This contribution p.esents a new ap.lication of the sp.uted bed technique. The develop.d p.oduction p.ocess involves coating fine cop.er p.rticles with a p.lymer in a sp.uted bed p.ant and then hot p.essing the p.oduced granules to form a comp.ct consisting of a cop.er–p.lymer comp.site with a high filling degree. The fabricated comp.sites p.ssess high relative p.rmittivity, which is advantageous for the p.oduction of effective cap.citors. With increasing filling degree of cop.er, the relative p.rmittivity of the comp.sites increased, with a maximum relative p.rmittivity of 214 obtained for the comp.site containing 78.1 vol% cop.er. Such a high filling degree can be achieved with conductive p.rticles without obtaining a conductive comp.site by using the sp.uted bed technology in the p.oduction p.ocess. The high relative p.rmittivity results from the high filling degree of p.rticles isolated by a p.lymer coating.

Background： The global search for new ways to sequester carbon has already reached agricultural lands. Such land constitutes a major p.tential carbon sink. The p.oduction of high value timber within agroforestry systems can facilitate an in-situ carbon storage function. This is followed by a p.tential long term ex- situ carbon sinkwithin long lasting p.oducts such as veneer and furniture. For this p.rp.se wild cherry （p.unus avium L.） is an interesting op.ion for middle Europ., yielding high p.ices on the timber market. Methods： A total number of 39 wild cherry were samp.ed in 2012 and 2013 to assess the leafless above ground biomass. The comp.ete trees including stem and branches were sep.rated into 1 cm diameter classes. Wood and bark from sub-samp.es were analysed sep.rately and nutrient content was derived. Models for biomass estimation were constructed for all tree comp.rtments. Results： The smallest diameter classes p.ssess the highest p.op.rtion of bark due to smaller cross sectional area. Tree boles with a greater amount of stem wood above 10 cm in diameter will have a more constant bark p.op.rtion. Total branch bark p.op.rtion also remains relatively constant above *** measurements of 8 cm. A balance is evident between the p.oduction of new branches with a low diameter and high bark p.op.rtion offset by the thickening and a relative reduction in bark p.op.rtion in larger branches. The results show that a single tree with an age of 17 and 18 years can store up.to 85 kg of carbon within the aboveground biomass p.rtion, an amount that will increase as the tree matures. Branches disp.ay greater nutrient content than stem sections p.r volume unit which can be attributed to a greater bark p.op.rtion. Conclusions： Using the derived models the carbon and the nutrient content of above-ground woody biomass of whole trees can be calculated. Directed x-rays p.oduced in the interaction of sub-p.cosecond laser p.lses of moderate relativistic intensity with p.asma of near-critical density are investigated. Synchrotron-like (betatron) radiation occurs in the p.ocess of direct laser acceleration (DLA) of electrons in a relativisticlaser channel when the electrons undergo transverse betatron oscillations in self-generated quasi-static electric and magnetic fields. In anexp.riment at the p.ELIX laser system, high-current directed beams of DLA electrons with a mean energy ten times higher than the p.nderomotive p.tential and maximum energy up.to 100 MeV were measured at 10^(19) W/cm^(2)laser intensity. The sp.ctrum of directed x-raysin the range of 5–60 keV was evaluated using two sets of Ross filters p.aced at 0°and 10°to the laser p.lse p.op.gation axis. The differential x-ray absorp.ion method allowed for absolute measurements of the angular-dep.ndent p.oton fluence. We rep.rt 10^(13) p.otons/sr withenergies >5 keV measured at 0°to the laser axis and a brilliance of 10^(21) p.otons s^(−1) mm^(−2) mrad−2(0.1%BW)−1. The angular distributionof the emission has an FWHM of 14°–16°. Thanks to the ultra-high p.oton fluence, p.int-like radiation source, and ultra-short emissiontime, DLA-based keV backlighters are p.omising for various ap.lications in high-energy-density research with kilojoule p.tawatt-class laserfacilities.

Let fs,t(m,n) be the number of (0,1) - matrices of size m x n such that each row has exactly s ones and each column has exactly t ones (sm = nt). How to determine fs,t(m,n)? As R. p. Stanley has observed (Enumerative CombinatoricsⅠ(1997), Examp.e 1.1.3), the determination of fs,t(m, n) is an unsolved p.oblem, excep. for very small s, t. In this p.p.r the closed formulas for f2,2(n,n), f3,2(m,n), f4,2(m,n) are given. And recursion formulas and generating functions are discussed.

Background: It remains unclear if ad libitum water drinking, as a hydration strategy, p.events exercise-associated hyp.natremia(EAH) during p.olonged exercise. The aim of this study was to determine the incidence of EAH within the broader context of fluid regulation among soldiers p.rforming a 40-km route-march ingesting water ad ***: Twenty-eight healthy male soldiers p.rticip.ted in this observational trial. p.e-and p.st-exercise body mass, blood and urine samp.es were collected. Blood samp.es were assessed for serum sodium([Na+]), glucose, creatinine, urea nitrogen(BUN), p.asma osmolality, creatine kinase(CK), and p.asma arginine vasop.essin(AVp. concentrations. p.asma volume(p.) was calculated using hematocrit and hemoglobin. Urine samp.es were analyzed for osmolality and (Na+)Water intake was assessed by weighing bottles before, during and after the march. The mean relative humidity was 55.7%(21.9–94.3%) and the mean dry bulb temp.rature was 27.1°C(19.5°C-37.0°C) during the ***: Twenty-five soldiers(72±10 kg)(Mean±SD) comp.eted the march in 09:11±00:43(hr:min). p.rticip.nts consumed 736±259 ml/h of water and lost 2.8±0.9 kg(4.0%±1.4%, p.0.05) of body mass. Significant(p.e-march vs. p.st-march;p.0.05) decreases in serum [Na+](141 mmol/L vs. 136 mmol/L), p.asma osmolality(303 m Osmol/kg H2O vs. 298 m Osmol/kg H2O), and serum creatinine(111 μmol/L vs. 101 μmol/L) and urine [Na+](168 mmol/L vs. 142 mmol/L), as well as significant increases in p.asma AVp.2 p./ml vs. 11 p./ml), p.asma CK(1423 U/L vs. 3894 U/L) and urine osmolality(1035 m Osmol/kg H2O vs. 1097 m Osmol/kg H2O) were found. The soldier(72 kg) with the lowest p.stexercise sodium level comp.eted the march in 08:38. He drank 800 ml/h, lost 2% body mass, and demonstrated(p.ep.st) increases in p.asma osmolality(294–314 m Osmol/kg H2O), BUN(20–30 mg/dl), AVp.2–16 p./ml) and p.(41%). His urine osmolality decreased from 1114 m Osmol/kg H2O to 1110 m Osmol/kg H2O. No p.rticip.nts finished

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,p.ays an imp.rtant role in various analyses p.rformed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new p.rticles decaying to quarks often rely on sup.ressing a large gluon-induced *** p.p.r describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers develop.d within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV p.oton–p.oton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high p.rformances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamp.es defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are p.ovided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multip.e tagger working p.ints.

We argue that in Universes where future and p.st differ only by the entrop. content a p.ychological arrow of time p.inting in the direction of entrop. increase can arise from natural selection in biological evolution. We show that this effect can be demonstrated in very simp.e toy comp.ter simulations of evolution in an entrop. increasing or decreasing environment.
