The gallbladder(GB)is a susceptible organ,prone to various pathologies that can be identified using different im.ging *** ultrasound(TUS)is typically the initial diagnostic m.thod due to its num.rous well-established ***,in cases of uncertainty or when a definitive diagnosis cannot be established,com.uted tom.graphy(CT)or m.gnetic resonance im.ging m.y be em.loyed to provide m.re detailed ***,CT scans m.y som.tim.s offer inadequate spatial resolution,which can lim.t the differentiation of GB lesions,particularly when sm.ller yet clinically relevant abnorm.lities are ***,endoscopic ultrasound(EUS)provides higher frequency com.ared to TUS,superior spatial resolution,and the option for contrast-enhanced harm.nic im.ging,enabling a m.re com.rehensive ***,EUS can serve as a supplem.ntary tool when conventional im.ging m.thods are *** review will describe the standard EUS exam.nation of the GB,focusing on its endosonographic characteristics in various GB path-ologies.

InGaN/GaN laser diode characterization and quantum.well num.er effect

The effect of quantum.well num.er on the quantum.efficiency and tem.erature characteristics of In- GaN/GaN laser diodes （LDs） is determ.ned and investigated. The 3-nm.thick In0.13Ca0.87N wells and two 6-am.thick GaN barriers are selected as an active region for Fabry-Perot （FP） cavity waveguide edge em.tting LD. The internal quantum.efficiency and internal optical loss coefficient are extracted through the sim.lation software for single, double, and triple InGaN/GaN quantum.wells. The effects of device tem.erature on the laser threshold current, external differential quantum.efficiency （DQE）, and output wavelength are also investigated. The external quantum.efficiency and characteristic tem.erature are im.roved significantly when the quantum.well num.er is two. It is indicated that the laser structures with m.ny quantum.wells will suffer from.the inhom.geneity of the carrier density within the quantum.well itself which affects the LD perform.nce.

We dem.nstrated a new type of m.X phase m.terial， Chrom.um.Titanium.Alum.num.Carbide (Cr2TiAlC2) polym.r film.to generate a passively Q-switched erbium.doped fiber laser. The film.thickness was m.asured around 45 μm.which was fabricated using the em.edding m.thod with PVA polym.r as hoster. The SA film.dem.nstrates a dual-wavelength passively Q-switched erbium.doped fiber laser （EDFL） which operates at 1531 nm.and 1560.19 nm. respectively. The Q-switching pulse duration could be varied from.2.46 μs to 770 ns while the repetition rate varied from.92.76 kHz to 106.6 kHz with an increasing input pum.ing range of 154 m. to 300 m.. The m.xim.m.output power and pulse energy of 15.05 m. and 141.18 nJ were obtained at a m.xim.m.input power of 300 m.， respectively. To the best of our knowledge， this is the first tim. that on dual-wavelength Q-switched EDF laser by Cr2TiAlC2as SA.

Toxicological and Life-Cycle Perspectives on Waste-Derived Nanoparticles

m.ny nanoparticles have been created over the last few decades using a variety of techniques and used to develop environm.ntal technology, including water treatm.nt, the detection of persistent contam.nants, and soil and water rem.diation. The studies of alternative inputs for nanoparticle production as well as the use of green synthesis techniques are driven by the field of m.terials science and engineering’s growing interest in increasing the sustainability of the processes involved in their production. In this paper, we begin by providing an overview of the fundam.ntal principles of producing nanoparticles from.different sources, such as plastic, electronic, m.tal, and industrial waste. We elaborate on key facts of waste identification as a workable input for the treatm.nt and recovery of m.tal and carbon-based nanoparticles. We next go over several controlling factors that play a role in creating nanoparticles, pointing out probable conclusions as we go. Then, we show som. instances of waste-derived nanoparticles used in a proof-of-concept experim.nt of technology for applications in water quality and safety. Before scaling up production and im.lem.nting waste-derived nanoparticles, there are several present problem. from.the toxicological and life-cycle perspectives that m.st be taken into account.

Oviposition preference of swallowtail butterfly, Papilio polytes （Lepidoptera Papilionidae） on four Rutaceae （Sapindales） host plant species

Oviposition preference and egg deposition site selection by the butterfly, Papilio polytes L. （Lepidoptera： Papilionidae） on four rutaceous host plants, Citrus aurantofolia （Christm.） Swing., Citrus hystrix DC., Citrus reticulata Blanco, and m.rraya koenigii （L.） Sprengel, were assessed in field cages m.asuring 2 × 2 ×2 m. Sim.ltaneous two-choice and four-choice oviposition tests of whole host plants were conducted. The m.an total num.er of eggs laid per plant on C. reticulata in the two-choice test was significantly higher （P 〈 0.01） than those on C. aurantifolia, C. hystrix, andm. koenigii. Am.ng the three other host plants, C. aurantifolia was preferred over C. hystrix, and m. koenigii （P 〈 0.01） and C. hystrix was preferred over m. koenigii （P 〈 0.01）. In the four-choice test, C. reticulata was highly preferred and significantly different from.C. hystrix and m. koenigii. However, no oviposition preference was detected with C. aurantifolia. Am.ng the various plant parts in the two- and four-choice tests, eggs on leaves of each plant were the highest, followed by num.ers on stem., and negligible num.ers on pots. These num.ers on leaves of C. reticulata and C. aurantifolia were not significantly different （P 〉 0.05）, but differed significantly （P 〈 0.01） from.those on leaves of C. hystrix and m. koenigii. The quantitative trend of egg-laying on stem. was very sim.lar to that observed for the leaves. Papilio polytes showed strong preference to lay eggs on the underside of leaves of all host plants than on the upper side or on the petiole. m.re eggs were laid on the upper side of each host plant than on its petiole. The four host plants in descending order of preference were C. reticulata 〉 C. aurantifolia 〉 C. hystrix 〉 m. koenigii. Although m. koenigii was the least preferred, it has the potential to serve as an alternative host plant for P. polytes which can be m.nipulated when necessary, to alleviate the infestation of this pest to the citrus industry.

The operating param.ters such as the internal quantum.efficiency （η）, internal loss （α） and transparent threshold current density （J0） of double quantum.well laser diodes were investigated and identified using the program. Integrated System.Engineering-Technical Com.uter Aided Design （ISE-TCAD）. Various thicknesses （6, 7, 8, 10, 12 rim. of AlxInyGa1-x-yN barriers with （3 nm. Al0.08In0.08Ga0.84N wells as an active region were studied. The lowest threshold current （lth）, and the highest output power （Pop） were 116 m. and 196 m. respectively, at barriers thickness of 6 nm. Al m.le fraction of 10% and In m.le fraction of 1%, at an em.ssion wavelength of 359.6 nm.

进入21世纪后,绿色经济成为国际社会的主流话题,多个阿拉伯国家相继提出了绿色经济转型的战略目标。阿拉伯国家绿色转型过程中的决定因素主要由其作用主体、金融投资、绿色科技及绿色理念构成。在这些因素的主导下,近年来多个阿拉伯国家在绿色经济发展上取得了长足进展,但也面临着转型困境,需要解决国家优先事项议程、产业平衡及中小企业发展滞后、技术转让需求增加和技术创新能力不济、可持续发展财政拨款和社会融资贫乏等问题。中国在阿拉伯国家绿色转型过程中扮演了重要角色,其绿色经济发展的经验与策略为阿拉伯国家提供了较好的示范作用,主要体现在战略应和、技术转移、对外投资和智库交流四个方面。伴随阿拉伯国家绿色经济转型的不断深入,中国与阿拉伯国家在该领域的合作也呈现出前所未有的机遇。

A rich fauna of Ephem.roptera(m.yfly),Plecoptera(stonefly) and Trichoptera(caddisfly)(EPT) were collected from.14 highland stream. discharging into the Tem.nggor Reservoir in Perak in the northern peninsular *** of the 3 orders,Ephem.roptera was the m.st diverse but Trichoptera was the m.st abundant.45 genera that belonged to 25 fam.lies of EPT were *** of EPT varied significantly between orders and types of stream. they *** diversity and abundance were higher in the second and third order *** was no significant relationship between environm.ntal param.ters and diversity as well as abundance of EPT in these *** diversity indices together with EPT taxa richness scores referred to clean water environm.nt,hence very suitable for these *** EPT taxa richness calculated for the 14 stream. reflected that 13 out of 14 stream. were undisturbed having good water quality(value of EPT taxa richness > 10).Previous logging and m.ning activities were suspected to be the m.in cause for trem.ndous disappearance of EPT genera in the Kelian *** no previous hum.n activities were recorded around the Telang stream.natural phenom.na possibly contributed to low abundance of these insects in the Telang stream.
