【目的】信号肽对效应因子的分泌至关重要,影响病原微生物的致病进程。前期鉴定到在稻曲病菌侵染水稻花器官过程中显著上调表达的10个效应因子基因,但这些效应因子是否含有功能性信号肽及其表达模式尚不明确。【方法】利用SignaIP-5.0数据库预测、烟草瞬时表达系统和酵母信号肽分泌实验,分析并鉴定这些效应因子的信号肽。利用实时荧光定量PCR技术,检测效应因子基因的表达模式。【结果】UV_44、UV_1548、UV_1567等10个稻曲病菌效应因子均含有信号肽。烟草瞬时表达结果显示,含有信号肽的eYFP融合蛋白在细胞质壁分离后均能分泌到质外体空间。酵母菌信号肽分泌结果显示,分别携带这10个信号肽的酵母菌株可在以棉子糖为唯一碳源的培养基上生长,且与TTC发生显色反应。实时荧光定量结果表明,除了UV_6754,其余9个效应因子基因的表达模式不尽相同,其中UV_44、UV_1567、UV_3667、UV_4213、UV_4989、UV_5215和UV_8184的表达量在接种后显著升高。【结论】这10个稻曲病菌效应因子均含有分泌功能的信号肽,编码效应因子的基因在稻曲病菌侵染过程中具有不同的表达模式。该结果为深入研究以上稻曲病菌效应因子的功能奠定了基础。

The super-austenitic stainless steels are extensively utilized in the seamless tubes production for oil extraction industries. Due to the importance of thermo-mechanical processing in the production of these tubes, the dynamic recrystallization （DRX） characteristics of a Cr-Ni super austenitic stainless steel （1.4563） were investigated in the present study. This was performed using the hot compression testing method in the temperature range of 950-1150℃ and the strain rate of 10^-3-10^-1 s^-1. The initiation and evolution of DRX were examined through microstructural analysis. The results indicated that the recrystallized grain formed a necklace type structure at the prior austenite grain boundaries at higher strain rates. In addition, DRX nucleation occurs by bulging and successive strain induced boundary migration （SIBM）.

介电电容器具有重量轻、充放电速度快、功率密度高等优点,在航空航天储能器件领域的作用日益凸显。采用模板法与电泳沉积法相结合制备了多尺度结构的柔性复合电介质材料钛酸钡/聚二甲基硅氧烷(BTO/PDMS),研究了其微观无序、有序结构对介电性能的影响,并通过理论模拟对其介电与介电强度性能进行了系统分析,为提高复合电介质储能密度的研究提供了理论铺垫。结果表明:当BTO含量达到10.16%(质量分数)时,复合材料的相对介电常数在1000 Hz时提升到85(纯PDMS的相对介电常数仅为2.75);当BTO的体积分数在5%∼20%之间变化时,介电常数随BTO含量的增加呈线性增加;此外,通过调控BTO形貌的有序定向结构(如四方或蜂窝定向结构),介电性能得到提升,某些特定方向的介电强度性能显著提高;将聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)和PDMS复合形成核壳结构,常数略有提升,填料与基体的介电性能差异减小,介电强度性能得到提升。

AIM: To determine serum γ-glutamyltransferase (GGT), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) activity, and to assess their correlation with demographic and clinical findings in healthy blood donors. METHODS: This cross-sectional study was performed in 934 male blood donors, aged 18 to 68 years, who consecutively attended Tehran blood transfusion service in 2006. All participants were seronegative for HBV or HCV infections, non alcohol users, and all underwent a standard interview and anthropometric tests. Clinical and biochemical parameters including AST, ALT, and GGT activities were determined. Patients taking drugs known to cause hepatic fat deposition were excluded. For AST, ALT, and GGT variables, we used 33.33 and 66.66 percentiles, so that each of them was divided into three tertiles. RESULTS: Mean AST, ALT, and GGT activities were 25.26 ± 12.58 U/L (normal range 5-35 U/L), 33.13 ± 22.98 (normal range 5-35 U/L), and 25.11 ± 18.32 (normal range 6-37 U/L), respectively. By univariate analyses, there were significant associations between increasing AST, ALT, or GGT tertiles and age, body weight, body mass index, and waist and hip circumferences (P < 0.05). By multiple linear regression analyses, ALT was found to be positively correlated with dyslipidemia (B = 6.988, P = 0.038), whereas ALT and AST were negatively correlated with age. AST, ALT, and GGT levels had positive correlation with family history of liver disease (B = 15.763, P < 0.001), (B = 32.345, P < 0.001), (B =24.415, P < 0.001), ***: Although we did not determine the cutoffs of the upper normal limits for AST, ALT, and GGT levels, we would suggest screening asymptomatic patients with dyslipidemia and also subjects with a family history of liver disease.

进入21世纪后,绿色经济成为国际社会的主流话题,多个阿拉伯国家相继提出了绿色经济转型的战略目标。阿拉伯国家绿色转型过程中的决定因素主要由其作用主体、金融投资、绿色科技及绿色理念构成。在这些因素的主导下,近年来多个阿拉伯国家在绿色经济发展上取得了长足进展,但也面临着转型困境,需要解决国家优先事项议程、产业平衡及中小企业发展滞后、技术转让需求增加和技术创新能力不济、可持续发展财政拨款和社会融资贫乏等问题。中国在阿拉伯国家绿色转型过程中扮演了重要角色,其绿色经济发展的经验与策略为阿拉伯国家提供了较好的示范作用,主要体现在战略应和、技术转移、对外投资和智库交流四个方面。伴随阿拉伯国家绿色经济转型的不断深入,中国与阿拉伯国家在该领域的合作也呈现出前所未有的机遇。

Enhancing Cybersecurity through Cloud Computing Solutions in the United States

This study investigates how cybersecurity can be enhanced through cloud computing solutions in the United States. The motive for this study is due to the rampant loss of data, breaches, and unauthorized access of internet criminals in the United States. The study adopted a survey research design, collecting data from 890 cloud professionals with relevant knowledge of cybersecurity and cloud computing. A machine learning approach was adopted, specifically a random forest classifier, an ensemble, and a decision tree model. Out of the features in the data, ten important features were selected using random forest feature importance, which helps to achieve the objective of the study. The study’s purpose is to enable organizations to develop suitable techniques to prevent cybercrime using random forest predictions as they relate to cloud services in the United States. The effectiveness of the models used is evaluated by utilizing validation matrices that include recall values, accuracy, and precision, in addition to F1 scores and confusion matrices. Based on evaluation scores (accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 scores) of 81.9%, 82.6%, and 82.1%, the results demonstrated the effectiveness of the random forest model. It showed the importance of machine learning algorithms in preventing cybercrime and boosting security in the cloud environment. It recommends that other machine learning models be adopted to see how to improve cybersecurity through cloud computing.

Pattern of Eye Diseases among Tea Workers

Background: Bangladesh’s tea industry is essential to the country’s economic expansion. Since tea workers in Bangladesh are marginalized within our community, they have limited access to comprehensive eye care services. Productivity and well-being are cornerstones of comprehensive health care strategy. Ocular disorders are influenced by life expectancy, sociodemographic status, and the epidemiological transition. In this context, the state of ocular health and the many eye illnesses remain to be significantly addressed. Purpose: To evaluate the pattern of eye diseases among tea workers in a tea estate of Bangladesh. Methods: This cross-sectional observational study was carried out in Halda Valley Tea Estate, Nazirhat, Fatickchari, Chattogram, Bangladesh, under the supervision of the Department of Community Ophthalmology, BSMMU, following ethical clearance and approval by the IRB board of BSMMU. With informed written consent and approval from the authority of the tea estate, a total of 110 tea workers were recruited. Socio-demographic characteristics, ocular findings, and patterns of eye diseases were determined and recorded. Results: The mean age of the study participants was 39.60 ± 11.63 years. The maximum (58.1%) study participants were 31 - 50 years old, female (64.5%), illiterate (82.7%), and tribal (71.8%) indigenes. Eye diseases were found in 94.5% of workers. Presbyopia (28.2%), cataracts (27.3%), and refractive error (26.4%) were the most common. Tea workers with eye diseases were significantly older than those who did not have any eye diseases (40.20 ± 11.57 vs. 29.17 ± 7.31 years, p Conclusion: A significant number of tea workers had eye diseases, of which presbyopia, cataracts, and refractive error were the most common.

Aim: To investigate depression, anxiety, PTSD, and insomnia levels among Sudanese citizens after a year has passed since the start of Armed Forces conflict in Sudan. Methods: An online survey was distributed. It is composed of five parts, covering the following areas: 1) sociodemographic data;2) depression assessment;3) generalized anxiety disorder assessment;4) post-traumatic stress disorder assessment;and 5) insomnia assessment. Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 27 was used for data analysis;frequency and percentage were used to describe the qualitative variables. Spearman’s correlation analysis and Chi-square test were used for correlation and association analysis;a P-value equal to or less than 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: The study included 283 participants, primarily female (76.0%), with a mean age of 35.26 ± 6.96 years. The majority of participants were married (50.5%) and had a university level of education (50.2%). At the start of the war, 70.3% of participants were inside the war zones, and at the time of data collection, 73.5% were outside Sudan. The length of stay in the war zone ranged from 1 to 300 days, with a mean of 48.59 ± 70.284 days. Additionally, 63.3% of participants stated that they did not receive any form of mental health intervention, and the remaining did not provide an answer. There was a high prevalence of moderate-severe depression (50.5%), moderate anxiety (35.3%), PTSD (56.5%), and sub-threshold insomnia (53.4%) among the participants. Correlation analyses revealed associations between demographic factors such as sex, age, marital status, and education and mental health issues. Notably, female participants showed a higher prevalence of PTSD (53.0%) compared to male participants (67.6%). Conclusions: There is a substantial impact of war-related trauma on mental health, revealing a high prevalence of moderate-severe depression, moderate anxiety, PTSD, and sub-threshold insomnia among the particip
