Tilapia Lake Virus(TiLV)disease is an emerging and transboundary disease of tilapia cultures,causing mortality up to 90%*** is a negative sense single stranded RNA virus belongs to family Amnoonviridae,genus Tilapinevirus and species Tilapia *** first TiLV outbreak to fishes was reported from Israel followed by other countries viz.,Ecuador,Colombia,Egypt,Thailand,Chinese Taipei,India,Malaysia,Bangladesh,Uganda,Tanzania,Peru,Mexico,Philippines,Indonesia,and *** the life stages of Tilapia(belonging to the family Cichlidae)are vulnerable to TiLV ***,river barb and giant gourami have also been found susceptible to TiLV *** virus infects the vital organs of the fish,including eyes,brain,and *** notable pathological finding of this disease includes syncytial cell formation and massive hepatocellular necrosis with pyknotic and karyolytic nuclei in the liver cells of infected *** disease is very contagious and spreads through both horizontal and vertical *** sensitive and rapid molecular diagnostic tools like reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR),RT-quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR),loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP)have been developed for early detection of the *** date,no comprehensive control measures have been developed throughout the globe,although aggressive work on this line is going *** of strict good management practices,including quarantine protocols,are the only available option to combat the outbreak and spread of the *** review emphasizes the etiology,occurrence and distribution,mode of transmission,pathology and pathogenesis,diagnosis,possible control measures,and challenges of TiLV disease.

The Internet of Things(IoT)will significantly impact our social and economic lives in the near *** Internet of Things(IoT)applications aim to automate multiple tasks so inactive physical objects can behave independently of *** devices,however,are also vulnerable,mostly because they lack the essential built-in security to thwart *** is essential to perform the necessary adjustments in the structure of the IoT systems in order to create an end-to-end secure IoT *** a result,the IoT designs that are now in use do not completely support all of the advancements that have been made to include sophisticated features in IoT,such as Cloud computing,machine learning techniques,and lightweight encryption *** paper presents a detailed analysis of the security requirements,attack surfaces,and security solutions available for IoT networks and suggests an innovative IoT *** Seven-Layer Architecture in IoT provides decent attack detection *** to the level of risk they pose,the security threats in each of these layers have been properly categorized,and the essential evaluation criteria have been developed to evaluate the various ***,Machine Learning algorithms like Random Forest and Support Vector Machines,etc.,and Deep Learning algorithms like Artificial Neural Networks,Q Learning models,etc.,are implemented to overcome the most damaging threats posing security breaches to the different IoT architecture layers.

Design and analysis of high birefringence and nonlinearity with small confinement loss photonic crystal fiber

High birefringence with low confinement loss photonic crystal fiber (PCF) has significant advantages in the field of sensing, dispersion compensation devices, nonlinear applications, and polarization filter. In this report, two different models of PCFs are presented and compared. Both the models contain five air holes rings with combination of circular and elliptical air holes arrangement. Moreover, the elliptical shaped air holes polarization and the third ring air holes rotational angle are varied. To examine different guiding characteristics, finite element method (FEM) with perfectly matched layer (PML) absorbing boundary condition is applied from 1.2 to 1.8 |im wavelength range. High birefringence, low confinement loss, high nonlinearity, and moderate disper-sion values are successfully achieved in both the PCFs models. Numeric analysis shows that model-1 gives higher birefringence (2.75 ×10^-2) and negative dispersion (-540.67 ps/(nm ·km)) at 1.55 |im wavelength. However, model-2 gives more small confinement loss than model-1 at the same wavelength. In addition, the proposed design demonstrates the variation of rotation angle has great impact to enhance guiding properties especially the birefringence.

Study of grain alignment efficiency and a distance estimate for small globule CB4

We study the polarization efficiency（defined as the ratio of polarization to extinction） of stars in the background of the small, nearly spherical and isolated Bok globule CB4 to understand the grain alignment process. A decrease in polarization efficiency with an increase in visual extinction is noticed. This suggests that the observed polarization in lines of sight which intercept a Bok globule tends to show dominance of dust grains in the outer layers of the globule. This finding is consistent with the results obtained for other clouds in the past. We determined the distance to the cloud CB4 using near-infrared photometry（2MASS J H KScolors） of moderately obscured stars located at the periphery of the cloud. From the extinction-distance plot,the distance to this cloud is estimated to be（459 ± 85） pc.

Correlation among extinction efficiency and other parameters in an aggregate dust model

We study the extinction properties of highly porous Ballistic Cluster-Cluster Aggregate dust aggregates in a wide range of complex refractive indices （1.4 ≤ n 〈 2.0, 0.001 ≤ k 〈 1.0） and wavelengths （0.11 μm 〈 A 〈 3.4 μm）. An attempt has been made for the first time to investigate the correlation among extinction efficiency （Qext）, composition of dust aggregates （n, k）, wavelength of radiation （A） and size parameter of the monomers （x）. If k is fixed at any value between 0.001 and 1.0, Qext increases with increase of n from 1.4 to 2.0. Qext and n are correlated via linear regression when the cluster size is small, whereas the correlation is quadratic at moderate and higher sizes of the cluster. This feature is observed at all wavelengths （ultraviolet to optical to infrared）. We also find that the variation of Qext with n is very small when A is high. When n is fixed at any value between 1.4 and 2.0, it is observed that Qext and k are correlated via a polynomial regression equation （of degree 1, 2, 3 or 4）, where the degree of the equation depends on the cluster size, n and A. The correlation is linear for small size and quadratic/cubic/quartic for moderate and higher sizes. We have also found that Qext and x are correlated via a polynomial regression （of degree 3, 4 or 5） for all values of n. The degree of regression is found to be n and k-dependent. The set of relations obtained from our work can be used to model interstellar extinction for dust aggregates in a wide range of wavelengths and complex refractive indices.

Effect of coefficient of restitution in Euler-Euler CFD simulation of fluidized-bed hydrodynamics

Collision between particles plays an important role in determining the hydrodynamic characteristics of gas-solid flow in a fluidized bed. In the present work, earlier work （Loha, Chattopadhyay, ＆ Chatterjee, 2013） was extended to study the effect of the elasticity of particle collision on the hydrodynamic behavior of a bubbling fluidized bed filled with 530-~m particles. The Eulerian-Eulerian two-fluid model was used to simulate the hydrodynamics of the bubbling fluidized bed, where the solid-phase properties were calculated by applying the kinetic theory of granular flow. To investigate the effect of the elasticity of particle collision, different values of the coefficient of restitution were applied in the simulation and their effects were studied in detail. Simulations were performed for two different solid-phase wall boundary conditions. No bubble formation was observed for perfectly elastic collision. The bubble formation started as soon as the coefficient of restitution was set below 1.0, and the space occupied by bubbles in the bed increased with a decrease in the coefficient of restitution. Simulation results were also compared with experimental data available in the literature, and good agreement was found for coefficients of restitution of 0.95 and 0.99.

Euler-Euler CFD modeling of fluidized bed:Influence of specularity coefficient on hydrodynamic behavior

Euler-Euler two-fluid model is used to simulate the hydrodynamics of gas-solid flow in a bubbling flu- idized bed with Geldert B particles where the solid property is calculated by applying the kinetic theory of granular flow （KTGF）. Johnson and Jackson wall boundary condition is used for the particle phase, and different amount of slip between particle and wall is given by varying the specularity coefficient （φ） from 0 to 1. The simulated particle velocity, granular temperature and particle volume fraction are compared to investigate the effect of different wall boundary conditions on the hydrodynamic behavior, Some of the results are also compared with the available experimental data from the literature. It was found that the model predictions are sensitive to the specularity coefficient. The hydrodynamic behavior deviated sig- nificantly for φ = 0 and φ = 0.01 with maximum deviation found at φ = 0 i.e. free-slip condition. However, the overall bed height predicted by all the conditions is similar.

A near eutectic Al−12.6Si alloy was developed with 0.0wt%,2.0wt%,4.0wt%,and 6.0wt%Al−5Ti−1B master *** micro-structural morphology,hardness,tensile strength,elongation,and fracture behaviour of the alloys were *** unmodified Al−12.6Si al-loy has an irregular needle and plate-like eutectic silicon(ESi)and coarse polygonal primary silicon(PSi)particles in the matrix-likeα-Al *** P_(Si),E_(Si),andα-Al morphology and volume fraction were changed due to the addition of the Al−5Ti−1B master *** hardness,UTS,and elongation improved due to the microstructural ***-sized in-situ Al3Ti particles and ex-situ TiB_(2)particles caused the mi-crostructural *** fracture images of the developed alloys exhibit a ductile and brittle mode of fracture at the same *** Al−5Ti−1B modified alloys have a more ductile mode of fracture and more dimples compared to the unmodified alloy.

Effect of pouring temperature on cooling slope casting of semi-solid Al-Si-Mg alloy

Present trend of semi-solid processing is directed towards rheocasting route which allows manufacturing of near-net-shape cast components directly from the prepared semi-solid slurry. Generation of globular equi-axed grains during solidification of rheocast components, compared to the columnar dendritic structure of conventional casting routes, facilitates the manufacturing of components with improved mechanical properties and structural integrity. In the present investigation, a cooling slope has been designed and indigenously fabricated to produce semi solid slurry of A1-Si-Mg （A356） alloy and successively cast in a metallic mould. The scope of the present work discusses about development of a numerical model to simulate the liquid metal flow through cooling slope using Eulerian two-phase flow approach and to investigate the effect of pouring temperature on cooling slope semi-solid slurry generation process. The two phases considered in the present model are liquid metal and air. Solid fraction evolution of the solidifying melt is tracked at different locations of the cooling slope, following Schiel＇s equation. The continuity equation, momentum equation and energy equation are solved considering thin wall boundary condition approach. During solidification of the liquid metal, a modified temperature recovery scheme has been employed taking care of the latent heat release and change of fraction of liquid. The results obtained from simulations are compared with experimental findings and good agreement has been found.
