A new one-parameter Chris-Jerry distribution,created by mixing exponential and gamma distributions,is discussed in this article in the presence of incomplete lifetime *** examine a novel generalized progressively hybrid censoring technique that ensures the experiment ends at a predefined period when the model of the test participants has a Chris-Jerry(CJ)*** the indicated censored data is present,Bayes and likelihood estimations are used to explore the CJ parameter and reliability indices,including the hazard rate and reliability *** acquire the estimated asymptotic and credible confidence intervals of each unknown ***,via the squared-error loss,the Bayes’estimators are obtained using gamma *** Bayes estimators cannot be expressed theoretically since the likelihood density is created in a complex manner;nonetheless,Markov-chain Monte Carlo techniques can be used to evaluate *** effectiveness of the investigated estimations is assessed,and some recommendations are given using Monte Carlo ***,an analysis of two engineering applications,such as mechanical equipment and ball bearing data sets,shows the applicability of the proposed approaches that may be used in real-world settings.

Feature Subset Selection(FSS)is an NP-hard problem to remove redundant and irrelevant features particularly from medical data,and it can be effectively addressed by metaheuristic ***,existing binary versions of metaheuristic algorithms have issues with convergence and lack an effective binarization method,resulting in suboptimal solutions that hinder diagnosis and prediction *** paper aims to propose an Improved Binary Quantum-based Avian Navigation Optimizer Algorithm(IBQANA)for FSS in medical data preprocessing to address the suboptimal solutions arising from binary versions of metaheuristic *** proposed IBQANA’s contributions include the Hybrid Binary Operator(HBO)and the Distance-based Binary Search Strategy(DBSS).HBO is designed to convert continuous values into binary solutions,even for values outside the[0,1]range,ensuring accurate binary *** the other hand,DBSS is a two-phase search strategy that enhances the performance of inferior search agents and accelerates *** combining exploration and exploitation phases based on an adaptive probability function,DBSS effectively avoids local *** effectiveness of applying HBO is compared with five transfer function families and thresholding on 12 medical datasets,with feature numbers ranging from 8 to 10,***'s effectiveness is evaluated regarding the accuracy,fitness,and selected features and compared with seven binary metaheuristic ***,IBQANA is utilized to detect *** results reveal that the proposed IBQANA outperforms all comparative algorithms on COVID-19 and 11 other medical *** proposed method presents a promising solution to the FSS problem in medical data preprocessing.

Inulin, an oligosaccharide produced by several plants, has been shown to enhance the viability of probiotic cultures in milk through storage. Jerusalem artichoke ( Helianthus tuberosus L.) is an interested prebiotic because its tuber has risen content of inulin and fructo-oligosaccharides. This study was aimed to: 1) set the effect of Jerusalem artichoke in deferent concentrations (2.5% & 5%) on the growth of probiotic Lb. acidophilus P106 in the bio-yoghurt during cold storage at 5℃ and sensory evaluation of probiotic yoghurts;2) study the effect of feeding with this synbiotic fermented milk on diabetic mice. It could be concluded that the Jerusalem artichoke influenced the growth of Lb. acidophilus P106 and 5% (w/v) Jerusalem artichoke was given the highest growth and sensory evaluation. On the other hand, no serious adverse effects were observed;the reduction of blood glucose was observed at the termination of empirical phase, also, high level (5%) of Jerusalem artichoke led to more reduction of blood glucose, cholesterol levels and total lipids compared with control.

Haptic is the modality that complements traditional multimedia,i.e.,audiovisual,to evolve the next wave of innovation at which the Internet data stream can be exchanged to enable remote skills and control *** will require ultra-low latency and ultra-high reliability to evolve the mobile experience into the era of Digital Twin and Tactile *** the 5th generation of mobile networks is not yet widely deployed,Long-Term Evolution(LTE-A)latency remains much higher than the 1 ms requirement for the Tactile Internet and therefore the Digital *** work investigates an interesting solution based on the incorporation of Software-defined networking(SDN)and Multi-access Mobile Edge Computing(MEC)technologies in an LTE-A network,to deliver future multimedia applications over the Tactile Internet while overcoming the QoS *** network scenarios were designed and simulated using Riverbed modeler and the performance was evaluated using several time-related Key Performance Indicators(KPIs)such as throughput,End-2-End(E2E)delay,and *** best scenario possible is clearly the one integrating MEC and SDN approaches,where the overall delay,jitter,and throughput for haptics-attained 2 ms,0.01 ms,and 1000 packets per *** results obtained give clear evidence that the integration of,both SDN and MEC,in LTE-A indicates performance improvement,and fulfills the standard requirements in terms of the above KPIs,for realizing a Digital Twin/Tactile Internet-based system.

Study Bacteriocin Production and Optimization Using New Isolates of <i>Lactobacillus</i>spp. Isolated from Some Dairy Products under Different Culture Conditions

Lactobacilli belong to the group of lactic acid bacteria (LAB), that have several distinguished abilities such as production of lactic acid, enzymes such as β-Galactosidase and natural antimicrobial substances called bacteriocins. Bacteriocin is a biopreservative agent potential of suppressing growth of some contaminant bacteria in food industry but its commercial availability is limited and costly. The study aimed to select isolates of Lactobacillus spp. potential for producing bacteriocins to suppress the growth of Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 and Bacillus subtilis NCIB3610, and to optimize the process of bacteriocin production. Results obtained in this study showed that L. acidophilus isolate CH1 was selected as the best candidate for bacteriocin among the four isolates that tested. The largest amounts of the bacteriocins were synthesized only in MRS medium was supplemented with K2HPO4 (1.0%), Tween 80 (1%), Beef extract (1%), glucose, cyctein and peptone extract (1%). The optimization of culture conditions for bacteriocin production areas showed that corn steep liquor medium was the best medium for all isolates against Bacillus subtilis while no effect was observed on Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 except when used MRS medium. The optimum conditions for bacteriocin production were pH 6.0, temperature 34?C with 4% Phenyl acetamide showing the greatest growth inhibition areas.

Objective:To investigate the distribution pattern of animal bites in Mirjaveh,Iran from 2015 to ***:The data on animal bites were collected from the Department of Infectious Diseases,the provincial health *** climatic data on precipitation and temperature during the study period were also *** correlation between incidence and temperature,precipitation rate,land type,and altitude was also ***:The results showed that men were more affected by animal bites than women(76.4%,P<0.001),and the highest incidence rate occurred in the age group of 5-19 *** incidence rate of animal bites was found to be correlated with temperature and *** increase in temperature was associated with a rise in the incidence rate of animal *** number of animal bites increased until 2019,possibly due to an increase in the number of dogs in the ***:Targeted interventions should be implemented to reduce the incidence of animal bites,particularly among children,housewives,and *** access to appropriate treatments,increasing public awareness of the hazards of animal bites,and increasing the number of vaccinated dogs in the area are essential strategies to be considered.

BACKGROUND Childhood bronchial asthma(BA)is a chronic inflammatory respiratory *** conditions,including zinc deficiency,can affect such allergic *** To outline the difference in serum zinc levels between asthmatic children and healthy *** A cross-sectional study was carried out at Children’s Hospital,Cairo University,investigating serum zinc levels in children with BA(n=40)and healthy children(n=21).Other markers included serum ferritin,iron,hemoglobin(Hb),and immunoglobulin E(IgE)*** t-tests and Mann-Whinny tests were used for *** Kruskal-Wallis test was applied to compare serum ferritin and IgE levels with regard to asthma ***'s rank correlation was performed to explore the relationship between serum ferritin levels and both iron and Hb levels in asthmatic *** Children with BA had higher levels of zinc,yet the difference was not significant(P=0.115).Serum ferritin and IgE levels were significantly higher in asthmatic children(P=0.006 and 0.001,respectively),yet their levels did not differ significantly by severity(P=0.623 and 0.126,respectively).There was a nonsignificant weak correlation between serum ferritin levels and both serum iron and Hb *** Serum zinc levels do not seem to differ between asthmatic children and healthy *** ferritin levels may be a marker of asthma *** IgE levels are not markers of asthma severity.

A new magnetic nanocomposite chitosan/EDTA/CeZnO(MEC-CeZnO)is synthesized as an efficient and eco-friendly bio-compound for the removal of chromium Cr(VI)metal ions and phenol organic matters from aqueous *** are characterized using field emission scanning electron microscope,energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy,transmission electron microscope,X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,diffuse reflection spectroscopy,and PL *** reduction rate of Cr(VI)ions and phenol degradation is evaluated under various experimental conditions,separately and *** average pore diameter and specific surface of MEC-CeZnO nanocomposite are obtained 50 nm and 210 m^(2)·g^(-1)respectively,which suggest the successful synthesis of the nanocomposite because of the increased surface area and reduced pores in comparison to previous ***,the best Cr(VI)and phenol reduction efficiencies are 98%and 92%at 180 min of retention time,both following the Langmuir-Hinshelwood first-order *** mechanisms of Cr(VI)and phenol removal from aqueous solutions involved Cr(VI)reduction,phenol oxidation,and *** the reusability of MEC-CeZnO showed that both degradation and recovery capacity is stable in 5 cycles.
