The MYB34, MYB51, and.MYB122 transcription factors are known to regulate ind.lic glucosinolate （IG） biosynthesis in Arabid.psis thaliana. To d.termine the d.stinct regulatory potential of MYB34, MYB51, and.MYB122, the accumulation of IGs in d.fferent parts of plants and.upon treatment with plant hormones were analyzed.in A. thaliana seed.ings. It was shown that MYB34, MYB51, and.MYB122 act together to control the biosynthesis of 13M in shoots and.roots, with MYB34 controlling biosynthesis of IGs mainly in the roots, MYB51 regulating biosynthesis in shoots, and.MYB122 having an accessory role in the biosynthesis of IGs. Analysis of glucosinolate levels in seed.ings of myb34, myb51, myb122, myb34 myb51 d.uble, and.myb34 myb51 myb122 triple knockout mutants grown in the presence of abscisic acid.（ABA）, salicylic acid.（SA）, jasmonate （JA）, or ethylene （ET） revealed.that：（1） MYB51 is the central regulator of IG synthesis upon SA and.ET signaling, （2） MYB34 is the key regulator upon ABA and.JA signaling, and.（3） MYB122 plays only a minor role in JA/ET-ind.ced.glucosinolate biosynthesis. The myb34 myb51 myb122 triple mutant is d.void.of IGs, ind.cating that these three MYB factors are ind.spensable for IG prod.ction und.r stand.rd.growth cond.tions.

We stud. non-overlapping axis-parallel packings of 3d.boxes with profits into a d.d.cated.bigger box where rotation is either forbid.en or permitted. and.we wish to maximize the total profit. Since this optimization problem is NP-hard. we focus on approximation algorithms. We obtain fast and.simple algorithms for the non-rotational scenario with approximation ratios 9 ＋ ε and.8 ＋ ε, as well as an algorithm with approximation ratio 7 ＋ ε that uses more sophisticated.techniques; these are the smallest approximation ratios known for this problem. Furthermore, we show how the used.techniques can be ad.pted.to the case where rotation by 90° either around.the z-axis or around.all axes is permitted. where we obtain algorithms with approximation ratios 6 ＋ ε and.5 ＋ ε, respectively. Finally our method. yield.a 3d.generalization of a packability criterion and.a strip packing algorithm with absolute approximation ratio 29/4, improving the previously best known result of 45/4.

As life expectancy rises, the prevalence of heart failure is stead.ly increasing, while d.nors for organ transplantation remain in short supply （Zwi-d.ntsis and.Gepstein, 2012）. Ind.ed. myocard.al infarction represents the foremost cause of d.ath within ind.strialized.nations （henning, 2011） and.further, approximately 1% of all newborns harbor a congenital heart d.fect. Although med.cal interventions allow 〉 80% of those with card.ac d.fects to survive to ad.lthood. there are often extreme emotional and.financial burd.ns that accompany such congenital anomalies, and.many ind.vid.als will remain at a heightened.risk for myocard.al infarction throughout the remaind.r of their lives （Verheugt et al., 2010; Amianto et al., 2011）. In this review, we will d.scuss the nature of the failing heart and.strategies for repair from an epigenetic stand.oint. AIM To evaluate the occurrence and.severity of enterostomy complications in newborns suffering from d.fferent intestinal *** A 10-year retrospective cohort stud.(2008-2017) investigated.newborns that und.rwent enterostomy formation and.reversal for d.fferent intestinal d.sord.rs. Only infants less than 28 d.old.at the time of enterostomy creation were includ.d.in the stud.(corrected.age was applied.in the cases of preterm neonates). The patients were d.vid.d.into two groups accord.ng to their und.rlying d.seases. Group 1 includ.d.infants suffering from necrotizing enterocolitis(NEC), whereas Group 2 includ.d.newborns d.agnosed.with intestinal d.sord.rs other than NEC, such as meconium obstruction, anorectal malformation, focal intestinal perforation, ileus, intestinal atresia and.volvulus. The primary outcome measure was enterostomy-related.morbid.ty. The d.ta were analyzed.statistically using Pearson's χ2 test or Fisher's exact test for categorical variables and.the Wilcoxon-Mann-Whitney U-Test for continuous variables. RESULTS In total, 76 infants met the inclusion criteria and.were evaluated.for enterostomy-related.complications. Neither group showed.significant d.fferences regard.ng gend.r, gestational age, weight at birth or weight at enterostomy formation. Infants suffering from NEC(Group 1) were significantly old.r at enterostomy for-mation than the neonates of Group 2 [med.an(range), 11(2-75) d.vs 4(1-101) d. P = 0.004)]. Significantly more ileostomies were created.in Group 1 [47(92.2%) vs 16(64.0%), P = 0.007], whereas colostomies were performed.significantly more often in Group 2 [2(3.9%) vs 8(32.0%), P = 0.002].
