In this present time,Human Activity Recognition(HAR)has been of considerable aid in the case of health monitoring and *** exploitation of machine learning with an intelligent agent in the area of health informatics gathered using HAR augments the decision-making quality and *** many research works conducted on Smart Healthcare Monitoring,there remain a certain number of pitfalls such as time,overhead,and falsification involved during ***,this paper proposes a Statistical Partial Regression and Support Vector Intelligent Agent Learning(SPR-SVIAL)for Smart Healthcare *** first,the Statistical Partial Regression Feature Extraction model is used for data preprocessing along with the dimensionality-reduced features extraction ***,the input dataset the continuous beat-to-beat heart data,triaxial accelerometer data,and psychological characteristics were acquired from IoT wearable *** attain highly accurate Smart Healthcare Monitoring with less time,Partial Least Square helps extract the dimensionality-reduced *** that,with these resulting features,SVIAL is proposed for Smart Healthcare Monitoring with the help of Machine Learning and Intelligent Agents to minimize both analysis falsification and *** evaluation is carried out for factors such as time,overhead,and false positive rate accuracy concerning several *** quantitatively analyzed results indicate the better performance of our proposed SPR-SVIAL method when compared with two state-of-the-art methods.

This paper discusses the use of atmospheric pressure dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)plasma treatment to enhance the surface qualities of viscose *** study explores the effects of different plasma gases,discharge voltages,and exposure times on the treated *** findings emphasize the importance of optimizing the plasma's peak voltage to achieve the desired surface treatment *** document also presents data on colour strength,wettability,colour fastness,and tensile strength of the treated fabrics,as well as scanning electron microscopy(SEM)analysis of surface morphology and chemical analysis using fouriertransition infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and energy dispersive X-ray(EDX).The results show that treatment at a peak voltage of 11.83 k V is more efficient,except for the tensile strength which is enhanced at a peak voltage of 8.92 k *** oxygen plasma treatment significantly improves the colour strength,which exhibits an increase from 11 to *** intensified colour was attributed to the significant influence of electrostatic interactions between the charged hydroxyl groups of the oxygen plasma treated viscose textiles and the dye molecules,which enhance the *** oxygen DBD plasma exhibits a higher ability to enhance the properties of textiles when compared to air and argon *** study presents a sustainable,economical,secure,and ecologically friendly approach to explore new fabrics for specific uses.

Background: Cardiovascular complications are a major clinical problem in uremic patients accounting for 44% of all deaths in this population. Angiopoietin cytokines are involved with controlling micro vascular permeability, vasodilatation and vasoconstriction by signaling smooth muscle cells surrounding vessels. Aim: To assess Angiopoietin-2 serum level as an early marker of cardiovascular risks in children with chronic kidney disease on regular hemodialysis and correlate with intimal medial thickness and echo data in those children. Patients and methods: The study included 40 children with CKD on regular hemodialysis (HD), and they were selected from the hemodialysis unit of Al-Zahraa Hospital, Al-Azhar University, during the period from December 2014 to April 2015. Another group of 40 apparently healthy children, matches age and sex with patients group as a controls. Angiopoietin-2 serum level, Doppler ultrasound (U/S) to assess: intima-media thickness (IMT) and the peak systolic velocity (PSV) of the main arteries including the (aorta, carotid and femoral) arteries, conventional echo and tissue Doppler imaging (TDI) of mitral and tricuspid annular velocities are obtained for both groups. Results: Children on regular HD have significantly higher (Angiopoietin-2) serum level compared to their controls, and it is (161.35 ± 38.30 ng/ml) and (9.25 ± 12.64 ng/ml) respectively (p, 0.000) and increases in the aorta, carotid and femoral (IMT) with significant increase in their mean systolic velocities in patients group compared to the controls. Significant increase in tricuspid valve late diastolic velocity (TVA vel m/s) and (E/e’ ratio) obtained by (TDI), its abnormalities threshold is detected in patients group than controls, with significant increase right ventricular systolic pulmonary pressure in patients compared to the controls. Analyzing big data, especially medical data, helps to provide good health care to patients and face the risks of death. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on public health worldwide, emphasizing the need for effective risk prediction models. Machine learning (ML) techniques have shown promise in analyzing complex data patterns and predicting disease outcomes. The accuracy of these techniques is greatly affected by changing their parameters. Hyperparameter optimization plays a crucial role in improving model performance. In this work, the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm was used to effectively search the hyperparameter space and improve the predictive power of the machine learning models by identifying the optimal hyperparameters that can provide the highest accuracy. A dataset with a variety of clinical and epidemiological characteristics linked to COVID-19 cases was used in this study. Various machine learning models, including Random Forests, Decision Trees, Support Vector Machines, and Neural Networks, were utilized to capture the complex relationships present in the data. To evaluate the predictive performance of the models, the accuracy metric was employed. The experimental findings showed that the suggested method of estimating COVID-19 risk is effective. When compared to baseline models, the optimized machine learning models performed better and produced better results.

Microbially induced carbonate precipitation(MICP)is a new technology having the potential to induce soil stabilization and provide a green and sustainable comprehensive solution to some geotechnical engineering problems in the *** present article is dedicated to present a critical review of this technology and discuss its mechanisms of action and the key factors influencing its *** global experiences and national participation from Egypt are demonstrated,in addition to attempts for real life *** review provides an insight into the practical steps taken to mitigate some of the current limitations of MICP application and the identified gaps in analogous *** was concluded that integrating MICP with existing technologies would favor both engineering needs and market *** addition,providing effective solutions to MICP limitations would highlight this technology as an eco-friendly and cost-effective option to several engineering ***,recommendations focused on encouraging global collaboration for knowledge transfer about this technology among different countries,as well as positive financial support from industrial entities to aid in the progress of scientific research and achieving large-scale applications in the near future,are provided.

Rogowski coils(RCs)are widely used to measure power or high frequency currents based on their *** this paper,two types of RCs that are circular(traditional)and cylindrical shapes wound using wire covered by varnish are *** construction is carried out to be suitable for monitoring the discharge current of the surge arrester installed in the distribution *** high frequency RC modeling for both types considering transfer function is ***-integrating for both types is ***,the experimental tests using function generator for both coils are carried out to identify the parameters of the transfer function representing the introduced *** measured signals for current and induced voltages are denoised for the parameter identification *** denoised process is achieved using the MATLAB code‘wdenoise’while the parameters are estimated using the system identification *** of the proposed model is achieved using experimental results for the two *** sensitivity of the two coils is investigated based on the induced output *** application concerning the two coils for monitoring the discharge current of the surge arrester is *** results confirm the accuracy of the introduced RC model,as well as the performance of the cylindrical shape,is better than the traditional *** simulation is carried out using MATLAB and ATPDraw programs.

Advanced Metering Infrastructure(AMI)is the metering network of the smart grid that enables bidirectional communications between each consumer’s premises and the provider’s control *** massive amount of data collected supports the real-time decision-making required for diverse *** communication infrastructure relies on different network types,including the *** makes the infrastructure vulnerable to various attacks,which could compromise security or have devastating ***,traditional machine learning solutions cannot adapt to the increasing complexity and diversity of *** objective of this paper is to develop an Anomaly Detection System(ADS)based on deep learning using the CIC-IDS2017 ***,this dataset is highly imbalanced;thus,a two-step sampling technique:random under-sampling and the Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique(SMOTE),is proposed to balance the *** proposed system utilizes a multiple hidden layer Auto-encoder(AE)for feature extraction and dimensional *** addition,an ensemble voting based on both Random Forest(RF)and Convolu-tional Neural Network(CNN)is developed to classify the multiclass attack *** proposed system is evaluated and compared with six different state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning algorithms:Random Forest(RF),Light Gradient Boosting Machine(LightGBM),eXtreme Gradient Boosting(XGboost),Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM),and bidirectional LSTM(biLSTM).Experimental results show that the proposed model enhances the detection for each attack class compared with the other machine learning and deep learning models with overall accuracy(98.29%),precision(99%),recall(98%),F_(1) score(98%),and the UNDetection rate(UND)(8%).
