Miniaturized Novel UWB Band-Notch Textile Antenna for Body Area Networks

This paper presents the design and analysis of a miniaturized and novel wearable ultra-wideband(UWB)band-notch textile antenna for Body Area Networks(BANs).The major goal of building the antenna for wearable applications with band notch in X-band is to reject the downlink band(7.25 to 7.75 GHz)of satellite communication in the UWB frequency ranges of 3.1–10.6 GHz to keep away from *** Simulation Technology(CST)TM Microwave Studio,which is user-friendly and reliable,was used to model and simulate the *** radiating element of the antenna is designed on Jeans’textile substrate,which has a relative permittivity of *** thickness of the jeans’fabric substrate has been considered to be 1 *** loss,gain,bandwidth,impedance,radiation,and total efficiency,and radiation patterns are presented and *** antenna is simulated placed on the three layers of the human body model,and the on-body results are summarized in comparison with free *** and analysis indicate that this antenna has good band-notch characteristics in the frequency range of 7.25 GHz to 7.75 *** parametric study varying the relative permittivity of Jeans’fabric substrate of this antenna is also *** addition,effects on the antenna parameters of variation of ground plane size have been *** antenna is 25 mm×16 mm×1.07 mm in total *** reveal that this antenna achieves the design goal and performs well both in free space and on the body.

This research analyzes and implements an innovative and tiny ultrawideband(UWB)antenna with band-notched features for body-centric *** shape of the designed antenna looks like a‘swan’with a slotted *** Simulation Technology(CST)is used to assess and investigate the performance of this *** a band notch,this antenna can prevent interference from Wireless Local Area Network(WLAN)(5.15–5.825 GHz)and Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access(WiMAX)(5.25–5.85 GHz)*** first,the performance parameters like return loss response,gain,radiation patterns,and radiation efficiency of this UWB antenna are *** that,the human body effects on the antenna performance of the antenna are also examined to place the antenna at various distances away from 3-layers of phantom body model at different *** the on-body performance parameter results are compared and analyzed with free space performance parameter ***,by changing patch slot length and ground plane length,parametric studies were done for performance *** to this research,it is noticed that the antenna is tiny and *** shows good performance in body case as ***,the antenna is very suitable for healthcare applications.

Dual Image Cryptosystem Using Henon Map and Discrete Fourier Transform

This paper introduces an efficient image cryptography *** pro-posed image cryptography system is based on employing the two-dimensional(2D)chaotic henon map(CHM)in the Discrete Fourier Transform(DFT).The proposed DFT-based CHM image cryptography has two procedures which are the encryption and decryption *** the proposed DFT-based CHM image cryptography,the confusion is employed using the CHM while the diffu-sion is realized using the ***,the proposed DFT-based CHM image crypto-graphy achieves both confusion and diffusion *** encryption procedure starts by applying the DFT on the image then the DFT transformed image is scrambled using the CHM and the inverse DFT is applied to get the final-ly encrypted *** decryption procedure follows the inverse procedure of *** proposed DFT-based CHM image cryptography system is exam-ined using a set of security tests like statistical tests,entropy tests,differential tests,and sensitivity *** obtained results confirm and ensure the superiority of the proposed DFT-based CHM image cryptography *** outcomes encourage the employment of the proposed DFT-based CHM image cryptography system in real-time image and video applications.

Privacy,identity preserving and integrity have become key problems for telecommunication *** privacy threats are expected in 5G networks considering the large number of devices that will be *** Internet of Things(IoT)and long-term evolution for machine type(LTE-m)are growing very fast with massive data traffic the risk of privacy attacks will be greatly *** all the above issues standards’bodies should ensure users’identity and privacy in order to gain the trust of service providers and *** such threats,5G specifications require a rigid and robust privacy *** research studies have addressed user privacy in 5G *** paper proposes a method to enhance user identity privacy in 5G systems through a scheme to protect the international mobile subscriber identity(IMSI)using a mutable mobile subscriber identity(MMSI)that changes randomly and avoids the exchange of *** maintains authentication and key agreement(AKA)structure compatibility with previous mobile generations and improves user equipment(UE)synchronization with home *** proposed algorithm adds no computation overhead to UE or the network except a small amount in the home subscriber server(HSS).The proposed pseudonym mutable uses the XOR function to send the MMSI from the HSS to the UE which is reducing the encryption overhead *** proposed solution was verified by ProVerif.

AES Overhead Mitigation Using OpenMP

The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) has been extensively used in many systems to provide security. However, many of the implementations are susceptible to Side Channel Attacks (SCA). To address the susceptibility, several researchers have proposed a number of countermeasures. Masking scheme is one of the countermeasures that are commonly used to counteract such attacks. In this paper, we investigate the overhead of the countermeasure in terms of execution time of the first order-masking scheme for the AES “Encryption part only”. To achieve that, we have implemented the sequential algorithm of the AES with single processor, and after that used OpenMP directives to reduce the overhead of the countermeasure. Subsequently, the result of the sequential algorithm has been compared with its parallel implementations using 2, 4, 6, and 8 processors. We show how parallel implementation of the AES offers better performance yet flexible enough for cryptographic algorithms. Compared to the sequential unmasked AES implementation, the best masking scheme for the first order using data parallelism shows a performance in terms of speed up around 5x when 8 threads are used.

Sentiment analysis or Opinion Mining (OM) has gained significant interest among research communities and entrepreneurs in the recentyears. Likewise, Machine Learning (ML) approaches is one of the interestingresearch domains that are highly helpful and are increasingly applied in severalbusiness domains. In this background, the current research paper focuses onthe design of automated opinion mining model using Deer Hunting Optimization Algorithm (DHOA) with Fuzzy Neural Network (FNN) abbreviatedas DHOA-FNN model. The proposed DHOA-FNN technique involves fourdifferent stages namely, preprocessing, feature extraction, classification, andparameter tuning. In addition to the above, the proposed DHOA-FNN modelhas two stages of feature extraction namely, Glove and N-gram ***, FNN model is utilized as a classification model whereas GTOA isused for the optimization of parameters. The novelty of current work is thatthe GTOA is designed to tune the parameters of FNN model. An extensiverange of simulations was carried out on the benchmark dataset and the resultswere examined under diverse measures. The experimental results highlightedthe promising performance of DHOA-FNN model over recent state-of-the-arttechniques with a maximum accuracy of 0.9928.

In recent times,Internet of Things(IoT)and Cloud Computing(CC)paradigms are commonly employed in different healthcare *** gadgets generate huge volumes of patient data in healthcare domain,which can be examined on cloud over the available storage and computation resources in mobile *** Kidney Disease(CKD)is one of the deadliest diseases that has high mortality rate across the *** current research work presents a novel IoT and cloud-based CKD diagnosis model called Flower Pollination Algorithm(FPA)-based Deep Neural Network(DNN)model abbreviated as *** steps involved in the presented FPA-DNN model are data collection,preprocessing,Feature Selection(FS),and ***,the IoT gadgets are utilized in the collection of a patient’s health *** proposed FPA-DNN model deploys Oppositional Crow Search(OCS)algorithm for FS,which selects the optimal subset of features from the preprocessed *** application of FPA helps in tuning the DNN parameters for better classification *** simulation analysis of the proposed FPA-DNN model was performed against the benchmark CKD *** results were examined under different *** simulation outcomes established the superior performance of FPA-DNN technique by achieving the highest sensitivity of 98.80%,specificity of 98.66%,accuracy of 98.75%,F-score of 99%,and kappa of 97.33%.
