We have previously reported that the new compound gLY-15 containing pyrimidine heterocycle and moroxydine skeleton structure has good anti-TMV activity(Yu et al.,*** Management Science).The combination of chemical molecular probes and mass spectrometry is used to identify the potential target proteins of the ***,we constructed a biotin modified active probe by covalent bonding biotin with gLY-15 using an active small molecule probe,and thereafter confirmed its e anti-TMV activity in Nicotiana *** proteins extracted from TMV infected *** plants were incubated with biotin probes p-gLY-15,and then,using the interaction between biotin and avidin,we enriched and purified the gLY-15 binding protein using an avidin coated solid phase ***,after separation by SDS-pAgE gel,we selected specific bands for LC-MS/MS mass spectrometry *** results showed that major host proteins pulled down by the XX probes include glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase(gApDH),Fructose-bisphosphate dehydrogenase(FBA),Malate dehydrogenase(MDH),Mannose-binding lectin(MBL1),Annexin,Form dehydrogenase,mitochondrial(FDH),Cysteine synthase(CS),gDSL esterase/lipase At5 g03980-like(gELp),and germin-like protein(gLp).Nevertheless,more precise verification of this molecular interaction between gLY-15 and viral proteins should be performed in a subsequent study using methods such as molecular dynamics simulation or Tobacco rattle virus(TRV)-based virus-induced gene silencing(VIgS).

gymnolaemata bryozoans produce CaCO3 skeletons of either calcite,aragonite,or *** extensive research,their crystallography and biomineralization patterns remain *** present a detailed study of the microstructures,min-eralogy,and crystallography of eight extant cheilostome species using scanning electron microscopy,electron backscatter diffraction,atomic force microscopy,and micro-computed *** distinguished five basic microstructures,three calcitic(tabular,irregularly platy,and granular),and two aragonitic(granular-platy and fibrous).The calcitic microstruc-tures consist of crystal aggregates that transition from tabular or irregularly platy to granular *** aragonite consists of fibers arranged into *** all cases,the crystallographic textures are axial,and stronger in aragonite than in calcite,with the c-axis as the fiber *** reconstruct the biomineralization sequence in the different species by considering the distribution and morphology of the growth fronts of crystals and the location of the secretory *** bimineralic species,calcite formation always predates aragonite *** interior compound walls,growth proceeds from the cuticle toward the zooecium *** conclude that,with the exception of tabular calcite,biomineralization is remote and occurs within a relatively wide extrapallial space,which is consistent with the inorganic-like appearance of the *** biomineralization mode is rare among invertebrates.

Over recent decades, gampaha district, Sri Lanka, has experienced significant urbanisation and industrial growth, increasing groundwater demand due to limited and polluted surface water resources. In 2013, a community uprising in Rathupaswala, a village in gampaha district, accused a latex glove manufacturing factory of causing groundwater acidity (pH he spatial and temporal changes in geochemical parameters across three transects in the southern part of gampaha district to 1) assess the impact of geological formations on groundwater;2) compare temporal variations in groundwater;and 3) explain acidification via a geochemical model. Seventy-two sample locations were tested for pH, electrical conductivity (EC), and anion concentrations (sulphate, nitrate, chloride and fluoride). Depth to the water table and distance from the sea were measured to study variations across sandy, peaty, lateritic, and crystalline aquifers. Results showed pH readings around 7 for sandy and crystalline aquifers, below 7 for peaty aquifers, and below 5 for lateritic aquifers, with significant water table fluctuations near Rathupaswala area. principal component analysis revealed three principal components (pCs) explaining 86.0% of the variance. pC1 (40.6%) correlated with pH, EC, and sulphate (saltwater intrusion), while pC2 (32.0%) correlated with nitrates and depth to the water table (anthropogenic nutrient pollution). A geochemical transport model indicated a cone of depression recharged by acidic groundwater from peat-soil aquifers, leading to acidic groundwater in Rathupaswala area. previous attributions of acidic pH to the over-exploitation of groundwater by the latex factory have been reevaluated;the results suggest natural acidification from prolonged water-rock interactions with iron-rich lateritic aquifers. groundwater pH is influenced by local climate, geology, topography, and drainage systems. We report results from computational modeling of the relative stability of germanosilicate SCM-15 structure due to different distribution of germanium heteroatoms in the double four-member rings(D4Rs)of the framework and the orientation of the structure directing agent(SDA)molecules in the as-synthesized *** calculated relative energies of the bare zeolite framework suggest that structures with germanium ions clustered in the same D4Rs,e.g.,with large number of ge–O-ge contacts,are the most *** simulations of various orientations of the SDA in the pores of the germanosilicate zeolite show different stability order-the most stable models are the structures with germanium spread among all ***,for SCM-15 the stabilization due to the presence of the SDA and their orientation,is thermodynamic factor directing both the formation of specific framework type and ge distribution in the framework during the *** relative stability of bare structures with different germanium distribution is of minor *** differs from SCM-14 germanosilicate,reported earlier,for which the stability order is preserved in presence of ***,even for zeolites with the same chemical composition and SDA,the characteristics of their framework lead to different energetic preference for germanium distribution.

The role of tropical forests in the global carbon budget remains controversial,as carbon emissions from deforestation are highly *** high uncertainty arises from the use of either fixed forest carbon stock density or maps generated from satellite-based optical reflectance with limited sensitivity to biomass to generate accurate estimates of emissions from *** space missions aiming to accurately map the carbon stock density rely on direct measurements of the spatial structures of forests using lidar and *** found that lost forests are special cases,and their spatial structures can be directly measured by combining archived data acquired before and after deforestation by space missions principally aimed at measuring ***,using biomass mapping,we obtained new estimates of carbon loss from deforestation ahead of forthcoming space ***,using a high-resolution map of forest loss and the synergy of radar and lidar to estimate the aboveground biomass density of forests,we found that deforestation in the 2000s in Latin America,one of the severely deforested regions,mainly occurred in forests with a significantly lower carbon stock density than typical mature forests.
