Geochemical characteristics of natural gases and source rocks in Obayied sub-basin,north Western Desert,Egypt:implications for gas-source correlation

Western Desert represents a major oil and gas province in Egypt producing more than 50%of the country’s oil *** and gas blend occurs in most producing fields,however,the genetic link between gas and liquid hydrocarbon phases are not *** sub-basin in the Western Desert where oil and gas phases coexist in the Middle Jurassic sandstones of the Khatatba Formation provides an ideal place to investigate the link between oil and gas *** analyses on rock samples(Rock–Eval pyrolysis,vitrinite reflectance,R_(o))and gases(molecular and isotopic composition)were conducted in order to identify the genetic characteristics of the hydrocarbon phases ***-relevant parameters(Rock–Eval T_(max),vitrinite reflectance R_(o))elucidate that only Middle Jurassic Khatatba organofacies capable of generating wet and dry hydrocarbon ***,the enrichment of C_(7)normal alkanes,mono-branched alkanes relative to polybranched components in the Obayied gases reflect their generation via cracking of *** modelling results confirm gas generation through both primary and secondary ***,secondary cracking of liquid hydrocarbon phases is volumetrically more *** cracking of the Khatatba organofacies likely predate and catalyze the secondary cracking of the liquid phases and therefore the volume of generated gas increases incrementally eastward where both processes *** present study highlights the significant role of secondary cracking in the generation and accumulation of huge gas accumulations in the basins containing oil-prone source intervals.

AIM：To develop a novel model of colitis in rats, using a combination of iodoacetamide and enteropathogenic E. coli（EPEC）, and to elucidate the pathophysiologic processes implicated in the development of ulcerative colitis （UC）. METHODS： Hale Sprague-Dawley rats （/7 = 158） were inoculated intrarectally on a weekly basis with 4 different combinations：（a） 1% methylcellulose （HC）, （b） 100 μL of 6% iodoacetamide （IA） in 1% HC, （c） 200 p.L containing 4×10^8 colony factor units （CFU） of EPEC, and （d） combined treatment of （IA） followed by bacteria （13） after 2 d. Thirty days post treatment, each of the four groups was divided into two subgroups; the inoculation was stopped for one subgroup and the other subgroup continued with biweekly inoculation until the end of the experiment. Colitis was evaluated by the clinical course of the disease, the macroscopic and microscopic alterations, activity of myeloperoxidase （HPO）, and by TNF-α gene expression. RESULTS： Findings indicative of UC were seen in the combined treatment （IA ＋ B） as well as the IA continued treatment groups： the animals showed slow rate of increase in body weight, diarrhea, bloody stools, high colonic ulcer score, as well as histological alterations characteristic of UC, with an extensive inflammatory reaction. During the course of the experiment, the MPO activity was consistently elevated and the TNF-α gene expression was upregulated compared to the control animals. CONCLUSION： The experimental ulcerative colitis model used in the present study resembles, to a great extent, the human disease. It is reproducible with characteristics indicative of chronicity.

This paper presents a radio optical network simulation tool(RONST)for modeling optical-wireless *** a typical optical and electrical chain environment,performance should be optimized concurrently before system *** a result,simulating such systems turns out to be a multidisciplinary *** governing equations are incompatible with co-simulation in the traditional environments of existing software(SW)*** ultra-wideband(UWB)technology is an ideal candidate for providing high-speed short-range access for wireless *** limited wireless reach of this technology is a significant limitation.A feasible solution to the problem of extending UWB signals is to transmit these signals to endusers via optical *** concept implies the need for the establishment of a dependable environment for studying such ***,the essential novelty of the proposed SW is that it provides designers,engineers,and researchers with a dependable simulation framework that can accurately and efficiently predict and/or optimize the behavior of such systems in a single optical-electronic simulation ***,it is supported by a strong mathematical foundation with integrated algorithms to achieve broad flexibility and low computational *** validate the proposed tool,RONST was deployed on an ultra-wideband over fiber(UWBoF)*** bit error rate(BER)has been calculated over a UWBoF system,and there is good agreement between the experimental and simulated results.

Hydrocarbon-Source Correlation in the Obayied Sub-Basin,North Western Desert,Egypt:Controls on Generation of Natural Gas and Light Crude Hydrocarbon Blends

Obayied sub-basin provides one-third of the annual natural gas production in the Egyptian Western *** origin of the Obayied hydrocarbons are however poorly *** this study,the molecular biomarkers of the Obayied hydrocarbon blend were studied to infer on their origin and generation *** API values are in the range of(41.3°-53.7°)reflecting post-mature *** molecular biomarkers suggest a generation of Obayied crude from clay-rich fluviodeltaic source ***-and maturity-relevant biomarkers(e.g.,Ts/Tm trisnorhopanes and methylphenanthrene indices)reflect a successive expulsion of the Obayied crudes from mature Jurassic rocks(>1%Ro).Biological markers correlate perfectly with those of the Jurassic Khatatba shale and coal extracts ***,the Obayied gases are wet,thermogenic and have been derived from a mature typeⅢkerogen(1.3%Ro-2%Ro).The studied gases display compositional characteristics of mixed coal-and oil-type gases,and were therefore derived via primary cracking of the Khatatba coal as well as secondary cracking of the light liquid *** present study clarifies the controls on the geochemical processes responsible for the accumulation of liquid and gas hydrocarbon mix in the deep as well as shallow inverted rift basins of the north Western Desert,Egypt.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)provide a reliable and energyefficient solution for data collection from the Narrowband Internet of Things(NB-IoT)***,the UAV’s deployment optimization,including locations of the UAV’s stop points,is a necessity to minimize the energy consumption of the UAV and the NB-IoT devices and also to conduct the data collection *** this regard,this paper proposes GainingSharing Knowledge(GSK)algorithm for optimizing the UAV’s *** GSK,the number of UAV’s stop points in the three-dimensional space is encapsulated into a single individual with a fixed length representing an entire *** superiority of using GSK in the tackled problem is verified by simulation in seven *** provides significant results in all seven scenarios compared with other four optimization algorithms used before with the same ***,the NB-IoT is proposed as the wireless communication technology between the UAV and IoT devices.

Security and safety remain paramount concerns for both governments and individuals *** today’s context,the frequency of crimes and terrorist attacks is alarmingly increasing,becoming increasingly intolerable to ***,there is a pressing need for swift identification of potential threats to preemptively alert law enforcement and security forces,thereby preventing potential attacks or violent *** advancements in big data analytics and deep learning have significantly enhanced the capabilities of computer vision in object detection,particularly in identifying *** paper introduces a novel automatic firearm detection surveillance system,utilizing a one-stage detection approach named MARIE(Mechanism for Realtime Identification of Firearms).MARIE incorporates the Single Shot Multibox Detector(SSD)model,which has been specifically optimized to balance the speed-accuracy trade-off critical in firearm detection *** SSD model was further refined by integrating MobileNetV2 and InceptionV2 architectures for superior feature extraction *** experimental results demonstrate that this modified SSD configuration provides highly satisfactory performance,surpassing existing methods trained on the same dataset in terms of the critical speedaccuracy *** these innovations,MARIE sets a new standard in surveillance technology,offering a robust solution to enhance public safety effectively.

埃及与中国都是拥有着各自文化的文明古国。随着中埃的进一步合作发展,学习汉语的埃及人也逐渐增多,教授汉语的地点也随之增多,不止大学和孔子学院。本文的调查对象为66位埃及汉语学习者,这些学习者的年龄、汉语水平、汉语学习经验及性别都不同。教学是种人才培养的过程,由教师的教与学习者的学共同组成。教师和学习者在教与学的过程中产生了重要联系,而在此过程中,教师与学习者会遇到一些不可避免的问题与障碍,如:沟通困难、教材缺陷、教学方法落后、教学环境恶劣等,因此为了克服这些困难与减轻障碍,有必要对这些困难产生的原因做充分的了解。为了研究埃及汉语学习者对埃及本土汉语教师与埃及中国汉语教师的满意度和接受度,本文对埃及本土汉语教师与埃及中国汉语教师的汉语教学特点及效果进行研究,以埃及学习者为观察研究对象,通过问卷,调查埃及汉语学习者对埃及本土汉语教师和埃及中国汉语教师的教学特点并做出学习反馈和建议。问卷调查显示埃及本土汉语教师和埃及中国汉语教师对埃及汉语学习者均十分重要,且优缺点鲜明。虽然调查问卷显示埃、中两国教师的教学是有效的,但是也同时揭示了两国教师的不足之处与学习者的困难和需求等。其中包括:学习者与教师沟通困难的问题、缺乏练习汉语机会的问题、教师的严厉造成学习者产生距离感的问题、教师无法因材施教的问题等。同时,问卷调查结果还显示埃及汉语学习者对埃及本土汉语教师和中国汉语教师的满意度较高,也显示出埃、中两国教师对埃及汉语学习者存在的重要性与学习者对两国教师的需求。因此,本研究致力于更加深入地了解埃及汉语学习者在学习汉语的过程中所面临的困难及其产生的原因。通过对埃及学习者给两国教师建议的梳理,总结埃及汉语学习者对两国教师提出来的学习反馈与教学建议,能够把握埃及汉语学习者学习汉语的难点和更适合埃及学习者的汉语教学方法,帮助埃、中两国教师和埃及学习者探索出汉语学习的更加有效果的学和教的汉语环境,帮助埃及汉语学习者更好地把握汉语,达到学习汉语目标,也帮助埃中两国教师提高教学质量,提升教学效果。

派生构词法也称为附加构词法,是语言的基本构词法之一。汉语和阿拉伯语构词法既有相同之处,又有较大的差别。阿拉伯语的主要构词法是派生构词法,派生构词法虽然不是汉语构词法的主体,但是近年来派生构词法对汉语词汇的衍生起很大的作用,汉语词汇中派生词占的比例逐渐增多,派生词的范围也越来越大,派生词的社会文化作用也越来越重要。因此本人从派生构词法的角度来探讨汉语教学具有一定的理论意义和实践意义。而对于母语已有派生体系的外国学生(特别是阿拉伯学生)来说,汉语派生构词法及派生词教学的研究价值更大。本论文以派生词构词法为基点,研究汉语的构词法、汉语派生词构词法以及汉语派生词的特点,同时研究阿拉伯语派生构词法和派生词特点,在此基础上试图通过它们之间的对比,分析派生构词法在这两种语言中的地位的作用,并找出他们之间的异同,其中,汉阿派生词的主要差异表现在三个方面,一是派生词的构成元素不一样;二是派生词所占的比例不一样;三是派生词的紧密程度不一样。在此基础上为阿拉伯学生汉语教学和中国文化学习提出一些合理的建议。建议主要包括:利用派生词进行教学;利用字群或词群进行教学;利用派生词语言文化知识进行教学。该论文所得建议将有助于阿拉伯学生,甚至其它学习汉语的外国学生更容易把握汉语词汇,扩大自己的词汇量,理解派生词的社会文化内涵,更好地掌握汉语和中华文化。

病毒感染导致大蒜产量下降,品质变劣。大蒜种质资源的收集、监测和安全保存对大蒜产量、抗病性和品质的遗传改良具有重要意义。【目的】检测我国大蒜资源中病毒的携带和分布情况。【方法】采用2种多重反转录聚合酶链式反应(reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction,RT-PCR)方法对689份大蒜种质资源中的7种病毒的分布进行了检测。【结果】研究表明,青葱X病毒属病毒[包括GarV-A、GarV-B、GarV-C、GarV-D、GarV-E、GarV-X、葱病毒X(SHVX)]携带率最高(98.69%),接着依次是洋葱黄矮病毒(OYDV,90.13%)、大蒜螨传丝状病毒(GMBFV,71.12%)、韭菜黄条病毒(LYSV,50.65%)、葱潜隐病毒(SLV,49.20%)、马铃薯Y病毒(PVY,41.94%)和大蒜普通潜隐病毒(GarCLV,32.08%)。其中有27份资源(3.92%)含有7种病毒,122份(17.71%)含有6种病毒,190份(27.58%)携带5种病毒,150份(21.77%)携带4种病毒,129份(18.72%)含有3种病毒,62份(9.00%)含有2种病毒,7份(1.02%)只携带1种病毒,而有2份资源(0.29%)没有检测到病毒。此外,大蒜资源种植世代与病毒种类数呈显著正相关(P<0.05),茎尖培养可以有效地减少或清除病毒。【结论】本研究明确了我国大蒜种质资源中7种主要病毒的分布情况,为大蒜种质资源的安全保存提供了理论参考,也为大蒜的抗病毒育种提供了基因资源。

The combination of endoglin and FIB-4 increases the accuracy of detection of hepatic fibrosis in chronic hepatitis C patients

Background and aim: In patients infected with chronic hepatitis C virus, liver biopsy is the gold standard method of staging fibrosis. Different combinations of serum markers attempted to correlate with hepatic fibrosis in place of liver biopsy and have shown encouraging results. The aim of our study is to evaluate the diagnostic value of endoglin and FIB-4 as non-invasive markers of hepatic fibrosis in HCV patients. Methods: We estimated serum endoglin & FIB-4 index in 40 infected chronic hepatitis C patients. Histological staging of hepatic fibrosis was done according to the METAVIR scoring system. Results: Both endoglin and FIB-4 index showed positive correlation with age and aspartate transaminase and inverse correlation with albumin. The diagnostic performance determined by AUROCs for early fibrosis (≤F2), was 0.868 for endoglin and 0.887 for FIB-4, at cut off va- lues of 5.5 & 0.98 with sensitivity of 64.3% & 82.1%, and specificity of 100% & 85% respectively. For ad-vanced fibrosis (>F2), the AUROC was 0.98 for endoglin and 0.967 for FIB-4, obtained at cut off values of 6.29 & 1.6, with sensitivity of 100% & 91.7%, and specificity of 89.3% & 92.9%, respectively. Conclusion: Both serum endoglin and FIB-4 index are fairly accurate in differentiating stages of hepatic fibrosis;their combination in a single equation enhanced the accuracy of fibrosis detection in chronic HCV patients.
