Ammonia(NH3)production via the electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)is a promising method for sustainable generation of this important *** are ongoing in finding an efficient,stable,and selective catalyst that will enable the ***,progress is hindered in the field due to lack of reproducibility,most likely a consequence of reports of false-positive results due to improper measurement control and *** this study,we explore the NRR activity of a promising class of single atom catalysts,transition metal-nitrogen-carbon(M-N-C)*** a state-of-the-art in-line ammonia quantification methodology,with detection limit as low as 1 ppb for ammonia,we show that single atom Nb and Fe embedded in a stable carbon and nitrogen framework do not electrochemically reduce N_(2) to NH_(3).Critically,this demonstrates that our experimental setup with in-line sequential injection analysis successfully excludes ammonia contamination from the gas supply and atmospheric sources,allowing for thorough and high-throughput examination of potential NRR catalysts.

目的旨在通过系统综述,确定针对复杂慢性病患者增强自我管理的干预措施,以改善慢性呼吸困难,为护理人员促进该类人群的自我管理提供依据。方法2023年12月,系统检索Medline、Scopus、Web of Science、CINAHL、Cochrane图书馆和乔安娜布里格斯研究所(Joanna Briggs Institute,JBI)循证实践数据库。对纳入研究进行数据提取和综合,研究人员采用Rayyan文献管理软件筛选标题及摘要,并依据JBI研究质量评估工具进行方法学质量评估。结果共纳入18项研究。这些研究探讨了针对慢性呼吸困难的各种干预措施,包括药物干预(氧气疗法和吸入疗法)和非药物方法(教育计划、呼吸练习、液体摄入管理、身体感知技术、同伴支持、情商培训和网络应用程序的使用)。这些干预措施减轻了患者情绪困扰,可以使患者在自我管理方面变得独立自主。结论促进复杂慢性病患者对慢性呼吸困难的自我管理需要采取综合方法,但目前研究中没有充分考虑到针对患者行为改变的干预措施,需要进一步开展相关研究完善干预措施。

Birds and other animals are frequently killed by cars,causing the death of many million individuals per *** some species are killed more often than others has never been *** this work hypothesized that risk taking behavior may affect the probability of certain kinds of individuals being killed disproportionately ***,behavior of individuals on roads,abundance,habitat preferences,breeding sociality,and health status may all potentially affect the risk of being killed on *** used information on the abundance of road kills and the abundance in the surrounding environment of 50 species of birds obtained during regular censuses in 2001 2006 in a rural site in denmark to test these *** frequency of road kills increased linearly with abundance,while the proportion of individuals sitting on the road or flying low across the road only explained little additional variation in frequency of road *** having accounted for abundance,we found that species with a short flight distance and hence taking greater risks when approached by a potential cause of danger were killed disproportionately *** addition,solitary species,species with a high prevalence of Plasmodium infection,and species with a large bursa of Fabricius for their body size had a high susceptibility to being killed by *** findings suggest that a range of different factors indicative of risk-taking behavior,visual acuity and health status cause certain bird species to be susceptible to casualties due to cars.

We developed a vegetation geo-climatic zonation incorporating the zonal concept, gradient and discriminant analysis in Wasatch Range, northern Utah, USA. Mountainous forest ecosystems were sampled and described by vegetation, physiographic features and soil properties. The Snowpack Telemetry and National Weather Service Cooperative Observer Program weather station networks were used to approximate the climate of sample plots. We analysed vegetation and environmental data using clustering, ordination, classification, and ANOVA techniques to reveal environmental gradients affecting a broad vegetation pattern and discriminate these gradients. The specific objective was to assess and classify the response of the complex vegetation to those environmental factors operating at a coarse-scale climatic level. Ordination revealed the dominant role of regional, altitude-based climate in the area. Based on vegetation physiognomy, represented by five tree species, climatic data and taxonomic classification of zonal soils, we identified two vegetation geo-climatic zones:(1) a montane zone, with Rocky Mountain juniper and douglas-fir; and(2) a subalpine zone, with Engelmann spruce and subalpine fir as climatic climax species. Aspen was excluded from the zonation due to its great ecological amplitude. We found significant differences between the zones in regional climate and landformgeomorphology/soils. Regional climate was represented by elevation, precipitation, and air and soil temperatures; and geomorphology by soil types. This coarse-scale vegetation geo-climatic zonation provides a framework for a comprehensive ecosystem survey, which is missing in the central Rocky Mountains of the United States. The vegetation-geoclimatic zonation represents a conceptual improvement on earlier classifications.
