The idea of positional inverted index is exploited for indexing of graph database. The main idea is the use of hashing tables in order to prune a considerable portion of graph database that cannot contain the answer set. These tables are implemented using column-based techniques and are used to store graphs of database, frequent sub-graphs and the neighborhood of nodes. In order to exact checking of remaining graphs, the vertex invariant is used for isomorphism test which can be parallel implemented. The results of evaluation indicate that proposed method outperforms existing methods.

Keyword search is an alternative for structured languages in querying graph-structured data.A result to a keyword query is a connected structure covering all or part of the queried *** textual coverage and structural compactness have been known as the two main properties of a relevant result to a keyword *** previous works examined these properties after retrieving all of the candidate results using a ranking function in a comparative ***,this needs a time-consuming search process,which is not appropriate for an interactive system in which the user expects results in the least possible *** problem has been addressed in recent works by confining the shape of results to examine their coverage and compactness during the ***,these methods still suffer from the existence of redundant nodes in the retrieved *** this paper,we introduce the semantic of minimal covered r-clique(MCCr)for the results of a keyword query as an extended model of existing *** propose some efficient algorithms to detect the MCCrs of a given *** algorithms can retrieve a comprehensive set of non-duplicate MCCrs in response to a keyword *** addition,these algorithms can be executed in a distributive manner,which makes them outstanding in the field of keyword *** also propose the approximate versions of these algorithms to retrieve the top-k approximate MCCrs in a polynomial *** is proved that the approximate algorithms can retrieve results in *** experiments on two real-world datasets confirm the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

Aggregate nearest neighbor(ANN) search retrieves for two spatial datasets T and Q, segment(s) of one or more trajectories from the set T having minimum aggregate distance to points in Q. When interacting with large amounts of trajectories, this process would be very time-consuming due to consecutive page loads. An approximate method for finding segments with minimum aggregate distance is proposed which can improve the response time. In order to index large volumes of trajectories, scalable and efficient trajectory index(SETI) structure is used. But some refinements are provided to temporal index of SETI to improve the performance of proposed method. The experiments were performed with different number of query points and percentages of dataset. It is shown that proposed method besides having an acceptable precision, can reduce the computation time significantly. It is also shown that the main fraction of search time among load time, ANN and computing convex and centroid, is related to ANN.

This paper proposes an adaptive method based on fuzzy logic that utilizes data from phasor measurement units(PMUs) to assess and classify generating-side voltage trajectories. The voltage variable and its associated derivatives are used as the input variables of a fuzzy-logic block. In addition, the voltage trajectory is compared with the pre-selected pilot-bus voltage to make a reliable decision about the voltage operational state. Different types of short-term voltage dynamics are considered in the proposed method. The fuzzy membership functions are determined using a systematic method that considers the current situation of the voltage trajectory. Finally, the voltage status is categorized into four classes to determine appropriate remedial actions. The proposed method is validated on a IEEE 73-bus power system in a MATLAB environment.

Thin-bedded turbidites are important hydrocarbon-bearing reservoirs in many mature fields throughout the *** type of turbidite depositional setting strongly influences vertical and horizontal continuity of the ***,distinguishing between lobe and levee associated thin-bedded turbidites remains challenging due to their generally similar facies *** study aims to contribute some insights to this problem by conducting a detailed bed-scale facies analysis on the Early Miocene Temburong Formation exposed at Kampung Bebuloh,Labuan Island,Malaysia,which may uncover features that can help in differentiating between both depositional *** facies are recognized in the Temburong Formation,which are interpreted as low density turbidites(F1-F4),hybrid event beds(F5),and sustained turbidites(F6).Detailed facies and ichnology analysis reveal features which are consistent with a lobe fringe deposit rather than leveeassociated environment interpretation,including tabular bed geometries,presence of hybrid event beds,and the absence of thick-bedded channel-fill *** facies associations are identified and interpreted as representing sub-environments within an overall lobe depositional setting.A diverse trace fossil assemblage,comprising the Nereites ichnofacies is consistent with a deep marine *** identification of the Paleodictyon and Nereites sub-ichnofacies indicates a distal turbidite system setting,most likely lobe *** on the thick accumulation of FA2 and FA3 and no distinct observable vertical trend,the Early Miocene Temburong Formation in Labuan is interpreted as turbidites deposited at the fringes of lobe complexes rather than a single lobe *** works into the Temburong Formation in SW Labuan proposed a middle slope to proximal basin floor setting where the thin-bedded intervals were interpreted as potentially representing either levee deposits or the fringes of confined lobe ***
