Nanosize-effect on the distribution of heavy metals in copper smelting dust:Based on sophisticated dust sorting approach

Dust particles emitted from smelters can be hazardous to ecosystems and humans,as they are often enriched in metallic ***,we combined multi-method mineralogical analysis with a sophisticated size sorting approach for copper smelting dust to study the nanosize-effect on heavy metal distribution,which has hitherto been *** types of dust were collected from a copper flash smelter and then size-sorted using a Dekati low-pressure *** showed that all three samples could easily sort out nanoscale dust particles(<1μm,grades 10–2)and even those smaller than 100 nm(grades 5–2).Especially for electrostatic precipitators dust,the mass fraction of nanoscale dust(<1μm)could reach 10.71%.The presence of heavy metals(Pb,Zn,Cu,and As)and their mineral species in dust was examined at various particle *** was discovered that different heavy metals are enriched on nanoparticles in specific *** micron-sized particles,heavy metals are generally found in discrete phases(e.g.,CuSO_(4),PbSO_(4),and As_(2)O_(3)).In nanoscale particles,the dominant phase is Fe_(3)O_(4),while heavy metals are mostly found in lattice substitution(e.g.,CuFe_(2)O_(4)and ZnFe_(2)O_(4)).Two distinct nano-dust morphologies were found:One with irregular mesh or chain structures consisting of particles of a few nanometers,and the other with polygonal crystals in larger sizes of hundreds of *** enrichment of heavy metals in the latter morphology is more pronounced,possibly because lattice substitution of heavy metals is more likely to occur when polycrystalline particles are formed.

钢铁冶炼过程(炼铁、炼钢)会产生大量的含锌尘泥,该尘泥不宜直接返回炼铁工序,一般以厂内长期堆存或外委等方式进行处理。随着我国钢铁企业“固废不出厂”“循环经济”“绿色制造”等新理念的深入推进,在钢铁厂内部采用新型回转窑技术直接处置含锌尘泥成为大势所趋。本文介绍了传统回转窑处置含锌尘泥技术的工艺流程,从原料、生产过程和产品特点等方面分析其不足,提出采用原料造球、多喷孔分级进风等创新技术的新型回转窑处置技术,该技术明显提高了回转窑处置能力,缓解了回转窑结圈,已相继在永锋钢铁、八一钢铁、诚钰环保等钢铁企业和环保公司稳定运行,产生了良好的经济与社会效益。该技术在多固废协同处置、热渣干式冷却等方面具备应用前景。

多污染物烟气碳基法净化工艺中,SO_(2)与HCl的吸附、迁移和转化是对净化装置能否高效、安全、稳定运行的重要影响因素。以碳基法烟气净化工艺为研究对象,通过BET、XRD、FTIR和XPS等表征方法,研究了SO_(2)和HCl在活性炭表面的竞争吸附规律,分析了不同吸附工艺中SO_(2)、HCl的迁移与转化行为,核算了SO_(2)在全流程中的物质流。研究结果表明,SO_(2)和HCl在活性炭上的竞争吸附导致HCl在逆流活性炭工艺系统中存在富集现象,有可能影响脱硫脱硝装置的稳定运行。在碳基法侧向分层错流净化工艺中,活性炭料层分为前、中、后室,前室活性炭主要吸附SO_(2)并快速移出塔体,带走吸附热量;中室活性炭下料速度较慢,用于吸附低浓度SO_(2)和HCl;后室活性炭下料速度最慢,主要吸附HCl并直接排出塔体,不与高硫烟气再接触而发生氯化氢挤出效应,消除了SO_(2)吸附热积聚及HCl富集现象。在碳基法侧向分层错流净化实际工程中检测烟气出口SO_(2)和HCl质量浓度(标准态)分别为4.4、2.4 mg/m^(3),脱SO_(2)和脱HCl效率分别达到了99.3%和95.4%,实现了系统的高效稳定运行;同时该系统中SO_(2)和HCl在“吸附-解吸-制酸”全流程工序中物质流保持平衡,并通过后续制酸和酸性废水提盐实现了硫元素和氯元素的资源化利用。

富氢燃气喷吹强化烧结技术是一项可以节约烧结燃料、降低污染物排放、提高烧结矿产质量的先进技术,但是目前该技术在应用推广过程中遇到了无法与热风、烟气、蒸汽等载能气介质耦合作业的难题。通过数值仿真建模对传统装置结构开展流场分析,探明了导致多种载能气体无法耦合喷吹的根本原因是热风/烟气循环罩侧部的不均匀进风造成罩内流场紊乱;针对性研制了渐扩进气口、矩阵多孔式整流花板、稳流导流筒、反射叠喷管排等一系列核心部件,攻克了技术瓶颈,开发集成了烧结多载能气料面耦合喷吹装备系统。在国内某360 m~2烧结机生产现场投用后取得了良好效果,其台时产量提升了8 t/h,烧结工序能耗下降了2.5 kg/t,且富氢燃气的料面喷吹均匀度提升超过1倍,燃气罩内着火率降低90%,燃气顶部逃逸率降低95%,连续稳定运行周期明显延长。该项装备的研发拓宽了富氢燃气喷吹强化烧结技术的应用范围,推动了烧结工序的高效低碳化转型。

A modified stochastic model for LS+AR hybrid method and its application in polar motion short-term prediction

Short-term(up to 30 days)predictions of Earth Rotation Parameters(ERPs)such as Polar Motion(PM:PMX and PMY)play an essential role in real-time applications related to high-precision reference frame ***,least squares(LS)+auto-regressive(AR)hybrid method is one of the main techniques of PM ***,the weighted LS+AR hybrid method performs well for PM short-term ***,the corresponding covariance information of LS fitting residuals deserves further exploration in the AR *** this study,we have derived a modified stochastic model for the LS+AR hybrid method,namely the weighted LS+weighted AR hybrid *** using the PM data products of IERS EOP 14 C04,the numerical results indicate that for PM short-term forecasting,the proposed weighted LS+weighted AR hybrid method shows an advantage over both the LS+AR hybrid method and the weighted LS+AR hybrid *** to the mean absolute errors(MAEs)of PMX/PMY sho rt-term prediction of the LS+AR hybrid method and the weighted LS+AR hybrid method,the weighted LS+weighted AR hybrid method shows average improvements of 6.61%/12.08%and 0.24%/11.65%,***,for the slopes of the linear regression lines fitted to the errors of each method,the growth of the prediction error of the proposed method is slower than that of the other two methods.

A novel relationship between elastic modulus and void ratio associated with principal stress for coral calcareous sand

Elastic moduli,*** modulus G and bulk modulus K,are important parameters of geotechnical materials,which are not only the indices for the evaluation of the deformation ability of soils but also the important basic parameters for the development of the constitutive models of geotechnical *** this study,a series of triaxial loading-unloading-reloading shear tests and isotropic loading-unloadingreloading tests are conducted to study several typical mechanical properties of coral calcareous sand(CCS),and the void ratio evolution during loading,unloading and *** test results show that the stress-strain curves during multiple unloading processes are almost parallel,and their slopes are much greater than the deformation modulus at the initial stage of *** relationship between the confining pressure and the volumetric strain can be defined approximately by a hyperbolic equation under the condition of monotonic loading of confining *** the condition of confining pressure unloading,the evolution of void ratio is linear in the e-lnp0 plane,and these lines are a series of almost parallel lines if there are multiple processes of *** on the experimental results,it is found that the modified Hardin formulae for the elastic modulus estimation have a significant deviation from the tested values for *** on the experimental results,it is proposed that the elastic modulus of soils should be determined by the intersection line of two spatial surfaces in the G/K-e-p’/pa space(pa:atmosphere pressure).“ye formulation”is further proposed for the estimation of the elastic modulus of *** new estimation formulation for soil elastic modulus would provide a new method to accurately describe the mechanical behavior of granular soils.

Investigations of Water Flow Behaviors Induced by Local Temperature Variations through a Single Rough Fracture for the Enhanced Geothermal Systems

In recent years,Enhanced Geothermal System(EGS)technologies have been applied to the geothermal resources production in the Hot Dry Rock(HDR).The core of EGS technologies is to adopt hydraulic fracturing in the reservoir to create a connected network of discrete fractures with the consideration of water as a working fluid for hydraulic fracturing and heat *** paper investigates the characteristics of water flow behaviors through a single rough fracture under different temperature and pressure conditions.A single fracture model with rough fracture surfaces is constructed and then characterized,and influences of the anisotropic factor on the average tortuosity and frictional resistance coefficient of water flow through a single fracture with rough surfaces have been compared and *** consideration of other impacting factors(temperature,pressure,fracture roughness),the impact of mass flow rate has also been *** simulation results present that changes of average tortuosity for water flow through a single rough facture are mainly affected by *** can be observed that higher temperature leads to larger average tortuosity but the frictional resistance coefficient shows an opposite *** for pressure conditions,it is found that effects of pressure on average tortuosity and frictional resistance coefficient is very small,which can be neglected under high pressure ***,the average tortuosity shows a progressively linear relationship with the mass flow *** the contrary,the frictional resistance coefficient has a negative relationship with the mass flow *** is revealed that when the mass flow rate reaches a critical point,the influences of temperature on the frictional resistance coefficient will be *** of single rough fractures with different anisotropic factors show that values of average tortuosity and frictional resistance coefficient have positive relationships with the increase

Soft coarse-grained particle model for particle-fluid systems

By modeling a group of neighboring real particles as a single coarse-grained particle(CGP),discrete particle method(DPM)is now capable of simulating industrial-scale particle-fluid ***,a systematic approach to determine the CGP properties and develop their interaction models is still lacking,which casts uncertainty on the predictivity of the *** this study,collisions between predefined particle groups are analyzed to construct kernel functions for modeling the CGPs and then the model parameters are determined by equating the statistical properties of the CGPs and the real particles in the physical process *** approach is implemented for homogeneous cooling of granular gas,then demonstrated effective in simulating experimental fluidized beds.

A Review on Vibration Control of Multiple Cylinders Subjected to FlowInduced Vibrations

The fatigue damage caused by flow-induced vibration(FIV)is one of the major concerns for multiple cylindrical structures in many engineering *** FIV suppression is of great importance for the security of many cylindrical *** active and passive control methods have been employed for the vibration suppression of an isolated cylinder undergoing vortex-induced vibrations(VIV).The FIV suppression methods are mainly extended to the multiple cylinders from the vibration control of the isolated *** to the mutual interference between the multiple cylinders,the FIV mechanism is more complex than the VIV mechanism,which makes a great challenge for the FIV *** efforts have been devoted to vibration suppression of multiple cylinder systems undergoing FIV over the past two *** control methods,such as helical strakes,splitter plates,control rods and flexible sheets,are not always effective,depending on many influence factors,such as the spacing ratio,the arrangement geometrical shape,the flow velocity and the parameters of the vibration control *** FIV response,hydrodynamic features and wake patterns of the multiple cylinders equipped with vibration control devices are reviewed and *** FIV suppression efficiency of the vibration control methods are analyzed and compared considering different influence *** research on the FIV suppression of multiple cylinders is suggested to provide insight for the development of FIV control methods and promote engineering applications of FIV control methods.
