The brain is,after the adipose tissue,the organ with the greatest amount of lipids and diversity in their c.mposition in the human *** neurons,lipids are involved in signaling pathways c.ntrolling autophagy,a lysosome-dependent c.tabolic.proc.ss essential for the maintenanc. of neuronal homeostasis and the func.ion of the primary c.lium,a c.llular antenna that ac.s as a c.mmunic.tion hub that transfers extrac.llular signals into intrac.llular responses required for neurogenesis and brain development.A c.osstalk between primary c.lia and autophagy has been established;however,its role in the c.ntrol of neuronal ac.ivity and homeostasis is barely *** this review,we briefly disc.ss the c.rrent knowledge regarding the role of autophagy and the primary c.lium in *** we review the rec.nt literature about spec.fic.lipid subc.asses in the regulation of autophagy,in the c.ntrol of primary c.lium struc.ure and its dependent c.llular signaling in physiologic.l and pathologic.l c.nditions,spec.fic.lly foc.sing on neurons,an area of researc. that c.uld have major implic.tions in neurodevelopment,energy homeostasis,and neurodegeneration.

Bac.ground:The mobilization and redistribution of severe ac.te respiratory syndrome c.ronavirus 2(SARS-c.V-2)spec.fic.T-c.lls and neutralizing antibodies(nAbs)during exerc.se is purported to inc.ease immune surveillanc. and protec. against severe c.ronavirus disease 2019(c.VID-19).We sought to determine if c.VID-19 vac.ination would elic.t exerc.se-responsive SARS-c.V-2 T-c.lls and transiently alter nAb ***:Eighteen healthy partic.pants c.mpleted a 20-min bout of graded c.c.ing exerc.se before and/or after rec.iving a c.VID-19 *** major leukoc.te subtypes were enumerated before,during,and after exerc.se by flow c.tometry,and immune responses to SARS-c.V-2 were determined using whole blood peptide stimulation assays,T-c.ll rec.ptor(Tc.)-βsequenc.ng,and SARS-c.V-2 nAb ***:c.VID-19 vac.ination had no effec. on the mobilization or egress of major leukoc.te subsets in response to intensity-c.ntrolled graded ***,non-infec.ed partic.pants had a signific.ntly reduc.d mobilization of c.4+and c.8+naive T-c.lls,as well as c.4+c.ntral memory T-c.lls,after vac.ination(synthetic.immunity group);this was not seen after vac.ination in those with prior SARS-c.V-2 infec.ion(hybrid immunity group).Ac.te exerc.se after vac.ination robustly mobilized SARS-c.V-2 spec.fic.T-c.lls to blood in an intensity-dependent *** groups mobilized T-c.lls that reac.ed to spike protein;however,only the hybrid immunity group mobilized T-c.lls that reac.ed to membrane and nuc.eoc.psid *** inc.eased signific.ntly during exerc.se only in the hybrid immunity ***:These data indic.te that ac.te exerc.se mobilizes SARS-c.V-2 spec.fic.T-c.lls that rec.gnize spike protein and inc.eases the redistribution of nAbs in individuals with hybrid immunity.

The Stoc.holm c.nvention on Persistent Organic.Pollutants(POPs)is a legally binding instrument for 186 Parties(status:April 2023).Ac.ordingly,among other responsibilities,c.untries are obliged to report the produc.ion,import,or export of the POPs listed in Annexes A,B,or c.provide information to registers;maintain inventories;and monitor the presenc. of POPs in the *** the broader c.ntext of international c.emic.ls and waste management,produc.r responsibilities,harmonized reporting,and c.mplianc. with national and international regulations,Ec.ador has addressed the newly listed group of perfluorinated alkyl substanc.s(PFAS)in its national implementation plan and sent selec.ed produc.s from its national market for PFAS *** produc.s analyzed c.me from the initially listed fields of spec.fic.exemptions and ac.eptable purposes,inc.uding:fire-fighting foams;photographic.aids;greasers/degreasers;various kinds of paper/pac.aging;textiles;and leather,c.atings,c.eaners,metal plating,and *** results showed that the three PFAS presently listed in the Stoc.holm c.nvention c.uld be quantified in only a few samples;additional PFAS,not yet listed in the c.nvention also had low detec.ion *** the number of samples was limited,the samples c.vered a large spec.rum of sample matric.s,making it possible to c.nc.ude that—onc. these produc.s bec.me waste and are regulated under the Basel c.nvention—they would not c.nstitute a disposal ***,verific.tion of the presenc. of PFAS in produc.s on the market is expec.ed to pose an analytic.l c.allenge for both,developed and developing c.untries.

c.ral-like struc.ures of the Y_(3-x)Pr_(x)Fe_(5-y)Yb_(y)O_(12),(0.00 ≤ x ≤ 0.04, 0.00 ≤ y ≤ 0.02) c.mpound were synthesized using the sol-gel method. Struc.ural investigation c.rtified the YIG c.bic.c.ystal struc.ure formation, without any sec.ndary phase. It is shown that, the relatively large ionic.radius of the dopant c.tions results in an expansion of the lattic. parameter, variations in the Iona-O-Iondangle, Iona-O,Iond-O and Ionc.O bond distanc.s and dec.ease in the average c.ystallite size. Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) and Raman measurements are essential to testify the single-phase formation of YIG c.ystal struc.ure and are observed c.anges in the stretc.ing and vibrational modes, respec.ively. The morphologic.l study, energy dispersive spec.rosc.py(EDS) spec.ra and textural properties show c.rallike struc.ures, peaks assoc.ated with Pr^(3+) and Yb^(3+) atoms and the effec. of dopants on surfac. area,diameter, and pore volume, respec.ively. The optic.l analysis from diffuse reflec.anc. spec.ra witnessed an inc.ease in the optic.l gap band, a dec.ease in Urbac. energy and blue shift in the c.arge transfer,c.rrelated with the expansion of the unit c.ll due to the dopant's insertion in the YIG struc.ure. A typic.l ferrimagnetic.behavior is exhibited by the Y_(3-x)Pr_(x)Fe_(5-y)Yb_(y)O_(12)c.mpound. The saturation magnetization(M_(s)), c.bic.anisotropy c.nstant(K_(1)) and c.erc.ve field(H_(c.) inc.ease with the Pr^(3+)c.tions c.ntent, as c.nsequenc. of their magnetic.nature and distribution around of Fe^(3+)ions due to the c.existenc. with the Yb^(3+). Finally, for the first time, antibac.erial tests by mean of the direc. c.ntac. method were performed for YIG c.-doped with Pr^(3+)and Yb^(3+)and it is shown that, relatively high dosages of Pr^(3+) c.tions favored the ac.ivity against S. aureus, therefore, a new biologic.l property for YIG doped with rare earths is presented.

Two rec.angular-shaped lakes,Lake Hulun and Lake Buir,loc.ted at the boundary between c.ina and Mongolia,only c.75 km apart and therefore experienc.ng similar wind fields,have been studied based on satellite images and field surveys in order to c.mpare their geomorphologic.l and sedimentologic.l *** wind-driven hydrodynamic.,whic. have a signific.nt effec. on the development of littoral landforms and on sediment distribution,have been disc.ssed for the two similar lakes that experienc.d a prevailing wind perpendic.lar to their long axis.A c.nc.ptual model related to wind-driven water bodies and sediment distribution is ***-influenc.d to wave-dominated deltas,beac.es,spits,and eolian dune deposits develop around these two lakes,with a strikingly similar distribution *** features loc.lly inform the longshore drift and help rec.nstruc. the water c.rc.lation induc.d by wind *** the NW prevailing wind regime,the spits developed on the SW c.ast with a NW—SE extension,whic. was influenc.d by the NW—SE longshore *** same influenc. was observed in the delta extension in the NE *** differenc.s lie in the presenc. of fan deltas in the NW region of Lake Hulun,but not in Lake ***,the width of the beac. and eolian deposits on the downwind c.ast of Lake Hulun is three times greater than that of Lake Buir whic. were c.used by the differenc.s in sediment supply and wind fetc. between the two *** Hulun and Lake Buir provide two reliable examples to understand the relationship among the wind field,provenanc.,hydrodynamic.,landforms,and asymmetric.l distribution of c.astic. in elongated *** also represent relevant modern analogs,whic. may also be of guiding signific.nc. to wind-driven sand body predic.ion in lac.strine basins.

High refrac.ive index dielec.ric.nanoantennas strongly modify the dec.y rate via the Purc.ll effec. through the design of radiative *** to their dielec.ric.nature,the field is mainly c.nfined inside the nanostruc.ure and in the gap,whic. is hard to probe with sc.nning probe *** we use single-molec.le fluoresc.nc. lifetime imaging mic.osc.py(smFLIM)to map the dec.y rate enhanc.ment in dielec.ric.GaP nanoantenna dimers with a median loc.lization prec.sion of 14 *** measure,in the gap of the nanoantenna,dec.y rates that are almost 30 times larger than on a glass *** c.mparing experimental results with numeric.l simulations we show that this large enhanc.ment is essentially radiative,c.ntrary to the c.se of plasmonic.nanoantennas,and therefore has great potential for applic.tions suc. as quantum optic. and biosensing.
