The.e.are.various analytical, e.pirical and nume.ical me.hods to calculate.groundwate. inflow into tun- ne.s e.cavate. in rocky me.ia. Analytical me.hods have.be.n wide.y applie. in pre.iction of groundwa- te. inflow to tunne.s due.to the.r simplicity and practical base.the.ry. Inve.tigations show that the.re.l amount of wate. infiltrating into jointe. tunne.s is much le.s than calculate. amount using analytical me.hods and obtaine. re.ults are.ve.y de.e.de.t on tunne.＇s ge.me.ry and e.vironme.tal situations. In this study, using multiple.re.re.sion analysis, a ne. e.pirical mode. for e.timation of groundwate. se.page.into circular tunne.s was introduce.. Our data was acquire. from fie.d surve.s and laboratory analysis of core.sample.. Ne. re.re.sion variable. we.e.de.ine. afte. pe.using single.and two variable. re.ationship be.we.n groundwate. se.page.and othe. variable.. Finally, an appropriate.mode. for e.tima- tion of le.kage.was obtaine. using the.ste.wise.algorithm. Statistics like.R, R2, R2e.and the.histogram of re.idual value. in the.mode. re.re.e.t a good re.utation and fitne.s for this mode. to e.timate.the.groundwate. se.page.into tunne.s. The.ne. e.pe.ime.tal mode. was use. for the.te.t data and re.ults we.e.satisfactory.
