S-palmitoylation is one of the most common post-translational modifications in nature;however,its importance has been overlooked for ***’s disease(CD),a subtype of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD),is an autoimmune disease characterized by chronic inflammation involving the entire gastrointestinal *** damage and subsequent disabilities caused by CD are a growing global health ***-acknowledged risk factors for CD include genetic susceptibility,environmental factors,such as a westernized lifestyle,and altered gut ***,the pathophysiological mechanisms of this disorder are not yet comprehensively *** the rapidly increasing global prevalence of CD and the evident role of S-palmitoylation in CD,as recently reported,there is a need to investigate the relationship between CD and *** this review,we summarize the concept,detection,and function of S-palmitoylation as well as its potential effects on CD,and provide novel insights into the pathogenesis and treatment of CD.

The realization of a high numerical aperture(NA) fiber lens is critical for achieving high imaging resolution in endoscopes, enabling subwavelength operation in optical tweezers and high efficiency coupling between optical fibers and photonic chips. However, it remains challenging with conventional design and fabrication. here we propose an ultrathin(400 nm) graphene oxide(GO) film lens fabricated in situ on a standard single-mode fiber facet using the femtosecond laser direct writing technique. An extremely high NA of 0.89 is achieved with a near diffraction-limited focal spot(FWHM = 0.68λ), which is verified theoretically and experimentally. The diameter of the fabricated fiber GO lens is as small as 12 μm with no beam expansion structure. The proposed fiber GO lens is promising for applications such as super-resolution imaging, compact optical tweezers, medical endoscopes,and on-chip integration.

Unmanned autonomous Air-to-Air Refueling(AAR)capability is the key guarantee to support the distant-field,high-intensity and durable operations of the penetration counterair combat *** the future,the long-range unmanned reconnaissance and attack platform can reach the maximum flight range requirement through *** present,large transport aircraft platforms in China are still equipped with probe-and-drogue systems,and the refueling mode is gradually changing from manned to unmanned autonomous *** docking process is the riskiest and most important part,and there are strict safety,precision,and efficiency requirements for refueling operation,especially during close-distance docking and formation maintenance *** this paper,five issues that need to be solved to achieve autonomous AAR docking are *** this basis,five key technology development needs are proposed to solve these engineering ***,some prospects are given.

hermetia illucens(HI) meal is a promising substitute for fish meal(FM) in the feeds of farmed ***, the impacts of dietary HI meal on largemouth bass(LMB) remain unknown. In this study, we formulated three isonitrogenous and isolipid diets with 0%(HI0, control), 20%(HI20) and 40%(HI40) of FM substituted by HI meal. A total of 270 juvenile largemouth bass with an initial body weight of10.02 ± 0.03 g were used(30 fish per tank). After an 80-day feeding trial, the fish fed with the HI40 diet demonstrated decreased growth performance and protein efficiency ratio(PER), and increased liver oxidative indices and lipid accumulation compared to the control(P he effects of high dietary HI meal on liver gene expression. Consistent with the reduced growth and disturbed liver oxidative status, the upregulated genes were enriched in the biological processes associated with protein catabolism and endoplasmic reticulum(ER) stress; while the downregulated genes were enriched in cellular proliferation, growth, metabolism, immunity and maintenance of tissue homeostasis. Differential metabolites in the liver samples were also identified by untargeted metabolomic assay. The results of joint transcriptomic-metabolomic analyses revealed that the pathways such as one carbon pool by folate, propanoate metabolism and alpha-linolenic acid metabolism were disturbed by high dietary HI meal. In summary, our data revealed the candidate genes, metabolites and biological pathways that account for the adverse effects of high HI meal diet on the growth and health of LMB.

Two-level totem-pole power factor correction(PFC)converters in critical conduction mode(CRM)suffer from the wide regulation range of switching ***,in highfrequency applications,the number of switching times increases,resulting in significant switching *** solve these issues,this paper proposes an improved modulation strategy for the single-phase three-level neutral-point-clamped(NPC)converter in CRM with *** optimizing the discharging strategy and switching state sequence,the switching frequency and its variation range have been efficiently *** detailed performance analysis is also presented regarding the switching frequency,the average switching times,and the effect of voltage gain.A 2 k W prototype is built to verify the effectiveness of the proposed modulation strategy and analysis *** with the totem-pole PFC converter,the switching frequency regulation range of the three-level PFC converter is reduced by 36.48%and the average switching times is reduced by 45.10%.The experimental result also shows a 1.2%higher efficiency for the three-level PFC converter in the full load range.

The emergence of various new services has posed a huge challenge to the existing network *** improve the network delay and backhaul pressure,caching popular contents at the edge of network has been considered as a feasible ***,how to efficiently utilize the limited caching resources to cache diverse contents has been confirmed as a tough problem in the past *** this paper,considering the time-varying user requests and the heterogeneous content sizes,a user preference aware hierarchical cooperative caching strategy in edge-user caching architecture is *** divide the caching strategy into three phases,that is,the content placement,the content delivery and the content *** the content placement phase,a cooperative content placement algorithm for local content popularity is designed to cache contents *** the content delivery phase,a cooperative delivery algorithm is proposed to deliver the cached *** the content update phase,a content update algorithm is proposed according to the popularity of the ***,the proposed caching strategy is validated using the MovieLens dataset,and the results reveal that the proposed strategy improves the delay performance by at least 35.3%compared with the other three benchmark strategies.

Anthropogenic disturbances associated with the rapid development of coastal cities have drastically influenced the hydrodynamics and sediment transport processes in many large estuaries *** Estuary(LE),located in the central and southern part of the Pearl River Delta,southern China with a long history of high-intensity anthropogenic disturbances,was studied to explore the contribution rate and mechanism underlying the alteration in hydrodynamics and sediment transport under each phase of human activity.A state-of-the-art modeling tool(TELEMAC-2D),was used to study the variations in the hydrodynamics and sediment transport,accounting for reclamation-induced shoreline and dredging-induced topography *** results indicated that:i)under the influence of successive land reclamation,the general distribution of the Confluence Hydrodynamic Zone(CHZ)in LE varied from scattered to concentrated,and these zones moved 3–5 km ***)Large-scale channel dredging weakened the residual flow in LE,decreasing the residual flow in the Inner-lingding Estuary(ILE)by 62.45%.This was initiated by the enhancement of tidal dynamics through changes in the bottom friction caused by dredging in the *** contrast,massive reclamation decreased the residual flow in the ILE by 17.55%and increased that in the Outer-lingding Estuary(OLE).iii)Despite disturbances related to land reclamation and dredging,the estuarine jet flow in LE remained a turbulent jet system,and the estuarine jet flow became more *** addition,the position of the estuarine jet source moved 6–13 km ***)Both reclamation and dredging decreased the SSC in the ILE and increased the SSC in the *** weakened the SSC in the ILE by 62.19%,whereas dredging enhanced the SSC in the OLE by 49%.Spatially,reclamation resulted in an increase in the SSC near the outlets and a decrease in the SSC in the northern portion of the Western *** mainly increased the SSC in the north
