Autoimmune pancreatitis(AIP) is a distinct form of chronic pancreatitis that is increasingly being reported. The presentation and clinical image findings of AIP sometimes resemble those of several pancreatic malignancies, but the therapeutic strategy differs appreciably. Therefore, accurate diagnosis is necessary for cases of AIP. To date, AIP is classified into two distinct subtypes from the viewpoints of etiology, serum markers, histology, other organ involvements, and frequency of relapse: type 1 is related to Ig G4(lymphoplasmacytic sclerosing pancreatitis) and type 2 is related to a granulocytic epithelial lesion(idiopathic duct-centric chronic pancreatitis). Both types of AIP are characterized by focal or diffuse pancreatic enlargement accompanied with a narrowing of the main pancreatic duct, and both show dramatic responses to corticosteroid. Unlike type 2, type 1 is characteristically associated with increasing levels of serum Ig G4 and positive serum autoantibodies, abundant infiltration of Ig G4-positive plasmacytes, frequent extrapancreatic lesions, and relapse. These findings have led several countries to propose diagnostic criteria for AIP, which consist of essentially similar diagnostic items; however, several differences exist for each country, mainly due to differences in the definition of AIP and the modalities used to diagnose this disease. An attempt to unite the diagnostic criteria worldwide was made with the publication in 2011 of the international consensus diagnostic criteria for AIP, established at the 2010 Congress of the International Association of Pancreatology(IAP).

Endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)has been proposed as the gold standard in the treatment of early gastric cancer because it facilitates a more accurate histological assessment and reduces the risk of tumor ***,the time course of ESD for large gastric tumors is frequently prolonged because of the tumor size and technical difficulties and typically requires higher doses of sedative and pain-controlling *** or anesthetic drugs such as midazolam or propofol are used during the *** endoscopy of early gastric cancers can often be performed with only moderate *** with midazolam,propofol has a very fast onset of action,short plasma half-life and time to achieve sedation,faster time to recovery and discharge,and results in higher patient *** overall success,maintaining safety and stability not only during the procedure but also subsequently in the recovery room and ward is *** obese patients,it is recommended that the injected dose be based on a calculated standard *** between gastroenterologists,surgeons,and anesthesiologists is imperative for a successful ESD procedure.

The present study examined the importance and performance of streetscapes at a tourism destination in Makassar,Indonesia,from the residents’perspectives using the importance-performance analysis ***,six attributes of the streetscapes in four segments of the old city district were identified and presented to 400 *** participants were then asked to rate the perception and preference of each *** of the attribute values were illustrated in a Cartesian *** indicate notable discrepancies between the perceptions and preferences of the ***,these attributes were inconsistent with their ***,the results showed that each segment should have different priorities for specific attributes to improve the performance of the ***,such data can be used by stakeholders,such as tourism developers and government policymakers,to make appropriate and informed decisions that will improve the attractiveness of this tourism destination and increase the number of visitors.

The presentation,subtype,and macroscopic images of lymphoma vary depending on the site of the tumor within the gastrointestinal *** searched PubMed for publications between January 1,2012 and October 10,2022,and retrieved 130 articles relating to duodenal lymphoma.A further 22 articles were added based on the manual screening of relevant articles,yielding 152 articles for full-text *** most predominant primary duodenal lymphoma was follicular *** this review,we provide an update of the diagnosis and management of representative lymphoma subtypes occurring in the duodenum:Follicular lymphoma,diffuse large B-cell lymphoma,extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue,mantle cell lymphoma,and Tcell lymphomas.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is a primary cancer of the liver that is predominant in developing countries and is responsible for nearly 600000 deaths each year worldwide. Similar to many other tumors, the development of HCC must be understood as a multistep process involving the accumulation of genetic and epigenetic alterations in regulatory genes, leading to the activation of oncogenes and the inactivation or loss of tumor suppressor genes. Extensive research over the past decade has identified a number of molecular biomarkers, including aberrant expression of HCCrelated genes and microRNAs. The challenge facing HCC research and clinical care at this time is to address the heterogeneity and complexity of these genetic and epigenetic alterations and to use this information to direct rational diagnosis and treatment strategies. The multikinase inhibitor sorafenib was the first molecularly targeted drug for HCC to show some extent of survival benefits in patients with advanced tumors. Although the results obtained using sorafenib support the importance of molecular therapies in the treatment of HCC, there is still room for improvement. In addition,no molecular markers for drug sensitivity, recurrence and prognosis are currently clinically available. In this review, we provide an overview of recently published articles addressing HCC-related genes and microRNAs to update what is currently known regarding genetic and epigenetic aspects of the pathogenesis of HCC and propose novel promising candidates for use as diagnostic and therapeutic targets in HCC.

Rowing force of the middle leg of a water strider is one of the important factors affecting water repellency and applications in biomimetics,biomechanics,and ***,many previous studies have been based on estimated leg rowing force and lack some ***,we tried to measure leg rowing force directly by a force *** this article,we report the rowing force of water striders obtained by direct and indirect *** the direct measurement,water striders were set onto a sensor system and the rowing force of a middle leg of the set water striders was directly measured using a bioappropriating probe(BAP),a kind of *** the indirect measurement,water striders were not fixed and the rowing force of locomoting water striders was evaluated by image analysis using a high-speed *** a result,we determined the rowing force by the direct measurement to be 955μN,while the rowing force by the indirect measurement was 493μ*** considered that the indirect measurement might lack some credibility because half the propellant energy was lost in the indirect force measurement due to various other factors.
