In vitro administration of beta-hydroxybutyric.ac.d(BHBA;the primary blood k.tone) has inhibitory effec.s on the func.ion of bovine leuk.c.tes. BHBA is a ligand of Hc.R2 and the ac.ivation of these rec.ptors promotes an anti-inflammatory response whic. may be related with immunosuppression observed in transition dairy c.ttle. The objec.ive of this study was to identify and test antagonists for Hc.R2 in bovine immune c.lls c.ltured with *** We observed expression of Hc.R2 at the protein level within lymphoc.tes, monoc.tes, and granuloc.tes. The proportion of c.lls expressing Hc.R2 tended to be greater in mid-lac.ation c.mpared to early lac.ation c.ws;the inc.ease was a result of inc.eased proportion of T and B c.lls expressing Hc.R2. Stimulation of Hc.R2 with niac.n or BHBA promoted c.^(2+) mobilization in neutrophils and mononuc.ear c.lls. Mononuc.ear c.lls treated with BHBA had diminished intrac.llular c.^(2+) responses when Hc.R2 was k.oc.ed down by si RNA silenc.ng, indic.ting c.^(2+) mobilization was mediated by Hc.R2 signaling. Two c.ndidate antagonists for Hc.R2, synthesized from niac.n(NA-1 and NA-5), were tested;monoc.tes and neutrophils pre-treated with NA-1 and NA-5 had reduc.d c.^(2+) mobilization after inc.bation with BHBA. Furthermore, NA-5 but not NA-1 prevented BHBA-assoc.ated reduc.ions in c.c.ic.*** We demonstrated that Hc.R2 is present on bovine leuk.c.tes and has greater expression later in lac.ation. We c.nfirmed that BHBA and niac.n derived Hc.R2 antagonists alter bovine leuk.c.te ac.ivity. Our results demonstrate that both BHBA and niac.n affec. bovine leuk.c.te c.^(2+) mobilization in a Hc.R2-dependent manner.

This study presents a transfer learning approac. for disc.vering potential Mg-based superc.nduc.ors utilizing a c.mprehensive target ***,a large sourc. dataset(Bandgap dataset)c.mprising approximately∼75k.c.mpounds is utilized for pretraining,followed by fine-tuning with a smaller c.itic.l Temperature(T_(c.)dataset c.ntaining∼300 ***,there is a signific.nt improvement in the performanc. of the transfer learning model over the traditional deep learning(DL)model in predic.ing ***,the transfer learning model is applied to predic. the properties of approximately 150k.*** are validated c.mputationally using density func.ional theory(DFT)c.lc.lations based on lattic. dynamic.-related ***,to demonstrate the extended predic.ive c.pability of the transfer learning model for new materials,a pool of virtual c.mpounds derived from prototype c.ystal struc.ures from the Materials Projec.(MP)database is generated.T_(c. predic.ions are obtained for∼3600 virtual c.mpounds,whic. underwent sc.eening for elec.roneutrality and thermodynamic.*** Extra Trees-based model is trained to utilize E_(hull)values to obtain thermodynamic.lly stable materials,employing a dataset c.ntaining Ehull values for approximately 150k.materials for *** with Ehull values exc.eding 5 meV/atom were filtered out,resulting in a refined list of potential Mg-based *** study showc.ses the effec.iveness of transfer learning in predic.ing superc.nduc.ing properties and highlights its potential for ac.elerating the disc.very of Mg-based materials in the field of superc.nduc.ivity.

The sustainability of ric. produc.ion c.ntinues to be a subjec. of unc.rtainty and inquiry attributed to shifts in c.imatic.c.nditions. In light of the impending c.imate c.ange c.isis and the high labor and water c.sts ac.ompanying it, direc.-seeded ric.(DSR) is unquestionably one of the most prac.ic.l solutions. Despite its resourc. and c.imate-friendly advantages, early maturing ric. fac.s weed c.mpetitiveness and seedling establishment c.allenges. Resolving these issues is c.uc.al for promoting its wider adoption among farmers, presenting it as a more effec.ive sustainable ric. c.ltivation method globally. Diverse traditional and c.ntemporary breeding methods are employed to mitigate the limitations of the DSR approac., leveraging advanc.d tec.niques suc. as speed breeding and genome editing. Foc.sing on k.y traits lik. mesoc.tyl length elongation, early seedling vigor, root system arc.itec.ure, and weed c.mpetitiveness holds promise for transformative improvements in DSR adaptation at a broader sc.le within farming c.mmunities. This review aims to summarize how these features c.ntribute to inc.eased c.op produc.ion in DSR c.nditions and explore the researc. efforts foc.sing on enhanc.ng DSR adaptation through these traits. Emphasizing the pivotal role of these game-c.anging traits in DSR adaptation, our analysis sheds light on their potential transformative impac. and offers valuable insights for advanc.ng DSR prac.ic.s.

In rec.nt years, advanc.s in mic.ofabric.tion tec.nology and tissue engineering have propelled the development of a novel drug sc.eening and disease modelling platform k.own as organoid-on-a-c.ip. This platform integrates organoids and organ-on-a-c.ip tec.nologies, emerging as a promising approac. for in vitro modelling of human organ physiology. Organoid-on-a-c.ip devic.s leverage mic.ofluidic.systems to simulate the physiologic.l mic.oenvironment of spec.fic.organs, offering a more dynamic.and flexible setting that c.n mimic.a more c.mprehensive human biologic.l c.ntext. however, the lac. of func.ional vasc.lature has remained a signific.nt c.allenge in this tec.nology. Vasc.larisation is c.uc.al for the long-term c.lture and in vitro modelling of organoids, holding important implic.tions for drug development and personalised medic.l approac.es. This review provides an overview of researc. progress in developing vasc.larised organoid-on-a-c.ip models, addressing methods for in vitro vasc.larisation and advanc.ments in vasc.larised organoids. Objec.ive:To investigate the effec. of Moringa oleifera leaf extrac. on semen quality parameters in Teressa goat ***:A total of 25 semen samples from six buc.s were selec.ed for the *** of 150×10^(6) were inc.bated in 0,300,500 and 700μg of leaf extrac. as groupⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ,*** stored semen samples were analysed for motility,viability,total sperm abnormalities,plasma membrane,ac.osomal and nuc.ear integrities,seminal plasma intrac.llular enzymes[aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and lac.ate dehydrogenase(LDH)]and total antioxidant c.pac.ty(TAc.and spermatozoa malondialdehyde(MDA)and c.0}lesterol efflux in c.mparison with the c.ntrol group(groupⅠ)for up to 72 ***:Moringa oleifera leaf extrac.(500μg/150×10^(6) spermatozoa)-treated semen had signific.ntly higher motility,viability,plasma membrane,ac.osomal and nuc.ear integrities,and TAc.Pc.ntly lower total sperm abnormalities,AST,ALT,LDH,MDA produc.ion and c.0}lesterol efflux c.mpared to those in other Moringa oleifera leaf extrac. treated(300 or 700μg/150×10^(6) spermatozoa)and c.ntrol groups at different hours of liquid storage(Pc.showed an inc.easing trend and total sperm abnormalities,MDA produc.ion,leak.ge of intra-c.llular enzymes and c.0}lesterol efflux showed a dec.easing trend from group Ⅰto group Ⅲand then an opposite trend from group Ⅲ to group Ⅳ at different hours of liquid ***:Moringa oleifera leaf extrac. 500μg/150×10^(6) spermatozoa c.n be used for liquid semen preservation in Teressa goat at Andaman and Nic.bar Islands.
