The mental foramen is an important landmark for identifying the mental nerve, and the accessory mental foramen is a rare anatomical variation. This article describes the use of computed tomo- graphy (CT) to detect an accessory mental foramen that was initially misdiagnosed as a radiolu- cent tumour in the right premolar region of a 39-year-old woman by panoramic radiography. The case suggests that preoperative CT should be performed to detect any anatomical variations. This knowledge would help in diagnosis, preoperative planning and prevention of intraoperative nerve or vascular injury.

In this review,advances in the understanding of the controlling factors and physical mechanisms of tropical cyclogenesis(TCG)are summarized from recent(2018–2022)research on TCG,as presented in the Tenth International Workshop on Tropical Cyclones(IWTC-10).Observational,theoretical,and numerical modeling studies published in recent years have advanced our knowledge on the influence of large-scale environmental factors on ***,studies have shown clearly that appropriate convective coupling with tropical equatorial waves enhances the development chances of *** recently,illuminating research has been carried out on analyzing the mechanisms by which oscillations and teleconnections(El Ni˜no Southern Oscillation(ENSO)in particular)modulate TCG globally,in association with changes in the sea surface temperature(SST).In addition to this,recent research has diligently addressed different aspects of *** studies have reported the applicability of unified theories and physical mechanisms of TCG in different ocean ***,research has been carried out on TCG under different flow pattern regimes,dry air intrusion,importance of marsupial pouch,genesis of Medicanes,wind shear,convection and vertical ***,studies have discussed the possibility of near equatorial TCG provided that there is enough supply of background vertical vorticity and relatively low vertical wind *** has been made to understand the role of climate change on global and regional ***,there are still significant gaps which need to be addressed in order to better understand TCG prediction.

There have been numerous single-channel measurements performed in one area of the prefrontal cortex regarding brain activity while driving.[1]The steering action while driving a vehicle is simulated,and the seated subjects move each of their hands in a clockwise and counterclockwise circular motion. Simultaneously,the brain act ivity of the subjects was measured using near infrared spectroscopy(NIRS).Since the optic pathways in the brain process information using two pathways,a ventral(objects’shape and color)and dorsal(movement and position)pathway, which are believed to be integrated in the prefrontal cortex of the frontal lobe,the area we measured was the area in the vicinity of the prefrontal cortex of the frontal *** details regarding the circular movement include holding a mouse at a desk,and drawing a circle with a diameter of about 30 *** circles are drawn at a pace of about one circle every four seconds,with the measurements taken over a durat ion of 20 s(total 5 circles).The measurement intervals consist of a 10-s break, the 20-s task,followed by another 10-s break, repeated over 5 *** subjects used in our study were all right-handed males in their twent ies who had a histor y of driving.

已知两位置交换分子运动速率对于静态13CNMR谱的影响是由一简单代数关系决定，它已成为分析固体中分子运动的常规方法．慢速的魔角旋转可以保留边带，所产生的边带型原则上也可用来分析分子运动，只是缺乏象静态谱那样的简单的关系，以至于在实际应用上是不可行的．本文给出作者所发现的存在分子运动时魔角旋转核磁共振自由诱导衰减信号的解析表达式的理论推导，提供分析固体分子运动的理论谱计算公式．我们选择二甲矾（dimethylsulfone）作为模型化合物，记录其不同温度下13CNMR谱，又计算了两个甲基做两位置交换运动的理论谱．理论谱与实验谱定性一致．定量上，边带强度存在一些差别，但边带宽度符合很好．通过理论谱与实验谱的比较，得到交换速率与温度的对应关系．虽然本文限于化学位移各向异性相互作用两位置交换问题，但容易推广到偶极作用多位置交换问题．

Analysis of Serum Antibody Level after COVID-19 Vaccine and Side Effects after Vaccine

Background: COVID-19 has caused a large number of deaths, in the elderly. In this situation, vaccines have been considered the main strategy to combat COVID-19 and were developed worldwide in 2020. One problem with COVID-19 vaccination is side effects after vaccination. In this report, we identify the relationship between side effects and elevation of antibodies as determined by monitoring several kinds of antibodies against COVID-19. Objective: We investigated whether the antibody level changed depending on side effects after COVID-19 vaccination. Methods: Healthy volunteers, who received two vaccinations between 10 March and 7 May 2021, were collected for this study. Information including age, gender, smoking history, medical history including allergies and side reactions after vaccination was obtained by questionnaire. Serum levels of antibodies of IgG and IgM against each S1, SP, and NP antigens of COVID-19 were evaluated frequently for 3 - 4 months after the first vaccination. Result: Ten employees working at Iwate Medical University were evaluated in this study. Side effects were observed in 7 of 10 patients, and grade 2 side effects in all 3 patients with a history of allergic disease. Serum S1 and SP IgG were elevated sufficiently in all patients. In all patients, IgG antibody titers fell below the cutoff point in approximately 3 months. No cases had elevated NP antibodies. SP IgM was elevated in three cases;all three cases with elevated IgM had allergic disease and the degree of side effects was relatively higher. Subjects with long-lasting elevated SPIgM were observed. Conclusion: S1 IgG and SP IgG exceeded the cutoff in all subjects after vaccination but decreased below the cutoff in all subjects within 4 months, regardless of side effects or allergic history. On the other hand, elevated SPIgM was suspected to be related to side effects and history of allergies, and cases with persistent elevation of SPIgM were observed.

把家蚕脑的粗抽提物注射到去脑的休眠家蚕(Bombyx mori)蛹和蓖麻蚕(Samiacynthia)蛹中均能引起成虫发育。基于这一事实,家蚕的促前胸腺激素(PTTH)长期以来被认为对活化蓖麻蚕的作用是无种的特异性。然而用丙酮分部沉淀、葡聚糖G—50凝胶过滤和用二乙氨乙基(DEAE)——琼脂糖CL—6B层析法将家蚕脑或头部的抽提物进行化学分部处理,可以把活化无脑家蚕蛹与活化无脑蓖麻蚕蛹的分部析离。这些结果揭示了两种具有种属特异性的促前胸腺激素的存在。

BACKGROUND Vibration-controlled transient elastography(VCTE)is proposed as a second step of examination to assess liver fibrosis in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)after triaging by the fibrosis-4(FIB-4)***,VCTEbased scoring systems,including FibroScan-AST(FAST),Agile 3+,and Agile 4,emerged to determine the status of ***,the significance of these scoring systems remains unknown in narrowing the high-risk group of NAFLD patients with comorbidities,including hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and esophagogastric varices(EGV).AIM To clarify the significance of VCTE-based scoring systems to narrow the high-risk group of NAFLD patients with *** We performed a cross-sectional study to investigate the usefulness of VCTE-based scoring systems and other fibrosis markers to narrow the high-risk group of patients with ***-4 index was used for the first *** groups of FAST,Agile 3+,and Agile 4 were stratified according to the published *** the 191 patients with NAFLD,there were 26(14%)and 25 patients(13%)with HCC and EGV,*** When 1.3 was used as a cutoff value,the FIB-4 index narrowed the risk group to 120 patients,in which all patients with HCC and/or EGV were *** risk group of Agile 3+could subsequently narrow the risk *** prevalence of HCC and EGV at this step were 33%(26/80)and 31%(25/80),*** further narrowing of EGV,Agile 4 aggregated the patients with EGV into 43 patients,of whom 23(53%)had *** failed to narrow the risk group of patients with *** 2.6 was used as a cutoff value of the FIB-4 index,three patients with HCC and two patients with EGV were missed at the first *** Agile 3+and Agile 4 are useful to narrow the NAFLD patient group,in which patients may have HCC and/or EGV.
