Improving chitosan-based composite membrane by introducing a novel hybrid functional nano-hydroxyapatite with carboxymethyl cellulose and phytic acid

A functional hybrid nano-hydroxyapatite(carboxymethyl cellulose-phytic acid-n-HA,CMC-PA-n-HA)was prepared by adding CMC and *** results of Fourier transformation infrared spectra,X-ray diffraction,thermal gravimetric analysis and dispersion experiments indicated that the addition of CMC and PA affected the morphology,crystallinity and crystal size of hybrid n-HA,and CMC endowed hybrid n-HA with excellent *** electron microscope results showed that CMC-PA-n-HA nanoparticle could be uniformly dispersed in chitosan(CS)matrix to obtain composite membrane by casting technology,so that the highest tensile strength of CMC-PA-n-HA/CS composite membrane was 69.64%and 144.45%higher than that of CS membrane and n-HA/CS composite membrane,*** angle test showed that CMC-PA-n-HA effectively improved hydrophilicity of the CS *** simulated body fluid immersion results indicated that the CMC-PA-n-HA/CS composite membrane not only exhibited good degradability but also promoted bone-like apatite *** cell proliferation experiments proved that the introduction of PA made the composite membrane have better cell adhesion and proliferation *** tests demonstrated that PA could effectively improve the antibacterial properties of the composite membrane,which is expected to be applied as guide bone tissue regeneration membrane.

Effect of cobalt substitution for nickel on microstructural evolution and hydrogen storage properties of La_(0.66)Mg_(0.34)Ni_(3.5-x)Co_(x) alloys

Superlattice hydrogen storage alloys offer a compelling advantage with rapid hydriding rate and high storage ***,its practical applications face challenges including complex structure,low dehydriding capacity,and cyclic *** this work,we successfully prepared La_(0.66)Mg_(0.34)Ni_(3.5-x)Co_(x) superlattice hydrogen storage alloys with enhanced dehydriding capacity and stability by partially substituting Co for Ni.X-ray diffraction(XRD)refinements analysis reveals the presence of(La,Mg)_(3)Ni_(9),(La,Mg)_5Ni_(19),and LaNi_(5) phases within the *** Co substitution in the La_(0.06)Mg_(0.34)Ni_(3.4)Co_(0.1)alloy,there is a significant increase in content of the(La,Mg)_(3)Ni_(9) phase and a reduction in the hysteresis factor,resulting in an improved reversible hydrogen storage capacity from 1.45 wt%to 1.60 wt%.The dehydriding kinetics of the alloy is controlled by diffusion model with an activation energy of 8.40 kJ/***,the dehydriding enthalpy value of the Co-substituted alloy decreases from 30.84 to 29.85 kJ/***,the cycling performance of the alloy after Co substitution exhibits excellent stability,with a capacity retention rate of 92.3%after 100 *** findings provide valuable insights for the development of cost-effective hydrogen storage materials.

Highly effective design of high GFA alloys with different metalbased and various components by machine learning

Effect of defatted flaxseed gum powder addition on the quality of sesame paste

The study explored the influence of defatted flaxseed gum powder(DFGP) on the stability and quality of sesame paste by measuring and analyzing its composition, color, texture, particle size, centrifugal oil separation rate,rheological properties, and microstructure. The results showed that the moisture and polysaccharide content of sesame paste was increased as the DFGP increased. Additionally, the hardness, gumminess, and chewiness of the sesame paste was improved, while the presence of particles with small particle size(1–100 μm) was *** rate of oil precipitation was reduced by 28.99% when the amount of DFGP was 6%. The sesame paste samples exhibited pseudoplastic behavior, demonstrating shear thinning. As the shear rate increased, the apparent viscosity of sesame paste gradually decreased. Both the storage modulus(G’) and the loss modulus(G’’) increased as the shear frequency increased. The microstructure observation revealed that protein and oil were evenly distributed in the sesame paste system, and the addition of DFGP enhanced the bonding between oil and *** study can provide valuable references for high-quality sesame paste products in the food industry.

An efficient physics-guided Bayesian framework for predicting ground settlement profile during excavations in clay

Experimental study on reactions between alkaline basaltic melt and orthopyroxenes: constraints on the evolution of lithospheric mantle in the North China Craton

The experimental results of the reactions between an alkaline basaltic melt and mantle orthopyroxenes under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions of 1300–1400℃ and 2.0–3.0 GPa using a six-anvil apparatus are reported in this *** reactions are proposed to simulate the interactions between melts from the asthenospheric mantle and the lithospheric *** starting melt in the experiments was made from the alkaline basalt occurring in Fuxin,Liaoning Province,and the orthopyroxenes were separated from the mantle xenoliths in Damaping,hebei *** results show that clinopyroxenes were formed in all the reactions between the alkaline basaltic melt and orthopyroxenes under the studied P–T *** formation of clinopyroxene in the reaction zone is mainly controlled by dissolution–crystallization,and the chemical compositions of the reacted melt are primarily infl uenced by the diff usion eff *** is the most important parameter controlling the reactions between the melt and orthopyroxenes,which has a direct impact on the melting of orthopyroxenes and the diff usion of chemical components in the *** also directly controls the chemical compositions of the newly formed clinopyroxenes in the reaction zone and the reacted *** formation of clinopyroxenes from the reactions between the alkaline basaltic melt and orthopyroxenes can result in an increase of CaO and Al_(2)O_(3) contents in the rocks containing this ***,the reactions between the alkaline basaltic melt from the asthenospheric mantle and orthopyroxenes from the lithospheric mantle can lead to the evolution of lithospheric mantle in the North China Craton from refractory to fertile with relatively high CaO and Al 2 O 3 *** addition,the reacted melts in some runs were transformed from the starting alkaline basaltic into tholeiitic after reactions,indicating that tholeiitic magma could be generated from alkaline basaltic one via reactions betwe

Flotation separation of feldspar from quartz using sodium fluosilicate as a selective depressant

The physical and chemical properties of feldspar and quartz are highly similar,thus they cannot be easily separated *** this work,the flotation separation of feldspar from quartz using sodium fluosilicate(Na_(2)SiF_(6);SF)as a selective depressant was ***,the influence mechanism of SF on the selective flotation separation of feldspar and quartz was investigated via flotation tests,chemical analysis of flotation solution,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and contact angle *** results of the flotation tests show that feld spar and quartz without SF treatment have good *** SF treatment,feldspar still has good floatability,whereas quartz has significantly reduced *** solution chemical analysis shows that the functional group plays an important role in depressing the quartz is[SiF_(6)]^(2-).FTIR,XPS and contact angle analysis results show that[SiF_(6)]^(2-)is adsorbed only on the surface of ***,a thin hydrophilic SiOF layer is generated on the surface,which interferes with the adsorption of the collector on the surface of the *** phenomenon leads to a significant reduction in quartz's ***,SF has a good ability to separate feldspar from quartz by flotation.

Cnoidal waves and their soliton limits in single mode fiber lasers

Cnoidal waves are a type of nonlinear periodic wave solutions of the nonlinear dynamic *** are well known in fluid dynamics,but it is not the case in *** this paper we show both experimentally and numerically that cnoidal waves could be formed in a fiber laser either in the net normal or net anomalous cavity dispersion regime,especially because,as the pump power is increased,the formed cnoidal waves could eventually evolve into a train of bright(in the net anomalous cavity dispersion regime)or dark(in the net normal cavity dispersion regime)*** simulations of the laser operation based on the extended nonlinear Schrödinger equation(NLSE)have well reproduced the experimental *** result not only explains why solitons can still be formed in a fiber laser even without mode locking but also suggests a new effective way of automatic stable periodic pulse train generation in lasers with a nonlinear cavity.

Capillary Property of Entangled Porous Metallic Wire materials and Its Application in Fluid Buffers:Theoretical Analysis and Experimental Study

Strong impact does serious harm to the military industries so it is necessary to choose reasonable cushioning material and design effective buffers to prevent the impact of *** on the capillary property entangled porous metallic wire materials(EPMWM),this paper designed a composite buffer which uses EPMWM and viscous fluid as cushioning materials under the low-speed impact of the recoil force device of weapon equipment(such as artillery,mortar,etc.).Combined with the capillary model,porosity,hydraulic diameter,maximum pore diameter and pore distribution were used to characterize the pore structure characteristics of *** calculation model of the damping force of the composite buffer was *** low-speed impact test of the composite buffer was *** parameters of the buffer under low-speed impact were identified according to the model,and the nonlinear model of damping force was *** test results show that the composite buffer with EPMWM and viscous fluid can absorb the impact energy from the recoil movement effectively,and provide a new method for the buffer design of weapon equipment(such as artillery,mortar,etc.).

Microstructure and mechanical properties stability of pre-hardening treatment in Al-Cu alloys for pre-hardening forming process

The stability of the microstructure and mechanical properties of the pre-hardened sheets during the pre-hardening forming(PHF)process directly determines the quality of the formed *** microstructure stability of the pre-hardened sheets was in-vestigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and small angle X-ray scattering(SAXS),while the mechanical properties and formability were analyzed through uniaxial tensile tests and formability *** results in-dicate that the mechanical properties of the pre-hardened alloys exhibited negligible changes after experiencing 1-month natural aging(NA).The deviations of ultimate tensile strength(UTS),yield strength(YS),and sheet formability(Erichsen value)are all less than 2%.Also,after different NA time(from 48 h to 1 month)is applied to alloys before pre-hardening treatment,the pre-hardened alloys possess stable microstructure and mechanical properties as ***,with the extension of NA time before pre-hardening treatment from 48 h to 1 month,the contribution of NA to the pre-hardening treatment is *** a yield strength increment of 20 MPa is achieved,with no loss in *** limited enhancement is mainly attributed to the fact that only a limited number of clusters are transformed into Guinier-Preston(GP)zones at the early stage of pre-hardening treatment,and the formation ofθ''phase inhibits the nucleation and growth of GP zones as the precipitated phase evolves.
