Teflon film was prepared by ion beam enhanced deposition method. The structure and microtribological properties were studied by PH1-5300, FT-IR, XRD and atomic force and friction force microscope (AFM/FFM). The results show that the deposited Teflon is in crystalline state, and its structure is the same as the bulk Teflon. There are two periods in the friction and wear tests for Teflon film. When the load is less than 70 nN, the micro friction is linear with the load, and the Teflon does not have the lubricity. But when the load is greater than 70 nN, the friction force of Teflon film will stay nearly constant, and worn marks will be created in the friction and wear process. The worn depth of Teflon film increases linearly with the load. (Edited author abstract) 10 Refs.

Genomic selection is more and more popular in animal and plant breeding industries all around the world, as it can be applied early in life without impacting selection candidates. The objective of this study was to bring the advantages of genomic selection to scallop breeding. Two different genomic selection tools Mix P and gsbay were applied on genomic evaluation of simulated data and Zhikong scallop(Chlamys farreri) field data. The data were compared with genomic best linear unbiased prediction(GBLUP) method which has been applied widely. Our results showed that both Mix P and gsbay could accurately estimate single-nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) marker effects, and thereby could be applied for the analysis of genomic estimated breeding values(GEBV). In simulated data from different scenarios, the accuracy of GEBV acquired was ranged from 0.20 to 0.78 by Mix P; it was ranged from 0.21 to 0.67 by gsbay; and it was ranged from 0.21 to 0.61 by GBLUP. Estimations made by Mix P and gsbay were expected to be more reliable than those estimated by GBLUP. Predictions made by gsbay were more robust, while with Mix P the computation is much faster, especially in dealing with large-scale data. These results suggested that both algorithms implemented by Mix P and gsbay are feasible to carry out genomic selection in scallop breeding, and more genotype data will be necessary to produce genomic estimated breeding values with a higher accuracy for the industry.

The microstructure of CdI2 thin film grown during vapor-phase deposition was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The thin film deposited on Si crystal consists of numerous sunflower-like aggregates. These aggregates display well self-assembly characteristics. The size of Sunflower-like aggregates is between 12 and 44 μm. Each sunflower-like aggregate is surrounded with many adjacent wings-'petals'. The structure of central region of the 'sunflower' is obviously difFerent from that of the 'petal'. Electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis (ESCA) was employed in determining the chemical valence of the thin film. Self-organization efFect is used to explain the coring growth process of CdI2 thin film

A large number of particles evaporated from liquid iodine deposited on the wall of a glass container. The deposits demonstrate three structural shapes:globule chain,network formation,and dendrite. The globule chain displays clearly self-similar feature,and can be characterized by fractal geometry. The fractal dimension of the globule chain patterns ranges from D=1.50 to *** in situ sublimat- ing process of an iodine fractal aggregate was *** revealed reversal of the random growth process under nonequilibrium *** analytical results show that the nucleation-aggregation (NA) model can explain the growth process of iodine fractal aggregate.

The enhancement of adhesion between deposited metal layers(Ti and Cu)and the oxide substrates at RT and 300°c respectively was studied by argon ion irradiation to various *** experimental results showed that the adhesive strength increased after a threshold dose irradiation and reached as aturation value at higher doses in all metal/oxide *** spectra showed that chemical reaction had taken place in Ti/oxide case,while in Cu/oxide case,both RBS and XPS analysis showed that no evidence of such reaction had been induced.

The preparation and construction of sensitizer electrodes and dye sensitized solar cells based on metal organic frameworks (MOFs) of (metallo)porphyrin/phthalocyanine were projected.

乙酰辅酶A脱氢酶(ACAD)是由核基因编码存在于线粒体中黄色酶的一个家族,它催化脂肪酸的α和β-氧化,该家族第八成员负责催化缬氨酸分解代谢。本研究中获得了牛的ACAD8基因的mRNA和基因组DNA序列并通过基因组DNA与mRNA的比对确定了其基因结构。其mRNA序列包含一个1,251 bp的开放阅读框,一个37 bp 的5′非翻译区和一个 444 bp 的 3′非翻译区;其基因组DNA全长13,814 bp,包含11个外显子和10个内含子。我们从样本中随机选取6个个体进行扩增测序,结果表明牛的ACAD8基因13,408位(GenBank登录号:DQ435445)一个A-G单核苷酸多态。运用PCR-RFLP对不同的基因型进行了区分。对该SNP与来自5个品种共178头无亲缘关系的牛的生产性状进行了关联分析,结果表明:该A-G单核苷酸多态对日增重和嫩度有显著影响(P < 0.05)。具有G等位基因的牛比具有A等位基因的牛生长较快,其肉质也较嫩。因此,牛ACAD8基因在该位点的单核苷酸多态可以作为提高生长速度和牛肉嫩度的标记。
