The specific distribution characteristics of inclusions along with the sliver defect were analyzed in detail to explain the formation mechanism of the sliver defect on the automobile exposed panel surface.A quantitative electrolysis method was used to compare and evaluate the three-dimensional morphology,size,composition,quantity,and distribution of inclusions in the defect and non-defect zone of automobile exposed *** Al2O3 inclusions were observed to be aggregated or chain-like shape along with the sliver defect of about 3–10μ*** aggregation sections of the Al2O3 inclusions are distributed discretely along the rolling direction,with a spacing of 3–7 mm,a length of 6–7 mm,and a width of about 3 *** inclusion area part is 0.04%–0.16%with an average value of 0.08%,the inclusion number density is 40 mm−2 and the inclusion average spacing is 25.13μ*** inclusion spacing is approximately 40–160μm,with an average value of 68.76μm in chain-like inclusion *** average area fraction and number density of inclusions in the non-defect region were reduced to about 0.002%and 1–2 mm^−2,respectively,with the inclusion spacing of 400μm and the size of Al2O3 being 1–3μm.

Although a wide range of studies have addressed the relationship between estrogen receptor(ER) expression and prognosis in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC), that relationship remains controversial. This is in large part because there is no consensus on the rate of ER expression in NSCLC or on the intracellular distribution of ER expression. This suggests that establishing the relationship between ER expression and prognosis will require standardization of the antibodies used as well as the definition of a positive response. For example, it is supposed from previous studies that ERs in the cytoplasm and nucleus have different relationships to prognosis than ERs in the cytoplasm. Moreover, ER signaling in NSCLC is known to be affected by aromatase, progesterone receptor and epidermal growth factor receptor mutation. However, there has been little functional analysis these mutants and subtypes. This review will focus on what is known about the role of ERs in NSCLC and whether ER can be a useful prognostic marker or therapeutic target in NSCLC.

AIM： The treatment of liver disease is severely limited by a shortage of donor livers. In trying to address this growing problem, hepatocellular transplantation （HTx） has received much attention as an alternative to whole organ transplant. However, the expansion of transplanted cells is at low level, and the reconstitution of functional liver tissue is limited by this cellular property. We set up an animal model to better understand cell dose effect and the kinetics of liver repopulation following HTx. METHODS： Dipeptidyl peptidase Ⅳ （DPPⅣ）-deficient rats treated with retrorsine and subjected to partial hepatectomy were infused with DPPⅣ-positive hepatocytes. Rats were injected with varying numbers of donor hepatocytes down to 100 cells low, and liver repopulation was examined at different time points up to 20 mo long. Repopulation was assessed by computer-aided quantitative detection. RESULTS： Transplanted hepatocytes underwent multiple rounds of proliferation and stably repopulated the injured livers after 20 mo and at all cell doses. Transplanted cells divided 14 times within the 3-mo time period following infusion, and the liver repopulation reached a plateau between 3 and 20 too. Approximately 90% replacement occurred. Donor-derived cells also reconstituted the bile ductules of the recipients. CONCLUSION： The ability of transplanted hepatocytes to fully reconstitute injured livers strongly supports further investigation into the clinical potential of HTx. Additionally, the observation that transplanted hepatocytes also form components of the biliary system suggests that these cells may have bi-potential property of the stem cells.

Numerical Study on Particle Motions in Swirling Flows in a Cyclone Separator

The purpose of this study is to establish the high-accurate prediction method of particle separation in a cyclone separator. Numerical simulation of the swirling flows in a cyclone separator is performed by using a large eddy simulation （LES） based on a Smagorinsky model. The validity of the simulation and the complicated flow characteristics are discussed by comparison with experimental results. Moreover, particle motions are treated by a Lagrangian method and are calculated with a one-way method. A performance for particle separation is predicted from the results of the particle tracing. As results of our investigation, the influences of the inserted height of the outlet pipe on the performance for particle separation of cyclone separator are shown.

We present molecular dynamics simulation evidence for a freezing transition from liquid silicon to quasi-two-dimensional(quasi-2D)bilayer silicon in a slit *** new quasi-2D polymorph of silicon exhibits a bilayer hexagonal structure in which the covalent coordination number of every silicon atom is *** molecular dynamics simulations show that the stand-alone bilayer silicon(without the confinement)is still stable at 400 *** band-structure calculations suggest that the bilayer hexagonal silicon is a quasi-2D semimetal,similar to a graphene monolayer,but with an indirect zero band gap.

We perform numerical simulations to study the secular orbital evolution and dynamical structure of the quintuplet planetary system 55 Cancri with the self-consistent orbital solutions by Fischer and coworkers. In the simulations, we show that this system can be stable for at least 108 yr. In addition, we extensively investigate the planetary configuration of four outer companions with one terrestrial planet in the wide region of 0.790AU 〈 a 〈 5.900AU to examine the existence of potential asteroid structure and Habitable Zones （HZs）. We show that there are unstable regions for orbits about 4：1, 3：1 and 5：2 mean motion resonances （MMRs） of the outermost planet in the system, and several stable orbits can remain at 3：2 and 1：1 MMRs, which resembles the asteroid belt in the solar system. From a dynamical viewpoint, proper HZ candidates for the existence of more potential terrestrial planets reside in the wide area between 1.0 AU and 2.3 AU with relatively low eccentricities.

AIM: to investigate the prevalence and the clinical characteristics of Asian patients with eosinophilic ***: We conducted a systematic search of the Pub Med and Web of Science databases for original studies, case series, and individual case reports of eosinophilic esophagitis in Asian countries published from January 1980 to January 2015. We found 66 and 80 articles in the Pub Med and Web of Science databases, respectively; 24 duplicate articles were removed. After excluding animal studies, articles not written in English, and meeting abstracts, 25 articles containing 217 patients were selected for ***: Sample size-weighted mean values were determined for all pooled prevalence data and clinical characteristics. The mean age of the adult patients with eosinophilic esophagitis was approximately 50 years, and 73% of these patients were male. They frequently presented with allergic diseases including bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergy, and atopic dermatitis. Bronchial asthma was the most frequent comorbid allergic disease, occurring in 24% of patients with eosinophilic esophagitis. Dysphagia was the primary symptom reported; 44% of the patients complained of dysphagia. Although laboratory blood tests are not adequately sensitive for an accurate diagnosis of eosinophilic esophagitis, endoscopic examinations revealed abnormal findings typical of this disease, including longitudinal furrows and concentric rings, in 82% of the cases. One-third of the cases responded to proton pump inhibitor ***: The characteristics of eosinophilicesophagitis in Asian patients were similar to those reported in Western patients, indicating that this disease displays a similar pathogenesis between Western and Asian patients.

In order to compare the difference between young and old intervertebral disc cells and theirresponsiveness to recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2 (rhBMP-2),disc cells were isolatedfrom the anulus fibrosus (AF) and transition zones of lumbar discs from eight old and eight young NewZealand white *** with the ceils from the young rabbits,cells from old rabbits respond less torhBMP-2 treatment with respect to sulfated-glycosaminoglycan (sGAG) synthesis and aggrecan *** in collagen Ⅰ and collagen Ⅱ gene expressions,there are no significant differences betweenthe old and the *** comparing sGAG content,aggrecan,and collagen Ⅱ gene expression of the oldAF cells after rhBMP-2 treatment with that of the young AF cells without rhBMP-2 treatment,the old AFcells with rhBMP-2 treatment have a greater capacity to synthesize sGAG bound in the cells and to releasesGAG in the media,as well as to express aggrecan and collagen Ⅱ *** can be concluded that old AF cellsafter rhBMP-2 treatment have a greater capacity to synthesize sGAG and express aggrecan and collagen Ⅱ ascompared to young AF cells without rhBMP-2 *** rhBMP-2 can reverse the decline in theanabolic capacity of the disc cells with *** it seems that rhBMP-2 has potential for use as an agent toretard a key component of disc degeneration and loss of disc matrix.

This paper described the use of fy ash for soil amelioration of acidic soils to promote plant *** mining sites,acid sulfate soils/rocks,which contain sulfde minerals(*** FeS_(2)),have appeared as a result of overburden *** excessively acidic condition inhibits plant growth due to the dissolution of harmful elements,such as Al,Fe,and *** ash,an alkaline byproduct of coal combustion generated in thermal power plants is expected to be adopted to ameliorate acidic ***,the mixing ratio of fy ash must be considered because excessive addition of fy ash can have a negative impact on plant growth due to its physical/chemical *** pot trials using Acacia mangium demonstrate the evolution of plant growth with a 5%–10%addition of fy ash into acidic *** the acidic soil has a high potential for metal dissolution,the metal ions leached from the acidic soil are large,making it difcult to improve plant growth due to osmotic and ionic *** work suggests that the efects of fy ash on metal ions leached from the soil have to be considered for the amelioration of acidic soil.
