We describe a new species of Rhacophorus based on two adult specimens collected from hoa Binh Province, northern Vietnam. Rhacophorus hoabinhensis sp. nov. is distinguishable from its congeners on the basis of a combination of the following morphological characters： size small （SVL 31.1-32.5 mm in males）; head slightly longer than wide; vomerine teeth absent; snout short （SNL/SVL 0.16）; dorsal skin smooth; forearm and tarsus with dermal fringes; dermal appendage at vent present; webbing formula on fingers i12/3-12/3ii1-2iii1-1iV and on toes i3/4-1ii1/2- iiii1/2-1iVi-1/2V; dorsal surface grey yellow with brown spots; lower jaw region dark grey, throat, chest and belly cream; anterior and posterior t.ighs, as well as ventral surface of tibia orange. the interspecific uncorrected genetic distances （16S rRNA gene） between the new species from hoa Binh and other analyzed congeners varied from 9.8% to 17.4%. in the phylogenetic analyses, the new species revealed to be a representative of Rhacophorus and was nested wit.in the R. hoanglienensis-orlovi species group.

越南在近年来逐渐成为东南亚极具发展潜力的国家,尽管受新冠肺炎疫情影响增速下滑,但仍是世界上实现经济正增长的国家之一。目前,越南依然是一个中低收入的国家,所以国家的发展还必须依靠朝阳产业的发展。由于政府的资金有限,所以朝阳产业发展的过程中很大程度需要依靠外商直接投资来促进行业的发展。外商直接投资会对国内居民的收入造成影响,而且这种影响在各行业、各地区均存在差异。本文主要研究外商直接投资规模对越南重点行业、重点省份的外资企业的从业人员的收入水平的影响。首先,本文通过越南外商直接投资发展现状、越南六大重点行业发展现状进行阐述,然后通过实证分析研究外商直接投资对越南六大代表行业(电力行业、交通行业、制造业、软件与信息技术服务业行业、建筑行业及房地产行业)的影响。为使得研究更加深入,本文还对越南国六大省份展开实证研究,以六大省份(北部选取河内(H(?)N(?)i),海防(H(?)i Ph(?)ng),北宁(B(?)c ninh)三大省份,南部选取胡志明(H(?)Ch(?)Minh),铜奈((?)ng Nai),平阳(B(?)nh D(?)ng)三大省份)的居民收入水平为样本,研究其是否受到外商直接投资的影响以及该影响的地区差异。结论认为,从行业、地区整体来看,外商直接投资能促进工资收入水平,但结构性差异也是存在的。其中,对于不同行业来说,外商直接投资提高了电力行业、交通行业、软件行业、建筑业的工资收入水平。而制造业的工资收入与外商直接投资呈现反方向变动关系。此外,外商直接投资在房地产行业并不能促进工资收入的提高,二者间无关系。对于越南不同地区来说,南部省份收入水平受到外商直接投资的贡献作用大于北部省份。最后本文得出实证分析的结果,提出具有针对性的政策建议。

Urban flooding has impacted siginficantly on people＇s living： economic development, environmental pollution, etc.. it has been the serious problem of many cities in file world, especially in urban areas in developing count.ies because urbanization is too fast but lack of adaptive management planning and infrastructure. in Vietnam, the big cities, such as HCM （Ho Chi Minh） City, Hanoi, etc. have also been influenced severely by floods. By early 2017, HCM City has 171 flooded sites assigned by the dist.ict level; 40 submergence points assigned by Steering Center of Flooding Control Program, and 9 tidal flooded points. the paper will establish a suitable method for assessing flood vulnerability in HCM City from natural, social and environmental aspects. the results of a case study in Dist.ict 6 show that there are four wards with high vulnerability and 10 wards with average vulnerability.

Assessment of Hydrological Drought Using the Standardized Streamflow index (SSFi): A Case Study of the tien Yen River Basin of Quang ninh Province, Vietnam

Probabilistic assessment of drought plays an important role in providing valuable information for evaluating water resources systems under drought conditions, and bivariate copulas are effective and efficient for the probabilistic assessment of drought based on joint dist.ibutions and/or joint return periods of drought characteristics. in t.is study, hydrological drought events and their characteristics (including duration and severity) in the tien Yen River Basin of Quang ninh province are detected using the Standardized Streamflow index (SSFi). the BB8Copula is selected as the best-fit copula for hydrological drought duration and severity. Joint probabilities and joint return periods of drought duration and severity in the cases “and” and “or” are calculated based on the BB8Copula, which are employed for drought assessment. the results show that the drought events with 1-season or cross-quarter duration were more popular than others;joint probabilities and joint return periods of the detected drought events from 1962 to 2009, ranged from 0.2% to 92.2% and from 0.782 years to 315.414 years, respectively, in the case “and”, and ranged from 3.8% to 99.6% and from 0.724 years to 18.785 years, respectively, in the case “or”.

Ecological and behavioural risk factors of scrub typhus in central Vietnam:a case-control study

Background the risk factors for scrub typhus in Vietnam remain *** typhus caused by Orientia tsutsugamushi often presents as an undifferentiated febrile illness and remains under appreciated due to the limited availability of diagnostic *** tropical rickett.ial illness is increasingly recognized as an important cause of non-malaria acute undifferentiated fever in *** study aimed to investigate behavioural and ecological related risk factors of scrub typhus to prevent t.is potentially life-threatening disease in *** We conducted a clinical hospital-based active surveillance study,and a retrospective residence-enrolment date-age-matched case–control study in Khanh hoa province,Vietnam,from August 2018 to March *** examinations,polymerase chain reaction and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay igM tests were applied to define cases and *** enrolled participants filled out a questionnaire including demographic socio-economic status,personal behaviors/protective equipment,habitat connections,land use,and possible exposure to the *** conditional logistic regression was used to define the scrub typhus associated risk *** We identified 44 confirmed cases and matched them with 152 *** cases and controls,the largest age group was the 41–50 years old and males accounted for 61.4%and 42.8%,*** were similarities in demographic characteristics between the two groups,with the exception of *** factors were significantly associated with acquisition of scrub typhus,including sit.ing/laying directly on household floor[adjusted OR(aOR)=4.9,95%Ci:1.6–15.1,P=0.006],household with poor sanitation/conditions(aOR=7.9,95%Ci:1.9–32.9,P=0.005),workplace environment with risk(aOR=3.0,95%Ci:1.2–7.6,P=0.020),always observing mice around home(aOR=3.7,95%Ci:1.4–9.9,P=0.008),and use of personal protective equipment.in the field(aOR=0.4,95%Ci:0.1–1.1,P=0.076).Conclusions Ecological

We report on the synthesis of Sn-doped hematite nanoparticles(Sn-α-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs)by the hydrothermal *** prepared Sn-α-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs had a highly pure and well crystalline rhombohedral phase with an average particle size of 41.4 *** optical properties of as-synthesizedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs show a higher bandgap energy(2.40-2.57 eV)than that of pure bulkα-Fe_(2)O_(3)(2.1 eV).By doping Sn intoα-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs,the Sn-doped hematite was observed a redshift toward a long wavelength with in-creasing Sn concentration from 0%to 4.0%.the photocatalytic activity of Sn-dopedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs was evaluated by Congo red(CR)dye *** degradation efficiency of CR dye using Sn-α-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs catalyst.is higher than that of pureα-Fe_(2)O_(3) *** highest degradation efficiency of CR dye was 97.8%using 2.5%Sn-dopedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs catalyst under visible-light *** results suggest that the synthesized Sn-dopedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles might be a suitable approach to develop a photocatalytic degradation of toxic inorganic dye in wastewater.
