In current report,the structural,magnetic,and thermoelectric properties of RE doped mgPm_(2)X_(4)(X=S,Se) spinels were *** energy difference in ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic states reveals the stability of mgPm_(2)(S/Se)_(4) in the ferromagnetic *** co mputation of enthalpy of formation also ascertains thermodynamic stability of crystal ***-dependent band structure and density of states analysis reveal ferromagnetic semiconducting character showing different electronic behavior in both spin *** room temperature ferromagnetism,spin polarization and Curie temperature are estimated from exchange energies *** addition,exchange constants(N_(0)α and N_(0)β),exchange energy Δ_(x)(pd),crystal ifeld energy,and double exchange mechanism were studied to explore the magnetic ***,the electrical conductivity,thermal conductivity,Seebeck co-efficient,and power factor show effect on electrons spin and their potential for thermoelectric devices.

In this paper,we present the existence and uniqueness of fixed points and common fixed points for Reich and Chatterjea pairs of self-maps in complete metric ***,we study fixed point theorems for Reich and Chatterjea nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space using the Krasnoselskii-Ishikawa iteration method associated withSλand consider some applications of our results to prove the existence of solutions for nonlinear integral and nonlinear fractional differential *** also establish certain interesting examples to illustrate the usability of our results.

The tumor microenvironment is composed of a complex mixture of different cell types interacting under conditions of nutrient deprivation,but the metabolism therein is not fully understood due to difficulties in measuring metabolic fluxes and exchange of metabolites between different cell types in ***-scale metabolic modeling enables estimation of such exchange fluxes as well as an opportunity to gain insight into the metabolic behavior of individual cell ***,we estimated the availability of nutrients and oxygen within the tumor microenvironment using concentration measurements from blood together with a metabolite diffusion *** addition,we developed an approach to efficiently apply enzyme usage constraints in a comprehensive metabolic model of human *** combined modeling reproduced severe hypoxic conditions and the Warburg effect,and we found that limitations in enzymatic capacity contribute to cancer cells’preferential use of glutamine as a substrate to the citric acid ***,we investigated the common hypothesis that some stromal cells are exploited by cancer cells to produce metabolites useful for the cancer *** identified over 200 potential metabolites that could support collaboration between cancer cells and cancer-associated fibroblasts,but when limiting to metabolites previously identified to participate in such collaboration,no growth advantage was *** work highlights the importance of enzymatic capacity limitations for cell behaviors and exemplifies the utility of enzyme-constrained models for accurate prediction of metabolism in cells and tumor microenvironments.

Undeniably,Deep Learning(DL)has rapidly eroded traditional machine learning in Remote Sensing(RS)and geoscience domains with applications such as scene understanding,material identification,extreme weather detection,oil spill identification,among many *** machine learning algorithms are given less and less attention in the era of big ***,a substantial amount of work aimed at developing image classification approaches based on the DL model’s success in computer *** number of relevant articles has nearly doubled every year since *** in remote sensing technology,as well as the rapidly expanding volume of publicly available satellite imagery on a worldwide scale,have opened up the possibilities for a wide range of modern ***,there are some challenges related to the availability of annotated data,the complex nature of data,and model parameterization,which strongly impact *** this article,a comprehensive review of the literature encompassing a broad spectrum of pioneer work in remote sensing image classification is presented including network architectures(vintage Convolutional Neural Network,CNN;Fully Convolutional Networks,FCN;encoder-decoder,recurrent networks;attention models,and generative adversarial models).The characteristics,capabilities,and limitations of current DL models were examined,and potential research directions were discussed.

Primary non-Hodgkin lymphoma of liver is a very rare malignancy. The disease is poorly understood and few clinical studies have been conducted to help elucidate the natural course of disease, pathogenesis, optimal therapy, response to therapy, and survival. Here, we present an interesting case of primary non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) originating in liver. A literature review of clinical features, diagnosis, and management is also provided.

Background: Screening programs for cervical neoplasm among women in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) are very limited. Objective: To investigate the prevalence and risk factors of cervical epithelial abnormalities among patients attending a health care specialty center (HCSC) of King Abdulaziz medical City, Riyadh, KSA. Design: A questionnaire was developed to collect information about socio-demographic variables followed by cytopathological analysis of Papanicolaou (Pap) smear. Settings: Female patients attending the gynecology clinic in the HCSC for cervical abnormalities during 2006 and 2008 were selected for the study. Subjects and methods: Pap smear was collected and subjected to cytopathological analysis, which was further classified according to the revised Bethesda 2001 system. Information on socio-demographic variables, type and duration of oral contraceptives usage, active or passive smoking, history of sexually transmitted disease, or cervical cancer was collected by trained healthcare professionals. Results were analyzed using chi-square test and t-test. main outcome measures: Lower frequency of cervical lesions among KSA females in comparison with the western countries. Results: A total of 495 Pap smears were studied, out of which 31 Pap smears were found to be unsatisfactory and therefore excluded. Among the remaining Pap smears, 6.5% were found to be abnormal;however, this was not statistically significant. None of the studied socio-demographic factors were found to be significantly correlated with the appearance of abnormal Pap smears, except for passive smoking. Conclusion: Saudi Arabia had a lower frequency of cervical lesions in comparison with the western countries. Further, this study can serve as a pilot study for a larger national screening program for the identification of prevalence and risk factors of cervical lesions in the women of KSA. Background and study aim: Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a chronic liver disease that can lead to progressive liver damage. The prevalence of AIH among the general population and among chronic liver disease (CLD) patients is variable worldwide. Currently, no published data on the prevalence of AIH among Saudi or among liver disease patients from the region. In this study, we aimed to assess the prevalence of AIH among CLD patients who were referred for transient elastography (FibroScan) in Saudi Arabia. Patients and methods: A retrospective study was conducted among CLD patients who had a transient elastography (FibroScan) during the 3-year study period. We obtained demographic data and test results for serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), bilirubin, hemoglobin (Hgb), platelets, and international normalized ratio (INR) from all patients. We compared the results of the AIH patients to those of the non-AIH patients with CLD. In addition, for AIH patients, we measured serum immunoglobulin G (IgG), antinuclear antibody (ANA), smooth muscle antibody (SmA) and ALT at 2 - 6 weeks and at 3 - 4 months. Results: We included 494 patients, who were predominantly female (271 (60%)) and Saudi (299 (60.5%)). Thirty patients (6.1%) had AIH, which represented the 4th most common liver disease. Compared to non-AIH patients, AIH patients were younger (mean ages 49.9 years, SD 14.22 years, and 40.4 years, SD 13.94 years, respectively, P = 0.001). Patients with AIH had significantly lower Hgb and platelets (P = 0.008 for both) and higher ALT, bilirubin and INR (P = 0.05, 0.047 and 0.019, respectively). more than 50% of the AIH patients had cirrhosis.
