Background:In seasonal,pasture-based,dairy production systems,cows must recover fr.m calving and become pregnant within two to 3 *** achieve this,the uterus must involute and ovulation must occur and continue at regular *** these processes are affected by the cows’nutritional or.metabolic status post-calving,the objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of cow feeding strategies on uterine health,the length of postpartum anestrous interval,and reproductive *** treatments consisted of two feeding strategies during late-lactation and early dry period(far-off period;starting 4-month pre-calving)and three close-up dry period feeding regimes(1-month pre-calving)in a 2×3 factorial *** randomly assigned 150 cows to one of two far-off *** late lactation,the herds(n=75 cows per herd)were either control-fed(Controlfed)or over-fed(Overfed)to achieve a low or high body condition score(4-month pre-calving;BCS;~4.25 and^4.75;10-point scale)at cessation of *** each of these treatments,three feeding levels were applied during the close-up period(1-month pre-calving):~65%(Feed65),~90%(Feed90),or^120%(Feed120)of metabolizable energy(mE)intakes relative to pre-calving ***:Uterine health improved(***(PmN)cells declined)with increased feeding during the close-up period for cows in the Overfed *** reverse was evident for the Controlfed group with the greatest PmN at the highest intakes during the close-up *** postpartum anoestrous interval(PPAI)was shorter in cows fr.m the Overfed group when moderately fed(Feed90)during the close-up period;in comparison,the PPAI was shorter in the Controlfed group,when those cows were overfed in the close-up period(Feed120).The cows in the Overfed treatment had greater conception and pregnancy rates if cows had moderate dry matter intakes(Feed90)during the close-up period;these reproductive variables were less under excessive feed inta

Background： The overall breeding objective for a nucleus swine selection progr.m is to improve crossbred commercial performance. most genetic improvement progr.ms are based on an assumed high degree of positive relationship between purebred performance in a nucleus herd and their relatives＇ crossbred performance in a commercial herd. The objective of this study was to examine the relationship between purebred and crossbred sow longevity performance. Sow longevity was defined as a binary trait with a success occurring if a sow r.mained in the herd for a certain number of parities and including the cumulative number born alive as a measure of reproductive success. Heritabilities, genetic correlations, and phenotypic correlations were estimated using ***： results indicated little to no genetic correlations between crossbred and purebred reproductive *** indicates that selection for longevity or lifetime performance at the nucleus level may not result in improved longevity and lifetime performance at the crossbred level. Early parity performance was highly correlated with lifetime performance indicating that an indicator trait at an early parity could be used to predict lifetime performance. This would allow a sow to have her own record for the selection trait before she has been r.moved fr.m the ***： results fr.m this study aid in quantifying the relationship between purebred and crossbred performance and provide information for genetic companies to consider when developing a selection progr.m where the objective is to improve crossbred sow performance. Utilizing crossbred records in a selection progr.m would be the best way to improve crossbred sow productivity.

A search for the rare decays W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→D0γis performed using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb exper.ment at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV,corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0fb−*** significant signal is observed for either decay mode and upper limits on their branching fractions are set using W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→μ+μ−decays as normalization *** upper limits are 6.5×10^(−4) and 2.1×10^(−3) at 95% confidence level for the W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→D^(0)γ decay modes,*** is the first reported search for the Z→D^(0)γ decay,while the upper limit on the W+→D+sγbranching fraction improves upon the previous best limit.

Brucellosis is a zoonotic disease characterized by reproductive failure in animals and undulent fever in humans. In cattle, it is caused by Brucella abortus while in goats by Brucella melitensis, the main cause of brucellosis in humans. Brucellosis in livestock has been associated with importation of animals fr.m breeder herd of unknown disease status. The prevalence of bovine brucellosis Brucella abortus in 2014 ranged between 1%-2% in Thailand and Indonesia, and 4%-5% in malaysia and myanmar. Prevalence of goat brucellosis Brucella melitensis is approximately 1% in malaysia and Thailand. ‘Test-and-slaughter' is the general policy against brucellosis adopted by most ASEAN countries to eradicate the disease. Under this progr.m, the rose Bengal Plate Test(rBPT) is used as the screening test to identify infected farm/herd while the Complement Fixation Test(CFT) is the confirmatory test. The test-and-slaughter eradication strategy that was implemented since 1979 had managed to keep the prevalence rate to less than 5%, fr.m 3.3% in 1979, 0.23% in 1988, 1% in 1998 and 5% in 2016. The test-and-slaughter progr.m seemed effective in reducing the prevalence of brucellosis but was unable to eradicate the disease due to several factors, which include failure to locate and identify the r.maining affected animals and to control their.movement, importation of breeder animals fr.m non-brucellosis free countries and lack of participation by the farmers following unrealiable test results. To support the eradication policy, research activities since 1980 s have suggested combinations of serological tests to improve diagnosis while surveillance should be focused on hotspots areas. The prevalence can be further reduced by strictly sourcing breeder animals fr.m brucella-free areas or countries.

The BETA application-specific integrated circuit(ASIC)is a fully progr.mmable chip designed to amplify,shape and digitize the signal of up to 64 Silicon photomultiplier(SiPm)channels,with a power consumption of approximately~1 mW/*** to its dual-path gain,the BETA chip is capable of resolving single photoelectrons(phes)with a signal-to-noise ratio(SNr)>5 while simultaneously achieving a dynamic range of~4000 ***,BETA can provide a cost-effective solution for the readout of SiPms in space missions and other applications with a maximum rate below 10 *** this study,we describe the key characteristics of the BETA ASIC and present an evaluation of the performance of its 16-channel version,which is implemented using 130 nm *** ASIC also contains two discr.minators that can provide trigger signals with a time jitter down to 400 ps FWHm for 10 *** linearity error of the charge gain measur.ment was less than 2%for a dynamic range as large as 15 bits.

Grazing and over-grazing may drive changes in the diversity and functioning of below-ground meadow ecosystems. A field soil survey was conducted to compare microbial biomass carbon （Cmin） and soil fauna communities in the two main grassland management systems in subalpine regions of Yunnan Province, China： perennial grazing currently practiced due to increasing herd sizes and traditional seasonal grazing. A three-year exclosure exper.ment was then conducted to further compare the effects of different grazing practices, including treatments of no mowing, perennial grazing （Nm ＋ G）, mowing followed by seasonal grazing （m ＋ G）, mowing and no grazing （m ＋ NG）, and no mowing or grazing （Nm ＋ NG）. The comparative survey result revealed that Cmin and total density of soil fauna were significantly lower at a perennially grazed site than at a seasonally grazed site. The exper.ment results showed that in comparison to non-grazing treatments （m ＋ NG and Nm ＋ NG）, grazing （Nm ＋ G and m ＋ G） reduced total fauna density （by 150 individuals m-2） and the number of taxonomic groups present （by 0.32 taxa m-2）. mowing decreased Cmin （by 0.31 mg g-l）. Furthermore, the Nm ＋ G treatment （perennial grazing） had the lowest density of Collembola （16.24 individuals m-2）, one of the two most common taxonomic groups, although other taxonomic groups responded differently to the treatments. Treatment effects on soil fauna were consistent with those on above-ground grasses, in which C：N ratios were greatly reduced by grazing, with this effect being the greatest for the Nm ＋ G treatment. In contrast, different grazing treatments had little effect on C：N ratio of soil. Furthermore, the traditional grazing method （mowing followed by seasonal grazing） may have less severe effects on some taxonomic groups than perennial grazing. Therefore, an appropriate management should aim to protect soil fauna and microbes in this area fr.m over-grazing and against further degradation.

The latest 6G improvements secured autonomous driving's realism in Intelligent Autonomous Transport Systems(IATS).Despite the IATS's benefits,security r.mains a significant *** technology has grown in popularity as a means of implementing safe,dependable,and decentralised independent IATS systems,allowing for.more utilisation of legacy IATS infrastructures and resources,which is especially advantageous for crowdsourcing *** technology can be used to address security concerns in the IATS and to aid in logistics *** light of the inadequacy of reliance and inattention to rights created by centralised and conventional logistics systems,this paper discusses the creation of a blockchain-based IATS powered by deep learning for secure cargo and vehicle matching(BDL-IATS).The BDL-IATS approach utilises Ethereum as the pr.mary blockchain for storing private data such as order and shipment ***,the deep belief network(DBN)model is used to select suitable vehicles and goods for ***,the chaotic krill herd technique is used to tune the DBN model’s *** performance of the BDL-IATS technique is validated,and the findings are inspected under a variety of *** simulationfindings indicated that the BDL-IATS strategy outperformed recent state-of-the-art approaches.
