The fur industry and the entire fur cluster are in many ways an interesting and instructive example from which many lessons can be learned. Up to now, the international fur industry has not been thoroughly described or analyzed. A major reason is the rather limited availability of national and international statistics about the fur sector. This article analyzes the production and international trade in fur based on information from official statistics, trade associations, companies, scientific papers and reports, interviews with experts, etc.. Markets and market conditions play a very important role with regards to the fur sector, and the price of fur is volatile in the short and long run. A new world trade pattern and international specialization have emerged in recent years. The comparative advantages of the fur sector change along the fur value chain, while China＇s position on the global fur market has changed significantly.

合作社模式在许多国家的食品行业中起到了很重要的作用。合作社与公司的不同之处在于,合作社的所有者和使用者是一样的。在食品行业中,尤其是在牛奶厂、屠宰场、贸易公司和供应商中,合作社是非常普遍的企业形式。尽管合作社是基于特定原则建立的,且与公司相比在基础上和结构上有差异,合作社从根本上说还是以贸易为导向的。合作社的目标就像其他类别的公司的目标一样——持续为所有者创造利润。数十年来,丹麦农业和农业贸易一直以合作社占有大量市场份额和强大的国际竞争力为显著特征。合作社成功地增强了市场力量,促进了农产品的销售。通过向合作社提供农产品,并由合作社统一销售的方式,农民的市场地位得到了改善,管理国际市场也变得容易了。

领导风格对员工创新行为具有直接影响和间接影响作用。人力资源管理实践在领导风格与员工创新行为的关系中具有中介效应。领导风格对企业创新,不仅有直接的影响,还通过其他路径产生间接影响。通过对来自镇江和无锡两地百家企业调研数据研究发现,内部职业机会和就业保障在上述两个变量的关系中,部分中介效应显著;培训在领导风格与渐进式创新关系中没有中介作用,在领导风格与激进式创新关系中也没有中介效应;员工参与在变革型领导风格与渐进式创新关系中具有部分中介作用,在交易型领导与渐进式创新关系中具有完全中介效应,在领导风格与激进式创新关系中具有部分中介效应。

With growing pressures on marine ecosystems and on marine space,an increasingly needed strategy to optimise the use of marine space is to co-locate synergic marine human uses in close spatial–temporal proximity while separating conflicting marine human *** ArcMap toolbox SEANERGY is a new,cross-sectoral spatial decision support tool(DST)that enables maritime spatial planners to consider synergies and conflicts between marine uses to support assessments of co-location ***-sectoral approaches are important to reach more integrative maritime spatial planning(MSP)*** this article demonstrates through a Baltic Sea analysis,SEANERGY presents a crosssectoral use catalogue for MSP through enabling the tool users to answer important specific questions to spatially and/or numerically weight potential synergies/conflicts between marine *** article discusses to what degree such a cross-sectoral perspective can support integrative MSP *** MSP integrative challenges still exist,SEANERGY enables MSP processes to move towards developing shared goals and initiate discussions built on best available knowledge regarding potential use-use synergies and use-use conflicts for whole sea basins at once.

Background and Aims:There is an unmet need for new bi-omarkers to improve diagnostics and prognostics in primary biliary cholangitis(PBC)and primary sclerosing cholangitis(PSC).Inter-α-inhibitor heavy chain 4(ITIH4)is an abun-dant,liver-produced protein,and its synthesis may be al-tered in liver *** investigated whether ITIH4 plas-ma concentrations were affected in PBC and PSC ***:We developed an immunoassay specific for ITIH4 and determined ITIH4 plasma concentrations in 66 PBC,126 PSC,92 autoimmune hepatitis(AIH),67 chronic hepatitis C(CHC),33 alcoholic hepatitis(AH)patients and 138 healthy controls(HCs).Hepatic ITIH4 expression was investigated by immunohistochemistry in ***:The mean plas-ma concentration of ITIH4 was almost doubled in PBC[409μg/mL(95%CI:388-431)]and 35%higher in PSC[308μg/mL,(95%CI:296-319)]compared with HCs[226μg/mL(95%CI:221-231);p<0.001].In PBC patients,ITIH4 correlated with IgM(rho=0.49,p<0.001).Responders to ursodeoxycholic acid treatment(UDCA)had lower levels of ITIH4 than incomplete responders[395μg/mL(95%CI:364-425)]vs.460μg/mL(95%CI:421-498);p=0.02].Four weeks of UDCA treatment had no effect(p=0.19).In-creased ITIH4 immunohistochemical staining was seen in a liver biopsy from a PBC ***4 levels in AIH[224μg/mL(95%CI:208-241)]and HCs were similar(p=0.8).ITIH4 levels were lower in AH[199μg/mL(95%CI:175-223)]and CHC[202μg/mL(192-212)]patients than in HCs(p<0.05).Conclusions:The plasma concentration of ITIH4 was highly elevated in patients with PBC and PSC,suggesting that ITIH4 should be further investigated as a biomarker in cholestatic liver disease.

Aim: Diabetes Mellitus is a global public health challenge with major and potentially devastating complications, and concomitant complications include retinopathy and neuropathy due to hypoxia and microvascular dysfunction. In this study, we investigated the effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy as a method to transiently improve tissue oxygenation on diabetic retinopathy and neuropathy in a streptozotocin induced type-1 diabetic rat model (Wistar). Methods: Streptozotocin induced type-1 diabetic rats received 10 sessions of 2-h hyperbaric oxygen exposures (pO2 = 309 kPa) over 2 weeks. Animals were exposed to light stimuli to produce light evoked potentials to estimate the effect of oxygen treatment on diabetic retinopathy. Sciatic nerves were exposed and stimulated to produce muscle evoked potential, which were recorded in the muscles of the foot and subsequently used to evaluate the effect of oxygen treatment on diabetic neuropathy. Results: We found significantly shorter light evoked potential latency and increased amplitude in hyperbaric oxygen treated animals. No change was found in nerve conduction. Conclusions: This study showed that hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a potentially effective treatment for diabetic retinopathy, improving both latency and amplitude of light evoked potentials.

Worsening Clinical Outcome with Increasing Number of So-Called Off-Label or Unapproved Indications for Use of Drug Eluting Stents

Objective: We explored the impact of increasing number of off-label patient and lesion character-istics on 5-year clinical outcome following implantation of first generation drug eluting stents. Furthermore we tried to assess if stent performance might be improved if the off-label character-istics present were taken into account to guide the stent brand selection. Design: A total of 2888 coronary lesions treated with first generation drug eluting stents were classified for eventual presence of 18 different off-label characteristics and correlated to the 5-year clinical outcome by multiple stepwise Cox regression analysis. Results: The composite of cardiac death, myocardial infarction and target vessel revascularization (major adverse cardiac event, MACE) was 16.7% in cases with zero off-label characteristics and showed a stepwise increased rate up to 32.7% in cases with 5 off-label characteristics. The MACE rate for the sirolimus eluting stent appears to be 10% lower than the paclitaxel stent group and it may be further reduced by 10% - 18% if the off-label characteristics present in each case were taken into account to guide the stent brand selection. Conclusion: With increasing number of concomitantly appearing off-label characteristics there is a stepwise increase in MACE rate. The MACE rate may be reduced if the off-label characteristics were used to guide the stent brand selection.

Objectives: To determine the clinical outcome related to treatment failure of the percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) itself. Background: When considering the addition of PCI to the medical treatment of angina, it is necessary to know the balance between the benefit and the risk of the PCI itself, but the latter remains unknown. The usual outcome measures are imprecise because they contain events unrelated to the previous PCI and because some events clearly caused by PCI treatment failures are omitted. Methods: In total, 2098 unselected patients were randomized to receive either sirolimus-(n = 1065) or paclitaxel-(n = 1033) eluting coronary stents and followed for five years in the SORT OUT II. Any death, cardiac death, myocardial infarction (MI), stent thrombosis and documented stenosis was classified and combined to a “patient oriented clinical outcome” (POCO), the classical “major adverse cardiac events” (MACE) and the new “PCI-treatment oriented clinical outcome” (TOCO). Results: POCO occurred in 746 patients (35.6%), MACE in 467 patients (22.3%) and TOCO in 293 patients (14.0%), thus TOCO amounted to 39% of the POCO and to 63% of the MACE. Conclusion: By introduction of the present PCI treatment failure classification system, the clinical outcome of PCI-treatment itself may be credulously estimated by the rate of TOCO and eventually PCI is substantially better than what might be perceived from the classically used POCO and MACE rates.
