Distinct brain remodeling has been found after different nerve reconstruction strategies,including motor representation of the affected ***,differences among reconstruction strategies at the brain network level have not been *** study aimed to explore intranetwork changes related to altered peripheral neural pathways after different nerve reconstruction surgeries,including nerve repair,endto-end nerve transfer,and end-to-side nerve ***–Dawley rats underwent complete left brachial plexus transection and were divided into four equal groups of eight:no nerve repair,grafted nerve repair,phrenic nerve end-to-end transfer,and end-to-side transfer with a graft sutured to the anterior upper ***-state brain functional magnetic resonance imaging was obtained 7 months after *** independent component analysis algorithm was utilized to identify group-level network components of interest and extract resting-state functional connectivity values of each voxel within the *** in intra-network resting-state functional connectivity were compared among the *** muscle reinnervation was assessed by behavioral observation(elbow flexion)and *** results showed that alterations in the sensorimotor and interoception networks were mostly related to changes in the peripheral neural *** repair was related to enhanced connectivity within the sensorimotor network,while end-to-side nerve transfer might be more beneficial for restoring control over the affected limb by the original motor *** thalamic-cortical pathway was enhanced within the interoception network after nerve repair and end-to-end nerve *** areas related to cognition and emotion were enhanced after end-to-side nerve *** study revealed important brain networks related to different nerve *** networks may be potential targets for enhancing motor recovery.

One of the primary goals of space-borne gravitational wave detectors is to detect and analyze extreme-mass-ratio inspirals(EMRIs). This task is particularly challenging because EMRI signals are complex, lengthy, and faint. In this work, we introduce a2-layer convolutional neural network(CNN) approach to detect EMRI signals for space-borne detectors, achieving a true positive rate(TPR) of 96.9% at a 1% false positive rate(FPR) for signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) from 50 to 100. Especially, the key intrinsic parameters of EMRIs such as the mass, spin of the supermassive black hole(SMBH) and the initial eccentricity of the orbit can also be inferred directly by employing a neural network. The mass and spin of the SMBH can be determined at 99% and 92% respectively. This will greatly reduce the parameter spaces and computing cost for the following Bayesian parameter *** model also has a low dependency on the accuracy of the waveform model. This study underscores the potential of deep learning methods in EMRI data analysis, enabling the rapid detection of EMRI signals and efficient parameter estimation.

Designing fixed-time tracking consensus protocols for networked Euler-Lagrangian systems with directed graphs

In this paper, a class of disturbed networked Euler-Lagrangian systems is investigated to track a general virtual signal under a general directed communication network. Firstly, a class of fixed-time distributed observer is constructed to estimate the leader's state. Secondly, a local anti-disturbance tracking control based on the previous distributed observer is proposed for each follower to achieve the tracking consensus in a fixed time. A simulation example is finally conducted to verify the proposed algorithm.

Bioaccumulation of heavy metals by Phragmites australis cultivated in synthesized substrates

Accumulation of heavy metals from various oxides with adsorbed cadmium by wetland plant Phragmites australis was studied to evaluate the fate of heavy metals in the sediment of constructed wetlands. Hoagland solution was used as nutrition supply, and single metal oxide with adsorbed cadmium was applied as contaminant to study the accumulation characteristics of cadmium and the substrate metals by P. australis. After 45-d treatment, the bioaccumulation degree in root followed the order： Al（OH）3 〉 Al2O3 〉 Fe3O4 〉 MnO2 〉 FeOOH. heavy metals absorbed by P. australis were largely immobilized by the roots with little translocation to aboveground parts.

Phenomenon of Energy Concentration in High-Energy Family Events of Cosmic Rays

The phenomenon of energy concentration in high-energy family events of cosmic rays is studied by comparing the results of family events of total visible energies 100-400 TeV observed in the Kanbala emulsion chamber experiment with the Monte Carlo simulation data. The simulation is made by the program CORSIKA in which QGSJET is applied as the hadronic interaction model, and the chemical composition of primary cosmic rays is obtained from the rigidity-cut model and the extrapolation of new results of direct measurements. This shows that the whole distribution tendency of the rate of energy concentration of simulated family events is basically consistent with that of the experiment.

Tip-induced or enhanced superconductivity： a way to detect topological superconductivity

Topological materials, hosting topological nontrivial electronic band, have attracted widespread attentions. As an application of topology in physics, the discovery and study of topological materials not only enrich the existing theoretical framework of physics, but also provide fertile ground for investigations on low energy excitations, such as Weyl fermions and Majorana fermions, which have not been observed yet as fundamental particles. These quasiparticles with exotic physical properties make topological materials the cutting edge of scientific research and a new favorite of high tech. As a typical example, Majorana fermions, predicted to exist in the edge state of topological superconductors, are proposed to implement topological error-tolerant quantum computers. Thus, the detection of topological superconductivity has become a frontier in condensed matter physics and materials science. here, we review a way to detect topological superconductivity triggered by the hard point contact: tip-induced superconductivity(TISC) and tip-enhanced superconductivity(TESC). The TISC refers to the superconductivity induced by a non-superconducting tip at the point contact on non-superconducting materials. We take the elaboration of the chief experimental achievement of TISC in topological Dirac semimetal Cd_3As_2 and Weyl semimetal Ta As as key components of this article for detecting topological superconductivity. Moreover, we also briefly introduce the main results of another exotic effect, TESC, in superconducting Au_2Pb and Sr_2RuO_4 single crystals, which are respectively proposed as the candidates of helical topological superconductor and chiral topological superconductor. Related results and the potential mechanism are conducive to improving the comprehension of how to induce and enhance the topological superconductivity.

Magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)induction pumps are contactless pumps able to withstand harsh *** rate of fluid flow through the pump directly affects the efficiency and stability of the *** explore the influence of induction pump settings on the related delivery speed,in this study,a numerical model for coupled electromagnetic and flow field effects is introduced and used to simulate liquid metal lithium flow in the induction *** effects of current intensity,frequency,coil turns and coil winding size on the velocity of the working fluid are *** is shown that the first three parameters have a significant impact,while changes in the coil turns have a negligible *** maximum increase in working fluid velocity within the pump for the parameter combination investigated in this paper is approximately 618%.As the frequency is increased from 20 to 60 Hz,the maximum increase in the mean flow rate of the working fluid is approximately 241%.These research findings are intended to support the design and optimization of these devices.

Flow Control for a Two-Stage Proportional Valve with Hydraulic Position Feedback

The current research mainly focuses on the flow control for the two-stage proportional valve with hydraulic position feedback which is named as Valvistor ***,the Valvistor valve is a proportional throttle valve and the flow fluctuates with the change of load *** flow fluctuation severely restricts the application of the Valvistor *** this paper,a novel flow control method the Valvistor valve is provided to suppress the flow fluctuation and develop a high performance proportional flow *** mathematical model of this valve is established and *** proportional-integral-derivative(PID)controller is adopted in the closed-loop flow control *** feedback is obtained by the flow inference with back-propagation neural network(BPNN)based on the spool displacement in the pilot stage and the pressure differential across the main *** results show that inference with BPNN can obtain the flow data fast and *** the flow control method,the flow can keep at the set point when the pressure differential across the main orifice *** flow control method is effective and the Valvistor valve changes from proportional throttle valve to proportional flow *** the developed proportional flow valve,the settling time of the flow is very short when the load pressure changes *** performances of hysteresis,linearity and bandwidth are in a high *** linear mathematical model can be verified and the assumptions in the system modeling is reasonable.
