A Creative Approach to Reducing Ambiguity in Scenario-based Software Architecture Analysis

In software engineering, a scenario describes an anticipated usage of a software system. As scenarios are useful to understand the requirements and functionalities of a software system, the scenario-based analysis is widely used in various tasks, especially in the design stage of software architectures. Although researchers have proposed various scenario-based approaches to analyse software architecture, there are still limitations in this research field, and a key limitation is that scenarios are typically not formally defined and thus may contain ambiguities. As these ambiguities may lead to defects, it is desirable to reduce them as many as possible. In order to reduce ambiguity in scenario-based software architecture analysis, this paper introduces a creative computing approach to scenario-based software requirements analysis. Our work expands this idea in three directions. Firstly, we extend an architecture description language(ADL)-based language – Breeze/ADL to model the software architecture. Secondly, we use a creative rule – combinational rule(CR) to combine the vector clock algorithm for reducing the ambiguities in modelling scenarios. Then, another creative rule – transformational rule(TR) is employed to help to transform our Breeze/ADL model to a popular model – unified modelling language(UML) model. We implement our approach as a plugin of Breeze, and illustrate a running example of modelling a poetry to music system in our case *** results show the proposed creative approach is able to reduce ambiguities of the software architecture in practice.

AIM: Dendritomas formed by fusing cancer cells to dendritic cells have already been applied to clinical treatment trial of several types of cancers. Dendritic cells for the fusion in most trials and experiments were from blood monocytes in standard 7-d protocol culture, which requires 5-7 d of culture with granulocyte-macrophage-colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) and interleukin-4 (IL-4), followed by 2-3 d of activation with a combination of proinflammatory mediators such as tumor necrosis factorα (TNFα), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2).One study showed that mature monocyte-derived dendritic cells could be obtained within 48 h of in vitro culture with the same protocol as standard 7-d culture and referred to as FastDCs. Here we aimed to fuse human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line HCCLM3 cells with mature monocytederived dendritic cells within 48 h of in vitro culture (FastDC).METHODS: HCCLM3 cells were cultured in RPMI 1640 with 150 mL/L fetal calf serum (FCS). CD14+monocytes from healthy human peripheral blood were purified with MACS CD14 isolation kit and cultured in six-well plates in fresh complete DC medium containing RPMI-1640, 20 mL/L heat inactivated human AB serum, 2 mmol/1 L-glutamine,100 μg/mL gentamicin, 1000 U/mL GM-CSF and 500 U/mL IL-4 for 24 h, then proinflammatory mediators such as TNFα(1000 U/mL), IL-1β (10 ng/mL), IL-6 (10 ng/mL) and PGE2(1 μg/mL) were supplemented for another 24 h, and thus mature FastDCs were generated. HCCLM3 cells and FastDCs were labeled with red fluorescent dye PKH26-GL and green fluorescent dye PKH67-GL respectively. After the red fluorescent-stained HCCLM3 cells were irradiated with 50 Gy, FastDCs and irradiated HCCLM3 cells were fused in 500 mL/1 polyethylene glycol(PEG)+100 mL/L dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) to generate novel dendritornas. Dynamic Resource Allocation in TDD-Based Heterogeneous Cloud Radio Access Networks

To fulfill the explosive growth of network capacity, fifth generation(5G) standard has captured the attention and imagination of researchers and engineers around the world. In particular, heterogeneous cloud radio access network(H-CRAN), as a promising network paradigm in 5G system, is a hot research topic in recent years. However, the densely deployment of RRHs in H-CRAN leads to downlink/uplink traffic asymmetry and severe inter-cell interference which could seriously impair the network throughput and resource utilization. To simultaneously solve these two problems, we proposed a dynamic resource allocation(DRA) scheme for H-CRAN in TDD mode. Firstly, we design a clustering algorithm to group the RRHs into different sets. Secondly, we adopt coordinated multipoint technology to eliminate the interference in each set. Finally, we formulate the joint frame structure, power and subcarrier selection problem as a mixed strategy noncooperative game. The simulation results are presented to validate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm by compared with the existing work.

Local-scale systems input-output analysis of embodied water for the Beijing economy in 2007

Using the most detailed and recent statistics available for Beijing, a local-scale embodiment analysis on water use was conducted, employing a systems input- output analysis that integrates economic systems with natural resources data. Systems analysis for water research at the local scale is a crucial part of a systems oriented water accounting framework. To our knowledge, however, related works have not been thoroughly conducted. In this paper, a set of embodied water intensity inventory data is presented, which is applicable to both intermediate input and final demand. Also, detailed analyses of Beijing＇s embodied water use accounting are presented. The embodied water intensity of the. Water Production and Supply Industry Sector turns out to be the highest among the 42 sectors. For water embodied in final demand, the total amount is 3.48 km3, of which the water embodied in urban household consumption makes up nearly a half proportion. As a net virtual water importer, Beijing＇s water embodied in commodity trade totals 5.84× 10^8m3. As a result, in addition to improvements in technology and water use efficiency, adjustments in industrial structure and trade policies are algo of significant importance to water conservation efforts.

Optimal distributed power allocation for a new spectrum sharing paradigm in cognitive radio networks

The problem of power allocation in cognitive radio networks plays an important role to improve the efficiency of spectrum utilization. However, most of previous works focus on the power allocation for secondary users in spectrum sharing overlay or spectrum sharing underlay, which needs to frequently handoff between the idle spectrum bands or considers the interference constraints in all spectrum bands respectively. In order to reduce the handoff and fully utilize the spectrum resource, we propose a new spectrum sharing paradigm which not only can just need to adjust the transmit power in spectrum bands instead of frequently handoff between idle spectrum bands, but can fully utilize the spectrum resource as we only consider the interference power constraints in active spectrum bands rather than in all spectrum bands. Then based on this new spectrum sharing paradigm and the constraint conditions, we study the distributed power allocation for secondary users and formulate the optimization problem as a non-cooperative game problem, after that the variational inequality approach is used to solve this game problem and a Nash equilibria solution is got, finally simulation results are illustrated to demonstrate the performance of the proposed scheme.

Energy aware hierarchical cluster-based routing protocol for WSNs

Wireless sensor networks（WSNs） are emerging as essential and popular ways of providing pervasive computing environments for various applications. Unbalanced energy consumption is an inherent problem in WSNs, characterized by multi-hop routing and a many-to-one traffic pattern. This uneven energy dissipation can significantly reduce network lifetime. In multi-hop sensor networks, information obtained by the monitoring nodes need to be routed to the sinks, the energy consumption rate per unit information transmission depends on the choice of the next hop node. In an energy-aware routing approach, most proposed algorithms aim at minimizing the total energy consumption or maximizing network lifetime. In this paper, we propose a novel energy aware hierarchical cluster-based（NEAHC） routing protocol with two goals： minimizing the total energy consumption and ensuring fairness of energy consumption between nodes. We model the relay node choosing problem as a nonlinear programming problem and use the property of convex function to find the optimal solution. We also evaluate the proposed algorithm via simulations at the end of this paper.

SELF-ASSEMBLY OF LINEAR TRIBLOCK COPOLYMERS UNDER CYLINDRICAL NANOPORE CONFINEMENTS

The self-assembly of linear ABC triblock copolymers under cylindrical confinements is investigated in two- dimensional space using the real-space self-consistent field theory. The effects of confinement degrees and preferential strengths on the triblock copolymer phase behaviors with special polymer parameters are first considered. On one hand, different confinement degrees cause different phase behaviors in nanopores with the neutral surfaces. Moreover, the strongly preferential surface fields can surpass the confinement degrees and volume fractions in determing the confined phase behaviors. On the other hand, in contrast, confined morphologies are more sensitive to the variations in the A-preferential surface field strength. Subsequently, the incompatibility degrees between different blocks are systematically varied under cylindrical nanopore confinements. Under cylindrical nanopore confinements, the morphologies are very sensitive to the variations in the incompatibility degrees. Meanwhile, nanopore confinements can affect order-disorder and order-order transition points in the bulk. The corresponding free, internal, and entropic energies as well as the order parameters are also quantificationally examined to deeply investigate the confined phase mechanisms, and a number of morphological transitions are confirmed to be of first-order. These findings may guide the design of novel nanostructures based on triblock copolymers by introducing confinements.

Microstructure evolution and strengthening mechanisms of a high-performance TiN-reinforced Al-Mn-Mg-Sc-Zr alloy processed by laser powder bed fusion

In this work,a high-strength crack-free TiN/Al-Mn-Mg-Sc-Zr composite was fabricated by laser powder bed fusion(L-PBF).A large amount of uniformly distributed L1_(2)-Al_(3)(Ti,Sc,Zr)nanoparticles were formed during the L-PBF process due to the partial melting and decomposition of TiN nanoparticles under a high *** L1_(2)-Al_(3)(Ti,Sc,Zr)nanoparticles exhibited a highly coherent lattice relationship with the Al *** the prepared TiN/Al-Mn-Mg-Sc-Zr composite samples exhibit ultrafine grain *** addition,the as-built composite containing 1.5 wt%TiN shows an excellent tensile prop-erty with a yield strength of over 580 MPa and an elongation of over 8%,which were much higher than those of wrought 7xxx *** effects of various strengthening mechanisms were quantitatively estimated and the high strength of the alloy was mainly attributed to the refined microstructure,solid solution strengthening,and precipitation strengthening contributed by L1_(2)-Al_(3)(Ti,Sc,Zr)nanoparticles.

Trimethoprim(TMP)is a typical antibiotic to treat infectious disease,which is among the most commonly detected antibacterial agents in natural waters and municipal *** the present study,the impacts of dissolved oxygen(DO)on the oxidation efficiency and pathways of TMP by reaction with sulfate radicals(SO_(4)^(-1))were *** results revealed that the presence of DO was favourable for TMP ***,TMP would react initially with SO_(4)^(-1)via electron-transfer process to form a carbon-centered *** the absence of oxygen,the carbon-centered radical could undergo hydrolysis to produceα-hydroxytrimethoprim(TMPàOH),followed by the further oxidation which generatedα-ketotrimethoprim(TMP=O).However,in the presence of oxygen,the carbon-centered radical would alternatively combine with oxygen,leading to a sequential reaction in which peroxyl radical and a tetroxide were formed,and finally generated TMPàOH and TMP=O *** proposed pathways were further confirmed by density functional theory(DFT)*** results obtained in this study would emphasize the significance of DO on the oxidation of organic micropollutants by SO_(4)^(-1).
