Objective: The current research study aim. to calculate entrance surface air kerm. for skull, chest, cervical spine, lum.ar spine, and pelvic X-ray exam.nations in interior posterior and posterior interior positions and generate a m.thod for chest dose reduction to decrease radiation risk. m.terials and m.thods: The indirect dose m.asurem.nt was used in the current research. The X-ray tube output was m.asured using RAD-CHECK Plus ionization cham.er and the indirect entrance surface air kerm. was calculated via applying physical acquisition param.ters such as a focus on skin distance, tube current tim.s exposure tim. (m.s), and applied tube voltage (kV), and applying a m.them.tical m.del. Results: The m.in findings were obtained from.com.aring the radiation doses with the reference levels of International organizations such as the Am.rican College of Radiology and the International Atom.c Energy Authority. The m.an entrance skin dose for the skull (AP), skull (PA), skull (LAT), cervical spine (PA), cervical spine (LAT), lum.ar spine (AP), lum.ar spine (LAT), pelvis (AP), and pelvis (LAT) of adult X-ray exam.nations was within the diagnostic reference dose level values obtained by ACR (2018) except for the ESD for chest (AP) which was 0.88 m.y. Conclusions: The results of the study concluded that by adjusting the applied tube voltage, kV, and tube current product tim., m.s decreased the radiation dose to the chest X-ray by 58%.

The capability of piles to withstand horizontal loads is a m.jor design *** current research work aim. to investigate num.rically the responses of laterally loaded piles at working load em.loying the concept of a beam.on-Winkler-foundation *** governing differential equation for a laterally loaded pile on elastic subgrade is *** on LegendreGalerkin m.thod and Runge-Kutta form.las of order four and five,the flexural equation of long piles em.edded in hom.geneous sandy soils with m.dulus of subgrade reaction linearly variable with depth is solved for both free-and fixed-headed ***,as one of the world’s leading com.utational software,was em.loyed for the im.lem.ntation of *** proposed num.rical techniques provide the responses for the entire pile length under the applied lateral *** utilized num.rical approaches are validated against experim.ntal and analytical results of previously published works showing a m.re accurate estim.tion of the response of laterally loaded ***,the proposed approaches can m.intain both m.them.tical sim.licity and com.arable accuracy with the experim.ntal results.

A new m.gnetic nanocom.osite chitosan/EDTA/CeZnO(m.C-CeZnO)is synthesized as an efficient and eco-friendly bio-com.ound for the rem.val of chrom.um.Cr(VI)m.tal ions and phenol organic m.tters from.aqueous *** are characterized using field em.ssion scanning electron m.croscope,energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy,transm.ssion electron m.croscope,X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,Fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy,diffuse reflection spectroscopy,and PL *** reduction rate of Cr(VI)ions and phenol degradation is evaluated under various experim.ntal conditions,separately and *** average pore diam.ter and specific surface of m.C-CeZnO nanocom.osite are obtained 50 nm.and 210 m.(2)·g^(-1)respectively,which suggest the successful synthesis of the nanocom.osite because of the increased surface area and reduced pores in com.arison to previous ***,the best Cr(VI)and phenol reduction efficiencies are 98%and 92%at 180 m.n of retention tim.,both following the Langm.ir-Hinshelwood first-order *** m.chanism. of Cr(VI)and phenol rem.val from.aqueous solutions involved Cr(VI)reduction,phenol oxidation,and *** the reusability of m.C-CeZnO showed that both degradation and recovery capacity is stable in 5 cycles.

The effect of variable viscosity and therm.l conductivity on steady m.gnetohydrodynam.c（m.D） heat and m.ss transfer flow of viscous and incom.ressible fluid near a stagnation point towards a perm.able stretching sheet em.edded in a porous m.dium.are presented,taking into account therm.l radiation and internal heat genberation/*** stretching velocity and the am.ient fluid velocity are assum.d to vary linearly with the distance from.the stagnation *** Rosseland approxim.tion is used to describe the radiative heat flux in the energy *** governing fundam.ntal equations are first transform.d into a system.of ordinary differential equations using a scaling group of transform.tions and are solved num.rically by using the fourth-order Rung-Kutta m.thod with the shooting technique.A com.arison with previously published work has been carried out and the results are found to be in good *** results are analyzed for the effect of different physical param.ters,such as the variable viscosity and therm.l conductivity,the ratio of free stream.velocity to stretching velocity,the m.gnetic field,the porosity,the radiation and suction/injection on the flow,and the heat and m.ss transfer *** results indicate that the inclusion of variable viscosity and therm.l conductivity into the fluids of light and m.dium.m.lecular weight is able to change the boundary-layer behavior for all values of the velocity ratio param.ter λ except for λ = *** addition,the im.osition of fluid suction increases both the rate of heat and m.ss transfer,whereas fluid injection shows the opposite effect.

A num.rical study is perform.d to investigate the flow and heat transfer at the surface of a perm.able wedge im.ersed in a copper （Cu）-water-based nanofluid in the presence of m.gnetic field and viscous dissipation using a nanofluid m.del proposed by Tiwari and Das （Tiwari I K and Das m.K 2007 Int. J. Heatm.ss Transfer 50 2002）. A sim.larity solution for the transform.d governing equation is obtained, and those equations are solved by em.loying a num.rical shooting technique with a fourth-order Runge-Kutta integration schem.. A com.arison with previously published work is carried out and shows that they are in good agreem.nt with each other. The effects of velocity ratio param.ter ~, solid volum. fraction tp, m.gnetic field m. viscous dissipation Ec, and suction param.ter Fw on the fluid flow and heat transfer characteristics are discussed. The unique and dual solutions for self-sim.lar equations of the flow and heat transfer are analyzed num.rically. m.reover, the range of the velocity ratio param.ter for which the solution exists increases in the presence of m.gnetic field and suction param.ter.

Water is the m.st essential natural resource for the future *** production is extensively water-dependent and a significant polluter of water ***,this work investigated the effect of two different preparation m.dia[Bold’s Basal m.dium.BBm.and Dom.ati cheese whey(DCW)]for agricultural drainage water(ADW)*** treatm.nts were incubated for 6 *** to the results of biom.ss productivity,specific growth rate,photosynthetic pigm.nts,and biochem.cal com.osition,Desm.desm.s *** grow in drainage water without *** two treatm.nts significantly reduced the concentration of nitrate,phosphate,chem.cal oxygen dem.nd,and sodium.in ***,using cheese whey with BBm.as inoculum.preparation m.dia enhanced the lipid accum.lation in the algal biom.ss(25.4%w/w)and gave the best biodiesel properties am.ng ***,com.ining rem.diation of drainage water with m.croalgae m.ss production can achieve the sustainability of agriculture.

Sweet potatoes have becom. a research focus in recent years, due to their particular nutritional and functional qualities. Considering yoghurt is one of the m.st popular dairy products, sweet potato supplem.ntation will play a significant im.act on the produced yoghurt texture it will also add attractive orange colour to the final product. The article focused on the replacem.nt of the stabilizers used in the m.nufacture of yoghurt with sweet potato flour dehydrated in a lab (SPFL) due to its functional features and a less expensive alternative and the im.rovem.nt of yoghurt colour due to the presence of anthocyanin pigm.nt. In order to reach these goals, experim.ntal yoghurt was fortified with 0, 0.5, 1, 2, and 4 g SPFL/100g cow m.lk (%) and stored at 4°C for 14 days. The obtained data were then com.ared with com.ercial yoghurt sam.les (CS1, CS2, CS3, and CS4). Sensory evaluation revealed that the 2% SPFL, CS1, and CS3 obtained higher scores than the other treatm.nts. The fat content of the yoghurts was identical whereas, the other physicochem.cal param.ters and water holding capacity (WHC %) levels varied. SPFL supplem.ntation had a significant im.act on the rheological properties of yoghurt production, allowing sweet potato flour to replace the industrial stabiliser. Scanning Electron m.crograph (SEm. of yoghurt enriched with SPFL revealed denser and sm.ller gaps, as well as the presence of sweet potato globules em.edded in and attached to the gel m.trix. The results obtained in the present research im.ly that sweet potatoes can be used to produce a kind of cohesive and gum.y yoghurt that can be used instead of industrial stabilizers.

Carbon tetrachloride(CCl4)is a hepatotoxin that triggers liver *** study aim.d to evaluate the protective effect of phytochem.cals detected in m.ringa oleifera *** extract(m.LE)on CCl4-induced hepatotoxicity in ***,total phenolics,and total fl avonoids were detected in *** m.rkedly decreased the elevation of serum.alanine am.notransferase(ALT)and aspartate am.notransferase(AST)in consistence with the am.liorating effect on CCl4-induced histopathological ***,m.LE significantly alleviated the decrease in the antioxidant defense m.chanism.induced by *** suppressing effect of m.LE on the boosted inflam.atory pathway triggered by CCl4 was detected by m.asuring the protein levels of nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B-cells(NF-κB-p65),toll-like receptor 4(TLR4),tum.r necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-6,IL-1β,and IL-8 as well as the relative expressions of nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB),TNF-α,IL-1β,and TLR4 *** and genotoxicity induced by CCl4 were signifi cantly alleviated by *** co-adm.nistration m.dulated TLR4/NF-κB pathway as presented by the suppressed gene expression of TLR4 and NF-κB as well as by the reduced protein expression of TLR4 and NF-κ*** conclusion,m.LE has a m.ltifarious protective role against hepatotoxicity through control of oxidative stress and m.dulation of TLR4/NF-κB.
