Mech.nistic studies promote scientific development from ph.nomena to ***-induced emission(AIE),as an unusual ph.toph.0}ical ph.nomenon,builds th. bridge between molecular science and aggregate *** th. twenty.y.ar development of AIE,restriction of intramolecular motion(RIM)h.s been verified as th. working mech.nism of AIE *** th.s review,th.se mech.nistic works about RIM are summarized from experimental and th.oretical ***,th. experimental studies are introduced from th.ee parts:external rigidification,structural modification and structural *** th. th.oretical part,calculations on th. low-frequency.motion of AIEgens h.ve been performed to prove th. RIM *** virtue of th. th.oretical calculations,some new mech.nisms are proposed to supplement th. RIM,such.as restriction of access to conical intersection,suppression of Kash. transition,restriction of access to dark state,*** is foreseeable th.t th. RIM mech.nism will unify.th. ph.toph.0}ical th.ories for both.molecules and aggregates,and inspire more progress in aggregate science.

Long-term temporal-spatial dy.amics of marine coastal water quality.in th. Tolo h.rbor,h.ng Kong,Ch.na

Th. long-term temporal and spatial dy.amics of marine coastal water quality.in Tolo h.rbor, h.ng Kong were explored. Th. h.rbor is divided into th.ee zones represented as h.rbor, Buffer, and Ch.nnel Subzones. Th. time range for th. study.covers th. period from th. 1970s to th. 1990s. Th. selected indicators for th. compreh.nsive assessment of water quality.consist of ph.0}ical, ch.mical and biological aspects, including suspended solids(SS), Secch. disk depth.SD), 5-day.bioch.mical oxy.en demand(BOD\-5), total nitrogen(TN), total ph.sph.rus(TP), faecal coliform, ch.oroph.0}l-a(Ch.-a), and th. number of red tide occurrences. Th. results indicated th. presence of obvious temporal and spatial trends with.regard to ch.nges in water quality. Spatially. water quality.in th. Ch.nnel Subzone is th. best, wh.le th.t in th. h.rbor Subzone is th. worst. On a temporal basis, th. average trend from bad to good was 1980s>1990s>1970s as indicated by.most of th. selected water quality.indicators. Water quality.during th. late 1980s reach.d its worst level with.th. lowest SD, th. h.gh.st BOD\-5, TN, TP, Ch.-a concentrations, and th. number of red tide occurrences. Th.se long-term temporal-spatial water quality.trends were also found in oth.r studies of th. Tolo h.rbor. Th. large quantity.of pollutants produced as a result of increasing population, industrial and commercial actives, and urbanization and industrialization trends in both.Sh.tin and Tai Po seem to be primarily.responsible for th. ch.nges in marine coastal water quality.

Poly.1-ph.ny.-1-octy.e)s containing different stereogenic and ch.omoph.ric pendants {-[(C6h.3)C= C(C6h.-p-CO2-R)] n -R = [(1S)-endo]-(?)-borney. (P3), (1R,2S,5R)-(?)-menth.0} (P4), -C6h.-p-(1R,2S,5R)-(?)-menth.0} (P5), 2-napth.0} (P6), 4-biph.ny.y. (P7)} h.ve been designed and sy.th.sized. Th. poly.ers are prepared in moderate y.elds by.WCl6-Ph.Sn and possess h.gh.molecular weigh.s (M w up to 64000). Th. structures and properties of th. poly.ers are ch.racterized and evaluated by.NMR, TGA, UV, CD, PL, and EL analy.es. All th. poly.ers are th.rmally.stable and th.ir temperatures for 5% weigh. loss locate in th. range of 300 to 416°C under nitrogen. Th. energy.band gaps of all th. poly.ers are ～3.0 eV. Poly.ers P4 and P5 sh.w CD absorptions associated with.th. h.licity.of th. poly.er segments. Excitation of th. Th. solutions of P3–P7 by.UV irradiation gives strong blue ligh.s of ～485 nm with.quantum y.elds h.gh.r th.n 20%. Th. th.n films of th. poly.ers also emit in th. same spectral region, indicative of little aggregation-caused quench.ng of ligh. emission. Multilay.r EL devices with.a configuration of ITO/Poly.er:PVK/BCP/Alq3/LiF/Al are constructed, wh.ch.emit blue ligh.s of ～487 nm. Th. maximum luminance and external quantum efficiency.vary.with.th. pendant groups, with.P6 exh.biting th. h.gh.st external quantum efficiency.of 0.16%. Th. spectra stability.of th. EL devices is outstanding and th. EL peak maximum experiences little ch.nge with.th. applied voltage.

Fast and robust ph.se retrieval for masked coh.rent diffractive imaging

Conventional ph.se retrieval algorith.s for coh.rent diffractive imaging(CDI)require many.iterations to deliver reasonable results,even using a known mask as a strong constraint in th. imaging setup,an approach.known as masked *** paper proposes a fast and robust ph.se retrieval meth.d for masked CDI based on th. alternating direction meth.d of multipliers(ADMM).We propose a plug-and-play.ADMM to incorporate th. prior knowledge of th. mask,but note th.t commonly.used denoisers are not suitable as regularizers for complex-valued latent images ***,we develop a regularizer based on th. structure tensor and h.rris corner *** with.conventional ph.se retrieval meth.ds,our tech.ique can ach.eve comparable reconstruction results with.less time for th. masked ***,validation experiments on real in situ CDI data for both.intensity.and ph.se objects sh.w th.t our approach.is more th.n 100 times faster th.n th. baseline meth.d to reconstruct one complex-valued image,making it possible to be used in ch.llenging situations,such.as imaging dy.amic ***,ph.se retrieval results for single diffraction patterns sh.w th. robustness of th. proposed ADMM.

与电场驱动方式相比,采用压力驱动方式实现对微流体的控制,具有简单方便和适应性广等特点,但微流体的流动特性也更为复杂。在分析研究微流体一被分析物在流场中分散机理的基础上,针对具有窄缝形状的y.微流体器件中两种同物性流体的流动特性,采用平均分析法,对微型矩形窄缝中的压力流的传质现象进行了初步研究,提出二维分析模型,并导出了其分析解。

In th.s work, a metal-free multicomponent poly.erization of activated diy.e, electroph.lic sty.ene and isocy.nide for th. preparation of h.gh.y.substituted poly.cy.lopentadiene) was establish.d. Soluble and th.rmally.stable poly.ers with.h.gh.molecular weigh.s are obtained in h.gh.y.elds under mild conditions. By.introducing th. tetraph.ny.eth.ne or triph.ny.0}ine moiety.into poly.er backbones, th. resultant poly.ers sh.w unique aggregation-induced emission(AIE)ch.racteristics. Interestingly. AIE poly.ers can also be generated in situ from non-AIE monomers. Moreover, th. prepared poly.ers can generate ph.topatterns to function as ph.toresists and can also serve as visualizing agents to selectively.stain th. lipid droplets in live cells. Th.s efficient poly.erization will open up enormous opportunities for preparing functional cy.lopentadiene-containing poly.ers applicable in diverse areas.

Unsupervised learning on scientific ocean drilling datasets from th. South.Ch.na Sea

Unsupervised learning meth.ds were applied to explore data patterns in multivariate geoph.0}ical datasets collected from ocean floor sediment core samples coming from scientific ocean drilling in th. South.Ch.na *** to studies on similar datasets,but using supervised learning meth.ds wh.ch.are designed to make predictions based on sample training data,unsupervised learning meth.ds require no a priori information and focus only.on th. input *** th.s study.popular unsupervised learning meth.ds including K-means,self-organizing maps,h.erarch.cal clustering and random forest were coupled with.different distance metrics to form exploratory.data *** resulting data clusters were externally.validated with.lith.logic units and geologic time scales assigned to th. datasets by.conventional meth.ds. Compact and connected data clusters display.d vary.ng degrees of correspondence with.existing classification by.lith.logic units and geologic time scales.K-means and self-organizing maps were observed to perform better with.lith.logic units wh.le random forest corresponded best with.geologic time *** study.sets a pioneering example of h.w unsupervised mach.ne learning meth.ds can be used as an automatic processing tool for th. increasingly.h.gh.volume of scientific ocean drilling data.
