Atherosclerosis(As) is a lipid-driven chronic inflammatory disease occurring at the arterial subendothelial space. Macrophages play a critical role in the initiation and development of As. Herein,targeted codelivery of anti-miR 155 and anti-inflammatory baicalein is exploited to polarize macrophages toward M2 phenotype, inhibit inflammation and treat As. The codelivery system consists of a carrier-free strategy(drug-delivering-drug, DDD), fabricated by loading anti-miR155 on baicalein nanocrystals,named as baicalein nanorods(BNRs), followed by sialic acid coating to target macrophages. The codelivery system, with a diameter of 150 nm, enables efficient intracellular delivery of anti-miR155 and polarizes M1 to M2, while markedly lowers the level of inflammatory factors in vitro and in vivo. In particular, intracellular fate assay reveals that the codelivery system allows for sustained drug release over time after internalization. Moreover, due to prolonged blood circulation and improved accumulation at the As plaque, the codelivery system significantly alleviates As in animal model by increasing the artery lumen diameter, reducing blood pressure, promoting M2 polarization, inhibiting secretion of inflammatory factors and decreasing blood lipids. Taken together, the codelivery could potentially be used to treat vascular inflammation.

The use of checkpoint-blockade antibodies is still restricted in several malignancies due to the modest efficacy,despite considerable success in anti-tumor *** poor response of cancer cells to immune destruction is an essential contributor to the failure of checkpoint *** hypothesized that combining checkpoint therapy with natural-product chemosensitizer could enhance immune ***,a targeted diterpenoid derivative was integrated with the checkpoint blockade(anti-CTLA-4)to improve immunotherapy using thermo sensitive liposomes as *** vivo,the liposomes enabled the co-delivery of the two drug payloads into the ***,the regulatory T cell proliferation was restrained,the cytotoxic T cell infiltration was enhanced,and the profound immunotherapeutic effect was *** addition,the immunotherapeutic effect of another clinically used checkpoint antibody,anti-PD-1,also benefited from the diterpenoid *** note,our mechanism study revealed that the targeted diterpenoid derivative increased the sensitivity of cancer cells to immune attack via THBs1 downregulation and the resultant destruction of THBs1-CD47 ***,co-delivering THBs1 inhibitor and checkpoint blockade is promising to boost cancer *** first time discovered that THBs1 suppression could strengthen checkpoint therapy.

The main objective of this paper is to propose a conceptual model about the influence of lean, agile, resilient, and green （LARG） practices on supply chain operational, economic and environmental performance. This model is based on the literature review about the four supply chain management paradigms and also performance measurement systems. This paper contributes to the literature by introducing a new model to improve the leanness, agility, resilience, and greenness of manufacturing supply chains. Among the suggested LARG practices, the ones influencing more the supply chain performance are the just in time and also the supplier relationships. Also the supply chain performance measures with more LARG practices influencing them are the inventory levels and the time, that is, the supply chain＇s operational performance is the most affected by the simultaneous paradigms deployment in the supply chain.

A 112-day experiment was conducted to economically evaluate the production of eggs from commercial layers submitted to diets supplemented with levels of plant extracts (dried turmeric powder) added or not to vitamin E. A total of 432 20-week-old white layers were used, distributed in an entirely randomized design, in a 4 × 3 factor scheme (turmeric extract levels and vitamin E levels), with 6 repetitions of 6 birds per cage. The treatments consisted of four levels of turmeric extract inclusion (0;0.1%;0.2% and 0.3%) and three levels of vitamin E inclusion (0;50 and 100 IU/kg). The results calculated at work were favorable to the activity, and the items that most influenced the expenses in the effective production cost were: poultry, feed and labor, respectively. The best economic response in egg production was obtained by layers that consumed 100 IU/kg vitamin E and 0.2% turmeric;because the leveling point represents that the activity equals the revenues with the costs. The best profitability index was found in treatment that contained 50 IU/kg vitamin E and 0.1% turmeric com (16.78%).

Groove Pancreatitis： A Case Report

We report a case of groove pancreatitis in which clinical and endoscopic findings improved with conservative treatment. Most authors suggest more aggressive management, such as Whipple＇s surgery because of its similar findings to pancreatic carcinoma. Groove pancreatitis is a rare condition that requires more studies to establish diagnostic criteria to better classify the disease＇s stage and direct appropriated therapy for the patient, improving morbidity and survival of this disease.
