In the context of climate change,the impact of extreme precipitation and its chain effects has intensified in the southeastern coastal region of China,posing a serious threat to the socioeconomic development in the *** study took tropical cyclones–extreme precipitation–flash floods as an example to carry out a risk assessment of flash floods under climate change in the yan.anxi River Basin,southeastern *** obtain the flash flood inundation characteristics through hydrologic–hydrodynamic modeling,the study combined representative concentration pathway(RCP)and shared socioeconomic pathway(SSP)scenarios to examine the change of flash flood risk and used the geographical detector to explore the driving factors behind the *** results show that flash flood risk in the yan.anxi River Basin will significantly increase,and that socioeconomic factors and precipitation are the main driving *** the RCP4.5-SSP2 and RCP8.5-SSP5 scenarios,the risk of flash floods is expected to increase by 88.79%and 95.57%,*** main drivers in the case study area are GDP density(q=0.85),process rainfall(q=0.74),asset density(q=0.68),and population density(q=0.67).The study highlights the influence of socioeconomic factors on the change of flash flood disaster risk in small river *** findings also provide a reference for regional planning and construction of flood control facilities in flash flood-prone areas,which may help to reduce the risk of flash floods.

Finite element(FE) simulation is a powerful tool for investigating the mechanism of machining fiber?reinforced polymer composite(FRP). However in existing FE machining simulation works,the two?dimensional(2 D) progressive damage models only describe material behavior in plane stress,while the three?dimensional(3 D) damage models always assume an instantaneous sti ness reduction pattern. So the chip formation mechanism of FRP under machin?ing is not fully analyzed in general stress state. A 3 D macro?mechanical based FE simulation model was developed for the machining of unidirectional glass fiber reinforced plastic. An energy based 3 D progressive damage model was proposed for damage evolution and continuous sti ness degradation. The damage model was implemented for the Hashin?type criterion and Maximum stress criterion. The influences of the failure criterion and fracture energy dissipa?tion on the simulation results were studied. The simulated chip shapes,cutting forces and sub?surface damages were verified by those obtained in the reference experiment. The simulation results also show consistency with previous 2 D FE models in the reference. The proposed research provides a model for simulating FRP material behavior and the machining process in 3 D stress state.

The increasing electric vehicle(EV) penetration in a distribution network triggers the need for EV charging coordination. This paper firstly proposes a hierarchical EV charging coordination model and an algorithm based on Lagrangian relaxation. A barrier to the implementation of the coordination algorithm is that there usually does not exist a reliable coordinator of charging stations. This paper shows that an unreliable coordinator may collude with some charging stations and behave dishonestly by disobeying the coordination algorithm. Thus, the collusion coalition can gain more profits while lowering the profits of others and the total social welfare. To provide reliable coordination of charging stations, a novel blockchain-based coordination platform via Ethereum is established, including a coordination structure and a smart contract. A mathematical analysis is given to show that the proposed platform can mitigate the collusion behaviors in the coordination. Simulation results show the consequence of collusion and how blockchain can prevent the collusion.

In this paper,the composite inner cooling structures of the rotating blade in the first stage heavy gas turbine were modeled and simulated by coupling heat transfer (CHT).The flow characteristics and heat transfer performances were comparatively analyzed under two operations of the stationary and the rotational *** results show that the turbulence intensity,the flow resistance and the heat transfer level of the rotating coolant are significantly increased compared with the stationary state,which is considered to be obtained by the combined effects of the Coriolis force,the centrifugal force and their derived buoyan.y *** is pointed out that the rotation leads to the non-uniform flow of film holes at the leading edge of the pressure surface along blade *** addition,it increases the slope of the limiting streamline,which has a decisive influence on the heat transfer of both the pressure and suction *** paper provides guidance for the design of a rotating composite cooling structure based on the relations between the stationary and rotational conditions.

Differential evolution algorithm is used to solve the inverse problem of strain distribution in fiber Bragg grating (FBG). Linear and nonlinear strain profiles are reconstructed based on the reflection spectra. An approximate solution could be obtained within only 50 rounds of evolutions. Numerical examples show good agreements between target strain profiles and reconstructed ones. Online performance analysis illuminates the efficiency and practicality of differential evolution algorithm in solving the inverse problem of FBG.

Mathematical modeling for nanofiltration of ionic liquids(ILs) solutions could assist to understand transfer mechanism and predict experimental values. In this work, modeling by solution-diffusion model for nanofiltration of long-alkyl-chain ILs aqueous solutions was proposed. Molecular simulations were performed to validate the existence of ion cluster in long-alkyl-chain ILs aqueous solution. Based on the results of simulations, parameters used in the solution-diffusion model were modified, such as concentration of ILs and diameter of ion *** modeling process was developed for three long-alkyl-chain ILs aqueous solutions with different concentrations(1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride: [C6 mim]Cl, [C8 mim]Cl, [C10 mim]Cl). The calculated values obtained from modified solution-diffusion model could well match the experimental values.
