COVID-19 is a pandemic that has affected nearly every country in the *** present,sustainable development in the area of public health is considered vital to securing a promising and prosperous future for ***,widespread diseases,such as COVID-19,create numerous challenges to this goal,and some of those challenges are not yet *** this study,a Shallow Single-Layer Perceptron neural network(SSLPnn)and Gaussian Process Regression(GPR)model were used for the classification and prediction of confirmed COVID-19 cases in five geographically distributed regions of Asia with diverse settings and environmental conditions:namely,China,South Korea,Japan,Saudi Arabia,and *** environmental and non-environmental features were taken as the input dataset,and confirmed COVID-19 cases were taken as the output dataset.A correlation analysis was done to identify patterns in the cases related to fluctuations in the associated *** results of this study established that the population and air quality index of a region had a statistically significant influence on the ***,age and the human development index had a negative influence on the *** proposed SSLPnn-based classification model performed well when predicting the classes of confirmed *** training,the binary classification model was highly accurate,with a Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)of ***,the results of the regression analysis using the GPR technique with Matern 5/2 were highly accurate(RMSE=0.95239)when predicting the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in an ***,dynamic management has occupied a core place in studies on the sustainable development of public health but dynamic management depends on proactive strategies based on statistically verified approaches,like Artificial Intelligence(AI).In this study,an SSLPnn model has been trained to fit public health associated data into an appropriate class,allowing GPR to predict the number of confir

The effect of phosphorus on the oxidation resistance of low thermal expansion alloy In909 was studied. The composition and structure of the oxidation layer were analyzed. It is found that the oxidation initiates at the grain boundaries. During the oxidation, fe atoms diffuse toward the surface and form the outside oxidation layer as the oxide of iron. The transition oxidation layer lies between the oxidation layer and the matrix which is enriched with nb, Ti and Si, forming feTiO5, nb2O5,fe2SiO4 and TiO2. Phosphorus hardly influences the thermal expansion coefficient of In909 alloy. However, it increases the formation ofεphase at the boundary of the transition oxidation layer and matrix. As a result, the oxidation rate is decreased efficiently because theεphase inhibits the diffusion of the element such as iron from the matrix to the oxidation layer.

Introduction: Marital satisfaction has remained a topic of great interest worldwide. Association has been postulated between marital satisfaction, job satisfaction and mental health. There is, however, a paucity of research on marital satisfaction in nigeria, particularly in relation to job satisfaction and psychological health. Objective: The objective of this study is thus to assess the level of marital satisfaction and to explore the relationship if any between marital satisfaction, job satisfaction and mental health of secondary school teachers in Benin City, Edo State, nigeria. Methods: A cross sectional study was conducted on teachers in secondary schools in Benin City, nigeria. A total population of 300 teachers who had been married and teaching for at least one year were included in the study. The information required for the study were collected using a self-administered questionnaire and two standard instruments, the Index of Marital Satisfaction (IMS) and the General Health Questionnaire 28 (GHQ 28). The GHQ was used to assess the workers psychological health, while the IMS was used to assess the degree of marital satisfaction. Results: Two hundred and fifteen (82.7%) teachers had marital satisfaction, 54 (20.8%) had psychological disorder while 56 (21.5%) were dissatisfied with their job. A strong association was found between marital dissatisfaction and psychological disorder (X2 = 56.826;df = 1, P = 0.0004). no association was found between marital dissatisfaction and job dissatisfaction. no association was also found between job dissatisfaction and psychological disorder. Conclusion: A high level of marital satisfaction was found in the study population. However, the strong association also found between marital dissatisfaction and psychological disorder provides empirical evidence on the need to educate married couples as well as the general public on the mental health implication of marital dissatisfaction.

novel ZnSe/niO heterostructure nanocomposites were successfully prepared by one-step hydrothermal *** ZnSe/niO-based sensor exhibits a response of~96.47% to 8×10^(-6) nO_(2) at 140℃,which is significantly higher than those of intrinsic ZnSe-based(no response)and niO-based(~19.65%)*** theoretical detection limit(LOD)of the sensor is calculated to be 8.91×10^(-9),indicating that the sensor can be applied to detect the ultralow concentrations of.n._(2).The effect of.n.O content on the gas-sensing performance of the nanocomposites was investigated in *** optimal niO content in the nanocomposite is determined to be15.16%to achieve the highest *** as-fabricated sensor also presents an excellent selectivity to several possible interferents such as methanol,ethanol,acetone,benzene,ammonia and *** enhanced sensing performance can be attributed to the formation of p-p heterostructures between ZnSe and niO,which induces the charge transfer across the interfaces and yields more active sites.

We demonstrate a multi-wavelength erbium-doped fiber laser （EDfL） using erbium gain and four-wave mixing （fWM） effect in a piece of erbium-doped fiber （EDf） with high erbium ion concentration. The EDf has a pump absorption rate of 24.6 dB/m at 979 nm and is bi-directionally pumped by 980-nm laser diodes. fWM effect redistributes the energy of different oscillating lines and causes multi-wavelength operation. The laser generates more than 22 lines of optical comb with a line spacing of approximately 0.10 nm at the 1569-nm region using only 1.5-m-long EDf.

The aim of the research was to examine the influence of organo-modified Indian bentonite （IB） nanoclay dispersed in vinyisster on the mechanical properties of.n.noclaylvinylesterlglass nanocomposRes. nanoclay was organically modified using cationic surfactant hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide （HDTMA-Br） by cation exchange method and dispersed in vinylester using ultrasonication and twin screw extrusion. XRD of.n.noclaylvinylester revealed exfoliaUon at 4 wt.% nanoclay indicating uniform dispersion in the polymer. DSC results showed improvement in glass transition temperature by 22.3% in 4 wt.% nanoclaylvinylester/glass when compared with that of vinylester/glass. nanoclay/vinylester/glass with 4 wt,% nanoclay showed 29.23%, 23.84% and 60.87% improvement in ultimate tensile strength （UTS）, fiexural strength （fS） and interlaminar shear strength （ILSS） respectively when compared with those of vinylester! glass. The mode of tensile failure examined by SEM showed no agglomeration of.n.noclay in 4 wt.% nanoclayninylester/glass specimens.

Concentrations of a number of organophosphate flame retardants(PfRs)were measured in floor dust collected from living rooms in Australia(n=42),Canada(n=14),Germany(n=22),and Kazakhstan(n=9);cars from Australia(n=39)and Germany(n=19);and offices from Germany(n=25)and Kazahkstan(n=8).PfR concentrations in these samples were compared with each other and with previously reported data for PfRs in dust from similar microenvironments in the *** data reveal significant between-country differences in both absolute concentrations and the relative abundance of specific PfRs in each of the microenvironments *** notably,concentrations of TCIPP in UK living room dust(median=21 μg g^-1)exceeded significantly(pn all other countries studied here;a substantial number of car dust samples contained elevated concentrations of TDCIPP,and German samples generally contained lower levels of PfRs in all microenvironments *** addition,PfRs were determined in dust samples collected from living room couches in both Australia(n=41)and the UK(n=10).The elevated concentrations of TCIPP in UK living room dust are likely attributable to the favoured use of this PfR in UK couch *** is indicated by concentrations of TCIPP in UK couch dust(median=610 μg g^-1)exceeding significantly those in Australian couch dust(median=2.9 μg g^-1).Moreover,concentrations of TCIPP in UK couch dust originating from couches 15 years old or less,display a marked relationship with the age of the couch,with concentrations in such samples increasing significantly(p<0.01)with couch age.

Cd1-xZnxSe films with different zinc contents are deposited by an electron beam evaporation technique onto glass substrates for applications in solid-state photovoltalc devices. The structural, optical and photoelectrochemical （PEC） properties of Cd1-xZnxSe films are studied. The host material Cd1-xZnxSe is prepared by the physical vapor deposition method of electron beam evaporation technique （PVD： EBE） under a pressure of 1 × 10^-5 mbar. The x-ray diffractogram indicates that these alloy films are polycrystalline in nature, hexagonal structure with strong preferential orientation of the crystallites along （002） direction. The optical properties shows that the band gap Eg varies from 2.08 to 2.84eV as zinc content varies from 0.2 to 0.8. A PEC cell of the configuration n-Cd1-xZnxSe/na2S-S-naOH is fabricated and the dynamic current-voltage characteristics in the dark atmosphere have been examined at room temperature. It has been found that both Voc and Iac decrease with the photoelectrode composition x. Efficiency η and fill factor （ff） also show similar variations. The material properties would be altered and excellently controlled by controlling the system composition x.

Gravity data have been processed in the Douala sedimentary sub-basin in a section consisting of a set of 116 gravity data points located between latitudes 3°03'n and 4°06'n and longitudes 9°00'E and 10°00'E. The established Bouguer anomaly fields and the Residual anomaly fields, extracted by upward continuation at an optimum height of 30 km, were both characterized by considerably high positive anomalies. These anomalies showed many ring-like positive gravity anomaly contour lines in the study region. Gravity gradients were analysed using the multi-scale horizontal derivative of the vertical derivative (MSHDVD) method, and this excluded the existence of fault lines across this region. Amplitude spectrum was used to estimate the potential field source at a depth of about 4.8 km. The ideal body theory capable of handling sparse data contaminated with noise was applied along a 50.2 km WWS-EEn profile to determine a density contrast of 0.266 g/cm3. Using these results as constraints, 2.5 D modelling carried out along this profile presented two major blocks with density contrast of 0.266 g/cm3. The first block is probably an intrusive igneous body with a density of about 2.77 g/cm3 , having an average thickness of about 26 km with its top and base lying at depths of about 4.25 km and 30.25 km respectively. The second block is likely a pillar of igneous material, located at a depth of about 10.77 km with a density of about 2.77 g/cm3 whose base goes deep down beyond the crust-mantle boundary. These results support previous f.n.ings that there are similarities between the Douala sedimentary sub-basin and the coastal sedimentary basin of Mauritania-Senegal and thus foster the suggestions of a more extensive movement that would have affected the whole of the West African coast.
