A hydrophilic radical polymer, poly(2,2,6,6-teteramethylpiperidinyloxyl-4-yl acrylamide) (PTAm), was synthesized via oxidation of the corresponding precursor polymer, poly(2,2,6,6-teteramethylpiperidine-4-yl acrylamide). Electrochemical properties of the PTAm layer were characterized in three aqueous electrolytes of sodium chloride (NaCl), sodium tetrafluoroborate (NaBF4), and sodium hexafluorophosphate (NaPF6) to optimize its activity as an organic cathode. The counter anion species significantly affected the capacity and the cycle performance of the PTAm layer. The PTAm layer in the presence of BF4? displayed quantitative redox capacity beyond 1 μm layer thickness and maintained the discharging capacity of 110 mAh g-1 (97% vs. the calculated capacity) even after 1000 cycle charging/discharging, which could be ascribed to its appropriate affinity to the aqueous electrolyte without any dissolution into the electrolyte. A totally organic-based rechargeable cell was fabricated using PTAm and poly(N-4,4'-bipyridinium-N-decamethylene dibromide) as the cathode and the anode, respectively, and the aqueous electrolyte of NaBF4. The cell gave a plateau voltage at 1.2 V both on charging and discharging and an excellent charging/discharging cyclability of >2000 with high coulombic efficiency of >95%.

学界对包括风雨激振(RWIV)和干索驰振(DG)在内的斜拉桥拉索的风致振动等的研究已经有相当长的时间。一般来说,我们会应用机械阻尼器或表面处理来抑制振动。特别是已开发出几种表面处理拉索,包括压痕、纵向平行突起、螺旋角和U形开槽。最近又开发了一种带螺旋突起的新型空气动力学稳定拉索,这种拉索已被证明具有与锯齿状拉索相似的低阻力系数,并且可以防止拉索表面形成水线。在本研究中,应用风洞实验对这种拉索在各种来流角度和突起尺寸下的RWIV稳定性进行了研究。发现对于所有测试风角,螺旋突起拉索对于RWIV和DG在空气动力学基础上都能保持稳定,突起尺寸的影响也得到了确认。

This paper proposes a depth measurement error model for consumer depth cameras such as the Microsoft Kinect, and a corresponding calibration method. These devices were originally designed as video game interfaces, and their output depth maps usually lack sufficient accuracy for 3 D *** have been proposed to reduce these depth errors, but they only consider camera-related *** the depth sensors are based on projectorcamera systems, we should also consider projectorrelated causes. Also, previous models require disparity observations, which are usually not output by such sensors, so cannot be employed in practice. We give an alternative error model for projector-camera based consumer depth cameras, based on their depth measurement algorithm, and intrinsic parameters of the camera and the projector; it does not need disparity values. We also give a corresponding new parameter estimation method which simply needs observation of a planar board. Our calibrated error model allows use of a consumer depth sensor as a 3 D measuring *** results show the validity and effectiveness of the error model and calibration procedure.

The adsorption/plasma decomposition with the combination of adsorption honeycomb-sheets and a plasma element is a new technology for small-sized apparatuses to decompose volatile organic compounds （VOCs） at concentrations lower than about 100 ppm. The feasibility of the prototype adsorption/plasma decomposition apparatus was evaluated with the simulated exhausts containing one VOC component and with real exhausts from a painting booth and an adhesion factory. The apparatus decomposed VOCs effectively at the painting booth exhaust but not always satisfactorily at the adhesion factory exhaust. The performance test results with real exhausts were discussed with respect to the concentration and discharge pattern of the exhausts and the basic properties of the system such as cooperation of adsorption and plasma reaction and the concentration dependence of the performance.
