the Yangtze River Economic Belt

In the context of the era when new quality productivity is promoting the construction of an agricultural power，sorting out the rising path of agricultural carbon in the Yangtze River Economic Belt and clarifying issues，such as agricultural carbon height and carbon decoupling are important to promoting the "double carbon" process in the agricultural field. A statistical model of agricultural carbon emissions was established to measure the agricultural carbon emissions of 11 provinces（municipalities）in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2000 to 2022. On the basis of clarifying the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics and reduction of agricultural carbon emission intensity，the LMDI model was used to analyze agricultural carbon emissions. Second，we constructed models of decoupling in terms of speed and quantity and explored the decoupling relationship between the most influential factors with the strongest driving effect and agricultural carbon emissions. The results showed that during the study period，the total agricultural carbon emissions in the Yangtze River Economic Belt first increased and then decreased，and the major emission sources were straw burning，grain planting，livestock breeding，and agricultural material input. The level of economic development was the major factor leading to the increase in agricultural carbon emissions. Although the improvement of agricultural production efficiency inhibited the increase in carbon emissions caused by the growth of output value to a certain extent，the total inhibitory effect was lesser than the total promotion effect. From the perspective of double decoupling，the region has not yet reached a stable and strong decoupling state between agricultural carbon emissions and economic income growth of farmers.
