Recently,the path planning problem may be considered one of the most interesting researched topics in autonomous *** is why finding a safe path in a cluttered environment for a mobile robot is a significant requisite.A promising route planning for mobile robots on one side saves time and,on the other side,reduces the wear and tear on the robot,saving the capital *** route planning methods for the mobile robot have been developed and *** to our best knowledge,no method offers an optimum solution among the existing *** Swarm Optimization(PSO),a numerical optimization method based on the mobility of virtual particles in a multidimensional space,is considered one of the best algorithms for route planning under constantly changing environmental *** the researchers,reactive methods are increasingly common and extensively used for the training of neural networks in order to have efficient route planning for mobile *** paper proposes a PSO Weighted Grey Wolf Optimization(PSOWGWO)*** is a hybrid algorithm based on enhanced Grey Wolf Optimization(GWO)with *** order to measure the statistical efficiency of the proposed algorithm,Wilcoxon rank-sum and ANOVA statistical tests are *** experimental results demonstrate a 25%to 45%enhancement in terms of Area Under Curve(AUC).Moreover,superior performance in terms of data size,path planning time,and accuracy is demonstrated over other state-of-the-art techniques.

Background and Objective: The outcome of locally advanced and metastatic urothelial carcinoma LA/mUC has improved over the past years with a plethora of new treatments and the approval of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), antibody-drug conjugates, and targeted agents, to identify locally advanced metastatic urothelial carcinoma’s current management practices in Lebanon and the implication of the ongoing economic crisis on the medical practice. Methods: An online questionnaire was used to survey ten Lebanese oncologists from six different hospitals, between July 5 and July 11, 2022, requesting information pertaining to their current clinical practice in the pharmacological treatment of locally advanced metastatic urothelial carcinoma. Key Findings: Cisplatin-based chemotherapy was the most frequently reported initial treatment of locally advanced metastatic urothelial carcinoma. Participants reported using immune checkpoint inhibitors in platinum-ineligible patients and those with PDL1 positive tumors. Also, they would not consider the concomitant use of immunotherapy and chemotherapy in the first-line setting. Participants believed that avelumab maintenance is effective in the absence of progression after first-line platinum-based chemotherapy;they would consider initiating it 2 - 10 weeks after completion of chemotherapy. Conclusions and Clinical Implications: After comparing with current international guidelines, this study shows that Lebanese oncologists follow international guidelines and have deep knowledge of recent clinical trials for the management of locally advanced metastatic urothelial carcinoma, regardless of economic crisis challenges.

In the Smart Grid(SG)residential environment,consumers change their power consumption routine according to the price and incentives announced by the utility,which causes the prices to deviate from the initial ***,electricity demand and price forecasting play a significant role and can help in terms of reliability and *** to the massive amount of data,big data analytics for forecasting becomes a hot topic in the SG *** this paper,the changing and non-linearity of consumer consumption pattern complex data is taken as *** minimize the computational cost and complexity of the data,the average of the feature engineering approaches includes:Recursive Feature Eliminator(RFE),Extreme Gradient Boosting(XGboost),Random Forest(RF),and are upgraded to extract the most relevant and significant *** this end,we have proposed the DensetNet-121 network and Support Vector Machine(SVM)ensemble with Aquila Optimizer(AO)to ensure adaptability and handle the complexity of data in the ***,the AO method helps to tune the parameters of DensNet(121 layers)and SVM,which achieves less training loss,computational time,minimized overfitting problems and more training/test *** evaluation metrics and statistical analysis validate the proposed model results are better than the benchmark *** proposed method has achieved a minimal value of the Mean Average Percentage Error(MAPE)rate i.e.,8%by DenseNet-AO and 6%by SVM-AO and the maximum accurateness rate of 92%and 95%,respectively.

This research aims to study the impact of yttrium oxide on the radiation protection features of polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) for gamma shielding *** yttrium oxide(Y_(2)O_(3)) was instilled through the PVA matrix by different contents(x=0.1 wt%,0,3 wt%,0,7 wt%,0,9 wt%),The morphology of the prepared PVA/Y_(2)O_(3)composites was characterized using scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The samples were investigated using absorption edge,transmittance spectra and dielectric *** transmittance and the bandgap energy decrease as the Y2O3content increases while there is an increase in ε’ and ε" as well as the ac conductivity with the content increment of Y_(2)O_(3)till 0.7 wt%.The te mperature dependence of the dc conductivity was measured for all samples in the range of 260-460 K,and it increases with the temperature *** correlate the electrical characteristics of the PVA/Y_(2)O_(3)composites with their structure and evaluate electrical properties with the help of equivalent circuit matching with the experimentally electrical response in the impedance spectrum,the radiation protection properties were also investigated to get the radiation shielding performance of these PVA/Y_(2)O_(3)composite films with varying Y_(2)O(3)*** linear attenuation coefficient(μ),half value layer(T_(0.5)),and mass attenuation coefficient(μm) were *** to all obtained data,PVA/Y_(2)O_(3)composite films with various percentages(0.1 wt%,0.3 wt%,0.7 wt%,0.9 wt%) can be used as a radiation shielding material.

One of the major concerns for the utilities in the Smart Grid(SG)is electricity *** the implementation of smart meters,the frequency of energy usage and data collection from smart homes has increased,which makes it possible for advanced data analysis that was not previously *** this purpose,we have taken historical data of energy thieves and normal *** avoid imbalance observation,biased estimates,we applied the interpolation ***,the data unbalancing issue is resolved in this paper by Nearmiss undersampling technique and makes the data suitable for further *** proposing an improved version of Zeiler and Fergus Net(ZFNet)as a feature extraction approach,we had able to reduce the model’s time *** minimize the overfitting issues,increase the training accuracy and reduce the training loss,we have proposed an enhanced method by merging Adaptive Boosting(AdaBoost)classifier with Coronavirus Herd Immunity Optimizer(CHIO)and Forensic based Investigation Optimizer(FBIO).In terms of low computational complexity,minimized over-fitting problems on a large quantity of data,reduced training time and training loss and increased training accuracy,our model outperforms the benchmark *** proposed algorithms Ada-CHIO andAda-FBIO,have the low MeanAverage Percentage Error(MAPE)value of error,i.e.,6.8%and 9.5%,***,due to the stability of our model our proposed algorithms Ada-CHIO and Ada-FBIO have achieved the accuracy of 93%and 90%.Statistical analysis shows that the hypothesis we proved using statistics is authentic for the proposed technique against benchmark algorithms,which also depicts the superiority of our proposed techniques.

Statistical Analyses and Geotechnical Evaluation of Nubia Sandstone, Golden Triangle Area, Egypt

Great efforts had been made to use indirect non-destructive tests in the geotechnical evaluation of rocks, especially sandstones, employing different empirical equations. However, most of these equations have been derived from hard and compacted sandstones data;therefore, the focus of this research is on weak and weakly compacted sandstones, aiming firstly to obtain empirical equations for estimating their characteristics, secondly to demonstrate and visualize the correlations between the studied variables, and finally to cluster the studied samples based on their characteristics. To attain these aims, twenty oriented block samples were collected from Nubia sandstone, central Eastern Desert, Golden Triangle area, Egypt. These samples were prepared and tested according to standard test methods, including uniaxial compressive strength (UCS), Brazilian tensile strength (BTS), Schmidt rebound number (SRN), porosity (n), bulk density (ρ), and ultrasonic P-wave velocity (UPV). The loss on ignition (LOI) was also employed as a physicochemical test for classifying the studied samples and indicating pores filling materials. The results revealed that these sandstones are characterized mainly by high n, low ρ, and low UPV values and these give an indication of weakly compacted and weakly cemented sandstone with shallow burial diagenetic conditions. Based on UCS and elastic modulus values, these sandstones are mainly classified as very low strength and highly yielding rocks. The results of regression analysis show satisfactory correlations between physical and mechanical characteristics, indicating the suitability of obtained empirical equations to deduce these properties. Tendon Transfer for Foot Drop: A Simple Procedure with Effective Outcome Local Experience

Introduction:?Patients presented with old neglected common peroneal nerve injuries, failed 2ry repair, compression neuropathies not improved after decompression and closed injuries with no improvement on conservative measures which are still unsolved problems. Poor recovery of this nerve after repair or decompression gives great importance to tendon transfer in these situations. Material and Methods: This study was conducted in Neurosurgery Department of Mansoura University from 2015 to 2018 on twenty-six patients (16 males and 10 females). Their age ranged from 6 - 58 years. All of them presented with persistent foot drop at least for one year after injury with no signs of improvement clinically or in electrophysiological studies. All patients underwent tibialis posterior tendon transfer through the interosseous membrane to the tendons of the leg anterior compartment. All of them were put in a plaster cast for four weeks postoperative. A physiotherapeutic program was applied for all patients as preoperative preparation and postoperative rehabilitation. Results: Twenty-two patients showed satisfactory results, three patients fair improvement and one patient no improvement. Two patients had wound infection and there was no mortality in this study. Conclusion:?Tendon transfer is an effective valid solution to be considered in the management of foot drop in these patients.

Water is essential for the growth period of crops;however,water unavailability badly affects the growth and physiological attributes of crops,which considerably reduced the yield and yield components in ***,a pot experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of foliar phosphorus(P)on morphological,gas exchange,biochemical traits,and phosphorus use efficiency(PUE)of maize(Zea mays L.)hybrids grown under normal as well as water deficit situations at the Department of Agronomy,University of Agriculture Faisalabad,Pakistan in *** different treatments(control and P@8 kg ha^(−1))and four hybrids(Hycorn,31P41,65625,and 32B33)of maize were tested by using a randomized complete block design(RCBD)with three *** showed that the water stress caused a remarkable decline in total soluble protein(9.7%),photosynthetic rate(9.4%)and transpiration rate(13.4%),stomatal conductance(10.2%),and internal CO_(2)rate(20.4%)comparative to well-watered *** increase of 37.1%,36.8%,and 24.5%were recorded for proline,total soluble sugar,and total free amino acid,***,foliar P application minimized the negative impact of drought by improving plant growth,physio-biochemical attributes,and PUE in maize plants under water stress *** the hybrids tested,the hybrid 6525 performed better both under stress and non-stress *** outcomes confirmed that the exogenous application of P improved drought stress tolerance by modulating growth,physio-biochemical attributes,and PUE of maize hybrids.

One Stage Anterior Reconstruction and Posterior Instrumentation in Surgical Management of Thoracolumbar Spine Fractures

Background: The different methods of anterior reconstruction and posterior instrumentation in surgical management of thoracolumbar spine fractures are PLIF, TLIF, lateral extracaviatary and transpedicular techniques which are increasingly used to perform partial or total corpectomies and anterior reconstructions from a posterior approach. These techniques were being alternative to the standard anterior approach with less morbidity and mortality. Patients and Methods: This study was performed between 2011 and 2014 on 100 patients with acute unstable thoracolumbar spine fractures which were divided into four groups: 30 patients underwent (TLIF), 28 patients underwent (PLIF), 28 patients underwent (PA) and 14 patients underwent (TPA). Neurological outcome, complications, operative times, kyphotic angle, vertebral height loss, spinal canal compromise, pulmonary functions, Denis pain and work scale, VAS score, ODI score, hospital stay, and estimated blood loss (EBL) were evaluated and compared in between the four groups. Results: There was a higher complication rate, increased EBL, and longer operative time with posteroanterior (PA) compared with PLIF, TLIF and (TPA). Patients undergoing PLIF, TLIF and TPA had a greater recovery of neurological function than those in whom PA were performed. Conclusion: TPA appeared to have more favorable results in improving the clinical and radiological outcome and no complications were reported apart from superficial wound infection which healed rapidly. The PLIF, TLIF and TPA appeared to have a comparable morbidity rate to PA. The different methods of anterior reconstruction from posterior approach are more favorable, applicable and convenient than PA approach.
