Plane charge explosion technique (PCET) is one of the major techniques frequently used in large-scale blast-resistant structure tests. An FEM model was established, which can simulate the process of air releasing from the blast cavity. The effects of the charge density, the interval of the charge strip, the distance of the charges from the structure, and the mass of backfill soil on the overpressures applied on the tested structures were analyzed by the FEM model. The quantitative relationships between the peak value and the duration of the overpressure and the above-mentioned affecting parameters were established. Agreement between numerical results and the test data was obtained.

A good mechanical model of magnetorheological damper (MRD) is essential to predict the shock isolation performance of MRD in numerical simulation. But at present, the mechanical models of MRD were all derived from the experiment subjected to harmonic vibration loads. In this paper, a commercial MRD (type RD-1005-3) manufactured by Lord Corporation was studied ex-perimentally in order to investigate its isolation performance under the impact loads. A new me-chanical model of MRD was proposed according to the data obtained by impact test. A good agreement between the numerical results and test data was observed, which showed that the model was good to simulate the dynamic properties of MRD under impact loads. It is also demon-strated that MRD can improve the acceleration and displacement response of the structure obvi-ously under impact loads.

Photothermal therapy(PTT)may lead to healthy tissue damage,tumor metastasis,and recurrence,which makes mild photothermal therapy(mild PTT)stand ***,overcoming heat resistance,insufficient therapeutic effect,and poor photothermal conversion efficiency has become new ***,we report a dynamic supramolecular nanocarrier formed from amide-sericin and aldehyde-polyhydroxy glucan(denoted as SDA),the loose cavity of which can be filled by using the pharmaceutical combination of lonidamine(LND)and NIR-II photothermal agent of IR-1061,producing SDLI with a tighter inner hole,smaller and uniform particle size and excellent stability due to multiple pulling ***,the intricate internal network structure prevents the hydrophobic IR-1061 from forming aggregates in the small cavity,and the photothermal conversion efficiency(PCE)can reach 48.9%.At the acidic tumor microenvironment of pH 6.5,the controlled release of LND can solve the problem of heat resistance of NIR-II mild PTT and significantly improve the therapeutic effect of NIR-II mild ***,SDLI also shows a reasonable tumor inhibition rate,so the synergistic strategy of inhibiting tumor energy metabolism and NIR-II mild PTT to magnify mitochondrial oxidative stress,continuous cell stress state-induced immunogenic cell death to promote the induction of tumor apoptosis is proposed to achieve more effective cancer treatment.

This paper addresses the controllability measures of composite networks based on graph products, in which the graph product networks are either Kronecker product networks or Kronecker sum *** primary objective pursued here is to reveal the controllability Gramian-based measure links between the graph product composite network and its subnetworks. First, the analytical expression of the average controllability for the Kronecker product network is derived by using the corresponding controllability measures of its subnetworks. An upper bound of volumetric control energy is further obtained for the Kronecker product network. Then, the upper bounds are derived for the controllability measures of the Kronecker sum network,which provide a valuable reference for designing controllable networks in practical applications. Finally, the controllability of the Kronecker product network is compared with that of the Kronecker sum network, and it is found that when the subnetworks satisfy certain conditions, the Kronecker product network has better average controllability than the Kronecker sum network.

An early scoring system to predict mechanical ventilation for botulism: a single-center-based study

BACKGROUND: Early identification of patients requiring ventilator support will be beneficial for the outcomes of botulism. The present study aimed to establish a new scoring system to predict mechanical ventilation(MV) for botulism ***: A single-center retrospective study was conducted to identify risk factors associated with MV in botulism patients from 2007 to 2022. Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to screen out risk factors for constructing a prognostic scoring system. The area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve was ***: A total of 153 patients with botulism(66 males and 87 females, with an average age of 43 years) were included. Of these, 49 patients(32.0%) required MV, including 21(13.7%) with invasive ventilation and 28(18.3%) with non-invasive ventilation. Multivariate analysis revealed that botulinum toxin type, pneumonia, incubation period, degree of hypoxia, and severity of muscle involvement were independent risk factors for MV. These risk factors were incorporated into a multivariate logistic regression analysis to establish a prognostic scoring system. Each risk factor was scored by allocating a weight based on its regression coefficient and rounded to whole numbers for practical utilization([botulinum toxin type A: 1], [pneumonia: 2], [incubation period ≤1 day: 2], [hypoxia <90%: 2], [severity of muscle involvement: grade Ⅱ, 3;gradeⅢ, 7;grade IV, 11]). The scoring system achieved an area under the ROC curve of 0.82(95% CI 0.75–0.89, P<0.001). At the optimal threshold of 9, the scoring system achieved a sensitivity of 83.7% and a specificity of 70.2%.CONCLUSION: Our study identified botulinum toxin type, pneumonia, incubation period, degree of hypoxia, and severity of muscle involvement as independent risk factors for MV in botulism patients. A score ≥9 in our scoring system is associated with a higher likelihood of requiring MV in botulism patients. This scoring

Cation additives can efficiently enhance the total electrochemical capabilities of zinc-ion hybrid capacitors (ZHCs).However their energy storage mechanisms in zinc-based systems are still under ***,we modulate the electrolyte and achieve dual-ion storage by adding magnesium *** we assemble several Zn//activated carbon devices with different electrolyte concentrations and investigate their electrochemical reaction dynamic *** zinc-ion capacitor with Mg^(2+)mixed solution delivers 82 mAh·g^(-1)capacity at 1 A·g^(-1) and maintains 91%of the original capacitance after 10000 *** is superior to the other assembled zinc-ion devices in single-component *** finding demonstrates that the double-ion storage mechanism enables the superior rate performance and long cycle lifetime of ZHCs.

Stainless steels are used in a wide range of complex environments due to their excellent corrosion *** stainless steels can offer an excellent combination of strength,toughness and corrosion resistance due to the coexistence of different *** microstructure and mechanical properties of a novel cast multiphase stainless steel,composed of martensite,ferrite,and austenite,were investigated following appropriate heat treatment processes:solution treatment at 1,050℃ for 0.5 h followed by water quenching to room temperature,and aging treatment at 500℃ for 4 h followed by water quenching to room *** show reversed austenite is formed by diffusion of Ni element during aging process,and the enrichment of Ni atoms directly determines the mechanical stability of *** austenite with a lower Ni content undergoes a martensitic transformation during plastic *** tensile strength of the specimen exceeds 1,100 MPa and the elongation exceeds 24%after solid solution,and further increases to 1,247 MPa and 25%after aging *** enhancement is due to the TRIP effect of austenite and the precipitation of the nanoscale G-phase pinning dislocations in ferrite and martensite.

Oxygen vacancies enable modulating surface reconstruction of transition metal oxides containing metal-oxygen polyhedrons into metallic oxyhydroxide for oxygen evolution reaction(OER),while revealing reconstructing mechanism is stuck by the requirement to precisely control exact sites of these ***,oxygen vacancies are localized only within MoO_(4)tetrahedrons rather than CoO_(6)octahedrons in CoMoO_(4)catalyst,guaranteeing coherent reconstruction of CoO_(6)octahedrons into pure CoOOH with tunable activities for ***,distorted tetrahedron accelerates the dissolution of Mo atoms into alkaline electrolyte,triggering spontaneous transition of partial CoMoO_(4)into Co(OH)_(2).CoO_(6)octahedrons in both CoMoO_(4)and Co(OH)_(2)can transform pure CoOOH completely at lower potential,resulting in excess intrinsic activity whose summit is identified by overpotential at 10 mA cm^(-2)with 22.9%reduction and Tafel slope with 65.3%***-defined manipulation over the distorted polyhedrons offers one versatile knob to precisely modulate electronic structure of oxide catalysts with outstanding OER performance.
