In this paper,we investigate the existence of solutions and analyze the large-time behavior for Gurtin-Maccamy population model involving conformable fractional *** a preliminary step,we construct a generic structure of the solution associated with our proposed model by utilizing some basic properties and tools of conformable fractional *** establish the existence of a unique solution of the given model with the given initial *** last,by using the upper and lower solutions for the characteristic equation,we define the upper and lower boundaries for the obtained solution and describe the large-time behavior of the total population.

Chemotherapy extravasation remains an accidental complication of chemotherapy administration and may result in serious damage to patients. We review in this article the clinical aspects of chemotherapy extravasation and latest advances in definitions, classification, pre-vention, management and guidelines. We review the grading of extravasation and tissue damage according to various chemotherapeutic drugs and present an update on treatment and new antidotes including dexrazoxane for anthracyclines extravasation. We highlight the importance of education and training of the oncology team for prevention and prompt pharmacological and non-pharmacological management and stress the availability of new antidotes like dexrazoxane wherever anthracyclines are being infused.

Image segmentation is one of the most basic tasks in computer vision and remains an initial step of many applications. In this paper, we focus on interactive image segmentation(IIS), often referred to as foreground–background separation or object extraction, guided by user interaction. We provide an overview of the IIS literature by covering more than 150 publications, especially recent works that have not been surveyed before. Moreover, we try to give a comprehensive classification of them according to different viewpoints and present a general and concise comparison of the most recent published works. Furthermore, we survey widely used datasets,evaluation metrics, and available resources in the field of IIS.

The effect of initial texture on the microstructure and texture evolution of as extruded AZ31 alloy after hot uniaxial compression at 430°C and subsequent annealing at 450°C for 72h has been investigated using electron backscatter *** were machined from the extruded block in such orientations that the compression axis,CD,was parallel(CD0ED)or perpendicular(CD90ED)to the initial extrusion direction,ED,*** show that the deformation microstructure for both samples was characterized by equiaxed grains that resulted from dynamic *** at 450°C for 72 h led to the increase of grains size to 28 and 25μm for CD0ED and CD90ED samples,respectively.A random deformation texture was developed in CD0ED sample while the deformation of CD90ED developed typical(0002)basal *** deformation textures of both samples were retained after subsequent annealing at 450°C for 72 *** flow behavior was affected by the initial *** CD0ED sample showed the highest work *** evolutions were explained in term of the activation and suppression of basal,non-basal slip and mechanical twinning.©2018 Published by elsevier *** behalf of Chongqing *** is an open access article under the CC BY-NC-ND license.

Introduction: Tubular and interstitial nephropathy syndrome with uveitis or TINU syndrome is a rare association. Patients and methods: We have listed cases in which the clinical-biological picture and histology were consistent with this syndrome. Results: Two cases were retained: These were two female patients whose mean age at diagnosis was 16 years. The inaugural symptoms were bilateral anterior uveitis in two cases. The time to onset of renal signs: was 4 to 2 weeks months. Acute kidney failure was reported in both cases with a mean creatinine of 36.4 mg/l. An average proteinuria of 1.1 g/24 h associated with aseptic leukocyturia in one case/2 and glycosuria normoglycemic in 1 case/2. Non inflammatory syndrome specific with inflammatory anemia is reported in both cases. Kidney puncture biopsy confirmed the diagnosis with nephropathy diffuse polymorphic tubulointerstitial and immunofluorescence negative in both cases. Oral corticosteroid therapy (1 mg/kg per day) was started for 4 to 6 months. Both patients received initial local corticosteroid therapy for uveitis. The outcome was favorable under treatment with remission complete. Kidney function recovered after 6 months with an average serum creatinine of 6 mg/l. Discussion: The incidence of TINU syndrome appears to be underestimated in the literature. It is believed to be an autoimmune disease. The positive diagnosis is based on clinical, biological and histological. An etiological investigation in search of disease systemic is necessary before making the diagnosis. There is no codified treatment. The prognosis is favorable in the majority of cases. Conclusion: Investigation of renal function is necessary for any patient.

The microstructure and texture development in a Mg-0.41Dy(wt%)alloy after plane strain compression(PSC)at 300℃under a strain rate of 10^(-2)and 10^(-4)s^(-1),up a final true strain of—1.2 were investigated using electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)and X-ray *** high strain rate of 10^(-2)s^(-1),the microstructure exhibited massive twins mainly{101^(-)2}extension,{1011}contraction and{101^(-)3}-{101^(-)2}double twin due to the random texture of the as-cast ***,at a low strain rate of 10^(-4)s^(-1),the microstructure was characterized by dynamic recrystallization at the{101^(-)2}extension,(101^(-)1)contraction twins and grain *** dynamic recrystallization(TDRX),rotational dynamic recrystallization(RDRX)and discontinuous dynamic recrystallization(DDRX)were the main mechanisms responsible for the formation of recrystallized *** texture was characterized by the formation of three fibers:basal,//CD and//CD where CD is the compression ***,the texture was less sensitive to the deformation conditions since the recrystallized grains showed the same orientation than *** changes of the mechanical properties of the alloy were ascribed to the resulting microstructure due to the twinning and dynamic recrystallization.

Objective:To investigate the antioxidant and cytotoxic properties of the most active extracts from Ulva lactuca and Laurencia obtusa against colon and cervical cancer cell ***:The antioxidant radical scavenging activity of the algal extracts was estimated using the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl colorimetric ***,the cytotoxic potential of these bioactive extracts was studied against HCT-116 and Hela cells by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazole-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide *** healing analysis was adopted to evaluate the antimetastatic effects of protein extracts from both *** cycle analysis was performed by flow cytometry,and apoptotic bodies were detected using 4′,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole fluorescent *** acids of hydrolyzed protein extract were separated and identified chromatographically by high performance liquid ***:The green algae Ulva lactuca had higher lipid content than Laurencia obtusa,whereas the latter had higher protein content with high antioxidant *** extracts had significant dose-and time-dependent cytotoxicity and anti-metastatic activity against HCT-116 *** b extracts of both algae obtained from the chloroform:hexane solvent lipid-free residue caused morphological changes and induced apoptosis of HCT-116 *** analysis revealed that apoptosis induced upon Laurencia obtusa protein b treatment was triggered via the ROS pathway,causing a significant increase in the sub-G_(1) *** and arginine(5.94 and 5.47μM,respectively)were the most common amino acids in Laurencia obtusa protein b ***:Proteins of Laurencia obtusa and Ulva lactuca could be considered as an adjuvant nutraceutical source of pro-apoptotic and anti-metastatic biomolecules against colon cancer.

Background: Oxidative stress has been closely linked to the incidence of diabetic complications. Therefore, the aim of this research article was to study hyperglycemia and abnormal lipid profile in diabetic patient type 2 and its correlation with oxidative stress development as measured by 8-iso-PGF2α and 8-OHdG. Methods: Fifty (50) patients confirmed type 2 diabetes mellitus and eighty (80) non-diabetic control individuals were included in this study. All individuals were tested for blood glucose, lipid profile, 8-iso-PGF2α and 8-OHdG HdG. Results: The age of diabetic patients was observed to be ≥40 yrs in 96% and diabetes was frequently detected in female than in male patients (76% vs. 24%, p ere elevated in diabetic patients compared with control individuals (p elevated significantly in diabetic patients compared with non-diabetic control and a significant correlation was recorded between them (r = 0.6, p α was associated with Age (r = 0.394, p elevation of 8-iso-PGF2α and 8-OHdG. Therefore, hyperglycemia with oxidative stress development may play a role for dyslipidemia and diabetic complications. Conclusion: Diabetic patient’s type 2 has a higher rate of abnormal serum lipids and correlates significantly with lipid peroxidation and oxidized DNA bases as measured by 8-iso-PGF2α and 8-OHdG. Therefore, 8-iso-PGF2α and 8-OHdG could be used as oxidative biomarkers for evaluating diabetic patients with early prediction

Colorectal cancer(CRC)is the third most common cancer worldwide,and the second most common cause of cancer-related *** 2020,the estimated number of deaths due to CRC was approximately 930000,accounting for 10%of all cancer deaths ***,there is a vast amount of ongoing research aiming to find new and improved treatment modalities for CRC that can potentially increase survival and decrease overall morbidity and *** management strategies for CRC include surgical procedures for resectable cases,and radiotherapy,chemotherapy,and immunotherapy,in addition to their combination,for non-resectable *** these options,CRC remains incurable in 50%of ***,significant improvements in research techniques have allowed for treatment approaches for CRC to be frequently updated,leading to the availability of new drugs and therapeutic *** review summarizes the most recent therapeutic approaches for CRC,with special emphasis on new strategies that are currently being studied and have great potential to improve the prognosis and lifespan of patients with CRC.
