A model of subthreshold characteristics for both undoped and doped double-gate （DG） MOSFETs has been proposed. The models were developed based on solution of 2-D Poisson＇s equation using variable separa- tion technique. Without any fitting parameters, our proposed models can exactly reflect the degraded subthreshold characteristics due to nanoscale channel length. Also, design parameters such as body thickness, gate oxide thick- ness and body doping concentrations can be directly reflected from our models. The models have been verified by comparing with device simulations＇ results and found very good agreement.

AIM: To analyze changes of the optic nerve head(ONH) and peripapillary region during intraocular pressure(IOP) elevation in patients using spectral domain optical coherence tomography(SD-OCT).METHODS: Both an optic disc 200×200 cube scan and a high-definition 5-line raster scan were obtained from open angle glaucoma patients presented with monocular elevation of IOP(≥30 mm Hg) using SD-OCT. Additional baseline characteristics included age, gender, diagnosis,best-corrected visual acuity, refractive error, findings of slit lamp biomicroscopy, findings of dilated stereoscopic examination of the ONH and fundus, IOP, pachymetry findings, and the results of visual ***: The 24 patients were selected and divided into two groups: group 1 patients had no history of IOP elevation or glaucoma(n =14), and group 2 patients did have history of IOP elevation or glaucoma(n =10). In each patient, the study eye with elevated IOP was classified into group H(high), and the fellow eye was classified into group L(low). The mean deviation(MD)differed significantly between groups H and L when all eyes were considered(P =0.047) and in group 2(P =0.042), not in group 1(P =0.893). Retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL) average thickness(P =0.050), rim area(P =0.015),vertical cup/disc ratio(P =0.011), cup volume(P =0.028),inferior quadrant RNFL thickness(P =0.017), and clockhour(1, 5, and 6) RNFL thicknesses(P =0.050, 0.012, and0.018, respectively), cup depth(P =0.008), central prelaminar layer thickness(P =0.023), mid-inferior prelaminar layer thickness(P =0.023), and nasal retinal slope(P =0.034)were significantly different between the eyes with groups H and ***:RNFLaveragethickness,rim area,vertical cup/disc ratio, cup volume, inferior quadrant RNFL thickness, and clock-hour(1, 5, and 6) RNFL thicknesses significantly changed during acute IOP elevation.

Background:Pancreatic cysts are ***,most studies are based on data collected from individual *** present study aimed to evaluate the changes of management patterns for pancreatic cystic lesions(PCLs)by analyzing large epidemiologic ***:Between January 2007 and December 2018,information regarding pancreatic cystic lesions was acquired from the nationwide Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service database in ***:The final number of patients with pancreatic cysts was 165277 among the total claims for reimbursement of 855983 associated with PCLs over 12 *** total number of claims were increased from 19453 in 2007 to 155842 in 2018 and the prevalence increased from 0.04%to 0.23%.For 12 years,2874(1.7%)had pancreatic cancer and 8212(5.0%)underwent surgery,and 36 had surgery for twice(total 8248 pancreatectomy).After ruling out claims from the first 3 years of washout period,the incidence increased from 9891 to 24651 and the crude incidence rate of PCLs expanded from 19.96 per 100000 to 47.77 per *** to specific neoplasm codes(D136 or D377),the use of pancreatic cyst code(K862)has been remarkably increased and the most common since *** annual number of pancreatectomies increased from 518 to 861 between 2007 and 2012,and decreased to 596 until *** percentage of pancreatic cancer in patients who received pancreatectomy increased from 5.6%in 2007 to 11.7%in ***:The incidence of PCLs is rapidly *** PCLs,indeterminate cyst is increasing outstandingly.A trend of decreasing in the number of resections and increasing cancer rates among resected cysts may be attributed to the updated international guidelines.

Recent efforts have focused on the fabrication and application of three- dimensional （3-D） nanoarchitecture electrodes, which can exhibit excellent electrochemical performance. Herein, a novel strategy towards the design and synthesis of size- and thickness-tunable two-dimensional （2-D） MnO2 nanosheets on highly conductive one-dimensional （l-D） backbone arrays has been developed via a facile, one-step enhanced chemical bath deposition （ECBD） method at a low temperature （-50 ℃）. Inclusion of an oxidizing agent, BrO3-, in the solution was crucial in controlling the heterogeneous nucleation and growth of the nanosheets, and in inducing the formation of the tailored and uniformly arranged nanosheet arrays. We fabricated supercapacitor devices based on 3-D MnO2 nanosheets with conductive Sb-doped SnO2 nanobelts as the backbone. They achieved a specific capacitance of 162 F·g-1 at an extremely high current density of 20 A·g% and good cycling stability that shows a capacitance retention of -92% of its initial value, along with a coulombic efficiency of almost 100% after 5,000 cycles in an aqueous solution of I M Na2SO4. The results were attributed to the unique hierarchical structures, which provided a short diffusion path of electrolyte ions by means of the 2-D sheets and direct electrical connections to the current collector by 1-D arrays as well as the prevention of aggregation by virtue of the well-aligned 3-D structure.

The UK Met Office Unified Model（UM） is employed by many weather forecasting agencies around the globe. This model is designed to run across spatial and time scales and known to produce skillful predictions for large-scale weather systems. However, the model has only recently begun running operationally at horizontal grid spacings of ～1.5 km [e.g.,at the UK Met Office and the Korea Meteorological Administration（KMA）]. As its microphysics scheme was originally designed and tuned for large-scale precipitation systems, we investigate the performance of UM microphysics to determine potential inherent biases or weaknesses. Two rainfall cases from the KMA forecasting system are considered in this study： a changma（quasi-stationary） front, and Typhoon Sanba（2012）. The UM output is compared to polarimetric radar observations in terms of simulated polarimetric radar variables. Results show that the UM generally underpredicts median reflectivity in stratiform rain, producing high reflectivity cores and precipitation gaps between them. This is partially due to the diagnostic rain intercept parameter formulation used in the one-moment microphysics scheme. Model drop size is generally both underand overpredicted compared to observations. UM frozen hydrometeors favor generic ice（crystals and snow） rather than graupel, which is reasonable for changma and typhoon cases. The model performed best with the typhoon case in terms of simulated precipitation coverage.
