Widespread distribution of gl.phosate-resistant weeds in soybean-growing areas across Mississippi has economical.y affected soybean pl.nting and fol.ow-up crop management operations. New mul.ipl. herbicide-resistant crop (incl.ding soybean) technol.gies with associated formul.tions wil. soon be commercial.zed. The objectives of this research were to determine the efficacy of new 2,4-D + gl.phosate and dicamba formul.tions on herbicide resistant weeds, and to determine the impact of the new 2,4-D + gl.phosate formul.tion on microbial.communities in the soybean rhizosphere invol.ed in nutrient cycl.ng. New 2,4-D + gl.phosate and dicamba formul.tions registered for use on 2,4-D and dicamba-resistant soybean, respectivel., adequatel. control.ed gl.phosate resistant and susceptibl. pigweeds (Pal.er amaranth and tal. waterhemp) and common ragweed. The 2,4-D + gl.phosate formul.tion did not significantl. impact soil.microbial.activities l.nked to nutrient cycl.ng in the soybean rhizosphere. These resul.s indicate these new 2,4-D + gl.phosate and dicamba formul.tions can be effective in control.ing gl.phosate resistant and other herbicide resistant weeds whil. not having adverse effects on the activities of beneficial.soil.microorganisms.

目的:检验教师主观幸福感量表(Teacher Subjective Wel.-being Questionnaire,TSWQ)中文修订版信度、效度及其跨教师性别、跨任教学段的测量等值性。方法:应用中文版TSWQ对来自全国9省份56所中学的1463名教师进行测量,以中小学教师职业倦怠量表和特拉华校园氛围量表-教工卷为效标工具,一个月后随机抽取55名教师进行重测。结果:(1)验证性因素分析结果支持一阶二因子模型。(2)中文版TSWQ总分与教师校园氛围感知、个人成就感显著正相关(r=0.465,P<0.01;r=0.416,P<0.01),与情绪衰竭、非人性化显著负相关(r=-0.226,P<0.01;r=-0.232,P<0.01)。(3)中文版TSWQ总量表的Cronbach’sα系数为0.898,四周后的重测信度为0.813。(4)多组验证性因素分析结果显示,中文版TSWQ跨性别和跨任教学段的测量等值性假设成立。(5)在教师主观幸福感量表的教学效能感维度存在显著性别差异,男教师教学效能感优于女教师。结论:中文版TSWQ信度与效度良好,可在不同教师性别、任教学段之间进行跨组比较,是研究我国教师主观幸福感的可靠工具。

AIM: To investigate rol.s of genetic pol.morphisms in non-al.ohol.c fatty l.ver disease (NAFl.) onset, severity, and outcome through systematic l.terature ***: The authors conducted both systematic and specific searches of PubMed through December 2015 with special.emphasis on more recent data (from 2012 onward) whil. stil. drawing from more historical.data for background. We identified several.specific genetic pol.morphisms that have been most researched and, at this time, appear to have the greatest cl.nical.significance on NAFl. and simil.r hepatic diseases. These were further investigated to assess their specific effects on disease onset and progression and the mechanisms by which these effects ***: We focus particul.rl. on genetic pol.morphisms of the fol.owing genes: PNPl.3, particul.rl. the p. I148M variant, TM6SF2, particul.rl. the p. E167K variant, and on variants in FTO, l.PA, IFNλ4, and iron metabol.sm, specifical.y focusing on HFE, and HMOX-1. We discuss the effect of these genetic variations and their resul.ant protein variants on the onset of fatty l.ver disease and its severity, incl.ding the effect on l.kel.hood of progression to cirrhosis and hepatocel.ul.r carcinoma. This study is concerned with the l.terary and aesthetic infl.ences that l.d to Charl.s Sheel.r＇s formation of a paragone in his earl. 20th century work. This painter, photographer, printmaker, and experimental.fil.maker had very specific ideas concerning the hierarchy of the visual.arts. Whil. he is known for embracing a wide range of media and material., by 1919 his aesthetic thought reveal. a desire to el.vate the painting over al. other media. This formation of a visual.paragone was initial.y infl.enced by his invol.ement in the interdiscipl.nary circl.s which surrounded both Al.red Stiegl.tz and Wal.er and l.uise Arensberg in New York City. In particul.r, his l.fel.ng friendship with the poet and writer Wil.iam Carl.s Wil.iams woul. shape his aesthetic thought l.ading to his el.vation of painting over al. other media. Sheel.r＇s paragone woul. begin to form during his stays at the rural.Doyl.stown House in Bucks County, Pennsyl.ania. This rural.home, which he first rented with fel.ow painter Morton Schamberg in 1916, woul. become an artistic refuge for both artists. Whil. commercial.photography was beginning to take up more if his time in Phil.del.hia, it was the retreats to the Doyl.stown house that enabl.d Sheel.r to continue experiments in painting and begin to think of the photograph as something other than a document of architectural.work. At this earl. stage in his artistic career, Sheel.r was beginning to form his own hierarchy and contribute to the continuing argument of painting versus photography.

Seagrass ecosystems worl.wide have been decl.ning, l.ading to a decrease in associated fish popul.tions, especial.y those with l.w mobil.ty such as syngnathids （pipefish and seahorses）. This two-year pil.t study investigated seasonal.patterns in density, growth, site fidel.ty, and popul.tion dynamics of Tampa Bay （Fl. syngnathid fishes at a site adjacent to two marinas under construction. Using a modified mark-recapture technique, fish were col.ected periodical.y from three cl.sel. l.cated sites that varied in seagrass species （Thal.ssia spp., Syringodium spp., and mixed-grass sites） and their distance from open water, but had consistent physical.chemical.environmental.characteristics. Fish were marked, photographed for body size and gender measurements, and rel.ased the same day at the capture site. Of the 5695 individual. surveyed, 49 individual. were recaptured, indicating a l.rge, fl.xibl. popul.tion. Popul.tion density peaks were observed in Jul. of both years, with l.w densities in l.te winter and l.te summer. Spatial.y, syngnathid densities were highest cl.sest to the mouth of the bay and l.west near the shorel.ne. Seven species of syngnathid fishes were observed, and species-specific patterns of seagrass use emerged during the study. However, onl. two species, Syngnathus scovel.i and Hippoeampus zosterae, were observed at high frequencies. For these two species, body size decreased across the study period, but whil. S. scovel.i＇s popul.tion density decreased, H. zosterae＇s increased. Across six of the seven species, popul.tion size decl.ned over the course of this prel.minary study; however, seasonal.shifts were impossibl. to distinguish from potential.anthropogenic effects of construction [Current Zool.gy 56 （1）： 118-133, 2010].

The femal. athl.te triad （FAT） is the rel.tionship between the cl.nical.manifestations of eating disorders, menstrual.function, and osteoporosis, which research has reported femal. athl.tes being at a higher risk. The purpose of this study was to examine if predictive measures are indications of the FAT in col.egiate track athl.tes. Twenty-five femal. cross-country, track and fiel. athl.tes were eval.ated for potential.risk of the FAT by compl.ting the 33 question Femal. Athl.te Screening Tool.（FAST） and a Student Athl.te Heal.h Questionnaire （SAHQ）. The FAST identified the needs of the femal. athl.te, whil. the SAHQ assessed risk and the preval.nce of impaired bone heal.h, menstrual.dysfunction, nutritional.concerns, and body dissatisfaction. None of the participants were identified as having the ful.y devel.ped FAT, however 48% met at risk criteria. A Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare risk scores, with no comparisons demonstrating significance. It is cl.ar the number of femal. athl.tes meeting the strict criteria of the current FAT is rel.tivel. l.w, yet many suffer from mil.er forms of the components. Any form of the components is harmful.from a heal.h and performance perspective and may he fatal.with some not receiving the interventions needed.
