The effects of 3 chairside polishing kits and mechanical brushing on the surface roughness of 3 different acrylic denture base resins were compared. Acrylic denture base resins （auto-polymerizing, heat-polymerizing, injected heat-polymerizing resins） were examined after a tungsten carbide bur, and after chairside polishing using 3 polishing kits and pumice. The specimens were subjected to mechanical brushing using a wear tester to simulate 30 000 strokes of brushing. The surface roughness of the acrylic denture base resin specimens was measured using a contact pro-filometer. After the test, the random polished acrylic resins were evaluated by scanning electron mi-croscopy （SEM） and atomic force microscopy （AFM）. Acrylic denture base resins polished using the 3 types of polishing kits had a smoother surface than those finished with the tungsten carbide bur （p〈0.05）. The surface of the resin polished by a TC cutter exceeded the Ra of 0.2 μm （p〈0.05）. The auto-polymerizing resin showed a significantly higher surface roughness than the heat-polymerizing resin and injected heat-polymerizing resin （p〉0.05）. In the case of polishing step wise, there was almost no change in surface roughness after brushing （p〉0.05）.

These days,imbalanced datasets,denoted throughout the paper by ID,(a dataset that contains some(usually two)classes where one contains considerably smaller number of samples than the other(s))emerge in many real world problems(like health care systems or disease diagnosis systems,anomaly detection,fraud detection,stream based malware detection systems,and so on)and these datasets cause some problems(like under-training of minority class(es)and over-training of majority class(es),bias towards majority class(es),and so on)in classification process and ***,these datasets take the focus of many researchers in any science and there are several solutions for dealing with this *** main aim of this study for dealing with IDs is to resample the borderline samples discovered by Support Vector Data Description(SVDD).There are naturally two kinds of resampling:Under-sampling(U-S)and oversampling(O-S).The O-S may cause the occurrence of over-fitting(the occurrence of over-fitting is its main drawback).The U-S can cause the occurrence of significant information loss(the occurrence of significant information loss is its main drawback).In this study,to avoid the drawbacks of the sampling techniques,we focus on the samples that may be *** data points that can be misclassified are considered to be the borderline data points which are on border(s)between the majority class(es)and minority class(es).First by SVDD,we find the borderline examples;then,the data resampling is applied over *** the next step,the base classifier is trained on the newly created ***,we compare the result of our method in terms of Area Under Curve(AUC)and F-measure and G-mean with the other state-of-the-art *** show that our method has betterresults than the other state-of-the-art methods on our experimental study.

We investigate instanton effects on the heavy-quark potential, including its spin-dependent part, based on the instanton liquid model. Starting with the central potential derived from the instanton vacuum, we obtain the spin-dependent part of the heavy-quark potential. We discuss the results of the heavy-quark potential from the instanton vacuum. Finally, we solve the nonrelativistic two-body problem, associated with the heavy-quark potential from the instanton vacuum. The instanton effects on the quarkonia spectra are marginal but are required for quantitative description of the spectra.

Rotary bending fatigue tests were carried out with two kinds of materials, S43C and S50C, using the front engine and front drive shaft （FF shaft） of vehicle. The specimens were induction hardened about 1.0mm depth from the specimen surface, and the hardness value on the surface was about HRC56-60. The tested environment temperatures were -30, 25 and 80℃ in order to look over effect of the induction hardening and the environmental temperatures on the fatigue characteristics. The fatigue limit of induction hardened specimens increased more about 45% than non-hardened specimens showing that the endurances of S43C and S50C were 98.1 and 107.9MPa in non-hardened samples, 147.1 and 156.9MPa in hardened samplesrespectably. The maximum tensile and compressive stress on the small circular defect was about ＋250 and -450MPa respectively when circular defect is situated on top and bottom. The fatigue life increased 80, 25 and -30℃ in order regardless of hardening. In comparison of the fatigue lives on the basis of tested result at 25℃, the fatigue lives of non-hardened specimens decreased about 35%, but that of hardened specimens decreased about only 5% at 80℃ more than at 25℃. And fatigue life of non-hardened and hardened specimens were about 110% and 120% higher at -30℃ than that of 25℃. Based on the result of stress distribution near the defect, the tensile and compressive stress repeatedly generated by load direction were the largest on the small circular defect due to the stress concentration.

Circadian rhythms play crucial roles in orchestrating diverse physiological processes that are critical for health and *** circadian rhythms are closely associated with various human metabolic diseases,including type 2 diabetes,cardiovascular disease,and non-alcoholic fatty liver *** lifestyles are frequently associated with an irregular circadian rhythm,which poses a significant risk to public *** the central clock has a set periodicity,circadian oscillators in peripheral organs,particularly in the liver,can be entrained by metabolic alterations or stress *** the molecular level,the signal transduction pathways that mediate stress responses interact with the key determinants of circadian oscillation to maintain metabolic homeostasis under physiological or pathological *** the liver,a number of nuclear receptors or transcriptional regulators,which are regulated by metabolites,hormones,the circadian clock,or environmental stressors,serve as direct links between stress responses and circadian *** this review,we summarize recent advances in the understanding of the interactions between stress responses(endoplasmic reticulum stress response,oxidative stress response,and inflammatory responses)and circadian metabolism,and the role of these interactions in the development of metabolic diseases.

Although food and affective pictures share similar emotional and motivational characteristics, the relationship between the neuronal responses to these stimuli is unclear. Particularly, it is not known whether perceiving and imagining food and affective stimuli elicit similar event-related potential （ERP） patterns. In this study, two ERP correlates, the early posterior negativity （EPN） and the late positive potential （LPP） for perceived and imagined emotional and food photographs were investigated. Thirteen healthy volunteers were exposed to a set of food photos, as well as unpleasant, pleasant, and neutral photos from the International Affective Picture System. In each trial, participants were first asked to view a photo （perception condition）, and then to create a visual mental image of it and to rate its vividness （imagery condition）. The results showed that during perception, brain regions corresponding to sensorimotor and parietal motivational （defensive and appetitive） systems were activated to different extents, producing a graded pattern of EPN and LPP responses specific to the photo content - more prominent for unpleasant than pleasant and food content. Also, an EPN signature occurred in both conditions for unpleasant content, suggesting that, compared to food or pleasant content, unpleasant content may be attended to more intensely during perception and may be represented more distinctly during imagery. Finally, compared to LLP activation during perception, as well as imagery and perception of all other content, LPP activation was significantly reduced during imagery of unpleasant photos, suggesting inhibition of unwanted memories. Results are framed within a neurocognitive working model of embodied emotions.

Non-specific lipid transfer proteins(nsLTPs) are small, basic proteins that are characterized by an eight-cysteine motif. The biological functions of these proteins have been reported to involve plant reproduction and biotic or abiotic stress response. With the completion of the barley genome sequence, a genome-wide analysis of nsLTPs in barley(Hordeum vulgare L.)(HvLTPs) will be helpful for understanding the function of nsLTPs in plants. We performed a genome-wide analysis of the nsLTP gene family in barley and identified 70 nsLTP genes,which can be divided into five types(1, 2, C, D, and G). Each type of nsLTPs shares similar exon and intron gene structures. Expression analysis showed that barley nsLTPs have diverse expression patterns, revealing their various roles. Our results shed light on the phylogenetic relationships and potential functions of barley nsLTPs and will be useful for future studies of barley development and molecular breeding.
