The application of Intelligent Internet of Things(IIoT)in constructing distribution station areas strongly supports platform transformation,upgrade,and intelligent *** sensing layer of IIoT comprises the edge convergence layer and the end sensing layer,with the former using intelligent fusion terminals for real-time data collection and ***,the influx of multiple low-voltage in the smart grid raises higher demands for the performance,energy efficiency,and response speed of the substation fusion ***,it brings significant security risks to the entire distribution substation,posing a major challenge to the smart *** response to these challenges,a proposed dynamic and energy-efficient trust measurement scheme for smart grids aims to address these *** scheme begins by establishing a hierarchical trust measurement model,elucidating the trust relationships among smart IoT *** then incorporates multidimensional measurement factors,encompassing static environmental factors,dynamic behaviors,and energy *** comprehensive approach reduces the impact of subjective factors on trust ***,the scheme incorporates a detection process designed for identifying malicious low-voltage end sensing units,ensuring the prompt identification and elimination of any malicious ***,in turn,enhances the security and reliability of the smart grid *** effectiveness of the proposed scheme in pinpointing malicious nodes has been demonstrated through simulation ***,the scheme outperforms established trust metric models in terms of energy efficiency,showcasing its significant contribution to the field.

Maximum product spacing for stress–strength model based on progressive Type-II hybrid censored samples with different cases has been *** paper deals with estimation of the stress strength reliability model R=P(Yel distribution random variables with different shape parameters but having the same scale *** stress–strength reliability model is estimated under progressive Type-II hybrid censoring *** progressive Type-II hybrid censoring schemes were used,Case I:A sample size of stress is the equal sample size of strength,and same time of hybrid censoring,the product of spacing function under progressive Type-II hybrid censoring *** II:The sample size of stress is a different sample size of strength,in which the life-testing experiment with a progressive censoring scheme is terminated at a random time T 2 e0;*** maximum likelihood estimation and maximum product spacing estimation methods under progressive Type-II hybrid censored samples for the stress strength model have been discussed.A comparison study with classical methods as the maximum likelihood estimation method is ***,to compare the performance of various cases,Markov chain Monte Carlo simulation is conducted by using iterative procedures as Newton Raphson or conjugate-gradient ***,two real datasets are analyzed for illustrative purposes,first data for the breaking strengths of jute fiber,and the second data for the waiting times before the service of the customers of two banks.

In-hospital outcome of elderly patients with acute coronary syndromes treated with platelet glycoproteinⅡb/Ⅲa blockers

Background and objective The safety of intravenous glycoproteinⅡb/Ⅲa inhibitors (GPI) in elderly patients admitted with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) has not yet been established. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety of GPI in elderly patients with ACS. Methods Ninety consecutive patients≥70 years of age admitted to a county hospital between 1999-2004 were included. All patients had typical ACS symptoms along with high-risk markers. Results There was no difference in the TIMI risk score between patients who received GPI (n=47) and those who did not (n=43). Patients who received GPI had a lower creatinine clearance (40 cc/min vs. 47cc/min, p= 0.04). Patients who received GPI had a lower incidence of death, reinfarction or major bleeding (19% vs. 4%, p=0.03). There was no significant difference in major bleeding between the 2 groups. None of the patients in either group developed thrombocytopenia. Conclusion This retrospective small study suggests that the use of GPI in a selected group of elderly patients with acute coronary syndrome may be safe. (J Geriatr Cardiol 2005; 2(4):203-205 )

Preparation and Characterization of Sandwich Structured Materials with Interesting Insulation and Fire Resistance

A cellular material in the form of 3-layered sandwich structure material was prepared via sole use of mechanical stirring without any use of a foaming agent,while Tween-80 was employed as a foam stabilizer via a developed in-situ mold *** resulting structure displayed a good appearance with no visual *** 3-layered composition of the sandwish structure,“nonporous resin layer-porous foam layer-nonporous resin layer”,was examined in terms of the microstructure,density&density distribution,pulverization ratio,mechanical strength,insulation and flame retardant *** was indicated from the results that the bonding between the resin layer and foam layer was tight,while the tensile rupture always occurred in the porous ***,the density of the sandwich structure material was symmetrical with“saddle”distribution,and a uniform density for any given *** increase in the density at the interface layer provided a good interpretation for the tensile rupture never occurred at the *** brittleness resistance of the developed material was significantly improved,and the pulverization ratio was sharply decreased from 9.93%to 0.31%.The material acquired a thermal conductivity and limiting oxygen index(LOI)of 0.0241 W/m⋅K and 29.92%,respectively,indicating potential use of such materials broadly in fields of insulation and flame retardancy.

Polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)-based films containing Chinese bayberry tannin(BT)were prepared by cross-linking using glyoxal,glutaraldehyde and dialdehyde starch,*** presence of cross-linkers was evident to promote the transparency and decrease the moisture content of PVA/BT films,while the water solubility stayed almost unchanged in the cross-linked PVA/*** cross-linkers provided promotion of the water vapor per-meability,mechanical property and thermal stability of PVA/BT *** best water vapor barrier capacity was found in case of glutaraldehyde cross-linked PVA/BT film,while the highest tensile strength was encountered in case of glyoxal cross-linked PVA/BT films,compared with the uncross-linked *** scavenging action of the films towards DPPH radical activity was influenced by the nature of each ***,the PVA/AT film cross-linked by glutaraldehyde acquired the lowest radical scavenging activity in a certain time,suggesting that glutaraldehyde decreased the release rate of BT from *** on the experimental data,glutaraldehyde and dialdehyde starch could be more suitable for PVA/BT film preparation since they can promote the intermo-lecular interaction of PVA and BT to a reasonable extent.

Objective:Early treatment of acute ischemia of the heart by performing immediate percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)to restore blood fl ow in patients with the clinical presentation of an acute coronary syndrome and more specifi cally with ST-elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)can save *** study aims to identify the mean time(door to balloon time and fi rst contact to balloon time)to primary PCI for STEMI patients and to assess the percentage of primary PCI and its success rate in ***:A registry study of patients presenting to cardiac centers in Egypt was designed,where patients’basic characteristics,the treatment strategy,and the door to balloon time and the fi rst contact to balloon time were ***:One thousand six hundred fi fty STEMI patients with a mean age of 57 years were included in the *** transfer for primary PCI was the most used treatment strategy,representing 74.6%of all treatment strategies *** door to balloon time and the fi rst contact to balloon time were 50 and 60 minutes,respectively,with a primary PCI success rate of 65.1%.Conclusion:The registry study results showed a marked improvement by implementation of the best treatment strategy with respect to the time factor to achieve a better outcome for STEMI patients in Egypt.

Geochemistry,Petrogenesis and Alteration of Rare-Metal-Bearing Granitoids and Mineralized Silexite of the Al-Ghurayyah Stock,Arabian Shield,Saudi Arabia

New data are presented for the rare-metal bearing A-type granitoids of the AlGhurayyah stock in the northwestern segment of the Arabian Shield, a composite pluton intruding metamorphosed volcano-sedimentary successions of the Silasia Formation. Metals in the granitoids are variably enriched, with up to 1 990 μg/g Zn, 7 680 μg/g Zr, 2 316 μg/g Nb, 232 μg/g Ta, 485 μg/g Hf, 670 μg/g Th, 137 μg/g U and 1 647 μg/g total rare earth elements(REE). The silexite is highly mineralized and yields higher maximum concentrations of several metals than the granitoids, including up to 1 860 μg/g Y, 9 400 μg/g Zr, 878 μg/g Hf, 1 000 μg/g Th, and 2 029 μg/g total REE. The Al-Ghurayyah stock has been assigned to an intraplate setting. Lithospheric delamination led to generation of mantle melts that supplied heat to melt the juvenile crust of the ANS. The fluorine and rare-metal enriched parental magma evolved by fractional crystallization. The quartz-rich silexite, distinct in character from ordinary hydrothermal vein quartz, is inferred to be co-genetic with the granitoids on the basis of their similar REE patterns;it is interpreted as a small volume of residual magma enriched in SiO2, volatiles, and trace metals. Mineralization took place both at the magmatic stage and later during a hydrothermal stage that concentrated these elements to economic grades.

Comparative elemental,mineral and microscopic investigation of sandstone matrix acidizing at HPHT conditions

Matrix acidizing is usually conducted on sandstone reservoirs to increase hydrocarbon *** plays an important role in designing acidizing treatments to enhance the production of oil and gas from sandstone *** most common acid in practice to acidize sandstone formation is mud acid after the pre-flush acid *** main aim of the pre-flush acid stage is to dissolve positive ions like calcium,potassium,sodium,etc,which can cause precipitation reactions during the mud acid *** research is aimed to investigate the reaction mechanism of a new pre-flush acid combination(hydrochloric acid and acetic acid)with sandstone *** flooding experiments were performed to react acid with the core samples(6 in×1.5 in)under high pressure and temperature(HPHT)condi-tions(80℃and 1000 psia).Analytical techniques such as Tescan Integrated Mineral Analysis(TIMA)have been used to illustrate the effect of these acids on sandstone *** analysis showed that the new acid combination was effective in dissolving various minerals(ankerite,magnetite)and cations(calcium,magnesium,sodium,and iron).15%HCl proved to be more effective in the dissolution of different particles from sandstone core *** dissolved 32.8%of the initial number of particles present inside the sample while the dissolving power of 5%CH_(3)COOH:10%HCl is 26.7%.Subsequently,the number of pores increased by the application of 15%HCl is 22%while that by 5%CH_(3)COOH:10%HCl is 21.8%.Density analysis showed that both acid combinations removed heavy particles effectively,whereas 5%CH_(3)COOH:10%HCl proved more efficient in dissolving calcium ions which is very important for pre-flush acidizing.

Intraluminal stenting versus external ligation of Ahmed glaucoma valve in prevention of postoperative hypotony

AIM:To compare intraluminal stenting and external ligation of Ahmed glaucoma valves(AGV)for refractory glaucoma management and postoperative hypotony ***:This randomized prospective blind study included 30 eyes of 25 patients(age range:44-56y)with refractory *** study was conducted from September 2018 to January *** study included two groups,AGV with intraluminal stenting group(n=15 eyes)and AGV with external ligation group(n=15 eyes).Follow-up period was one year *** primary outcome was intraocular pressure(IOP)and its association with the number of postoperative glaucoma ***≤21 mm Hg without medications indicated complete success while IOP≤21 mm Hg with medications indicated qualified success;and IOPely,P=0.024).Postoperative hypotony was more common in the external ligation group(2 cases,13.33%)than in the intraluminal stenting group(1 case,6.67%).CONCLUSION:Application of intraluminal stenting or external ligation during AGV surgery usually prevents postoperative hypotony(transient and persistent)that occurs in conventional AGV surgery.
